"The experience we had here was atrocious not one of the waiters (all eastern europeans) spoke any English, where miming salt and pepper pots brought us a chilli bottle; the orders were mixed up or duplicated; the food tasted terrible, the portions tiny (for the price); the noise level was way too high; we wanted a mix of set menu and a la carte, the waiter got into a tizz saying we could not do this, all HAD to be one or the other, yet nowhere on the menus did it write that. The only comfort was the stressed out manager, who bless her spoke a little English so we could convey our frustration at it all. A pity as we then had to leave the poor tasting food for a nearby McDonalds; embarrassing as we had planned a great night out. How the heck Talli Joe got voted best Indian in London baffled all of us, they have such a prime location yet service and food were really poor I would never ever go there again, any eaterie in London HAS to be better than this disastrous place."

"one of my favorites in petersfield. free space is beautiful, eating amazing and a good selection of ale. very friendly staff. update: this is still my favorite audience and what my favourite place for pizza. this is no longer the case. the pizza base is not homemade and it is no longer a good place for pizza. If you want to eat the delicious toppings that the Queen’s head has to offer a cracker, then they will visit here well. really disappointed, as they stand out against all competitors on site. visit other facilities in the city for better quality pizza. here is a moment of pizza before. update: Queen’s head now makes a grill menu."

"The restaurant was not open for our 7am breakfast reservation despite accepting our reservation via Open Table and having an opening time of 6am. We were traveling and needed to be assured a hot meal at an early hour, and Milano never contacted us to cancel the reservation or apologize for not being open when it was supposed to be. Its website also does not have an email address so you can only contact it via phone which doesn't work to alert management to a problem when the restaurant is closed. Very disappointing."

"I have eaten in so many Italian restaurants, my best friend is Italian and recently came with me to this place too. I have been here about 7-8 times over the past three years and every time they have gotten better and better. Every so often there will be a swing and a miss, I wouldn 't recommend the mushrooms on toast. But everything else, from the pizza to the moussaka to the sides, and starters, are just so homely, clearly made with love and made fresh. The staff are super friendly, sometimes a bit much, but it only makes you feel welcome. The service can be a tad slow on occasion, but then the environment is calm and relaxing and I can 't help but feel at ease here. The Italian restaurant across the road risoranto sorento have positive things to say about this place too and I am happy to go back. If you are happy to enjoy great portions, homely food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere, I recommend this place. I 'm going again tonight for my dad 's birthday :"

"I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while having lunch with friends and have been hooked ever since. The Moscow mule crafted by Ruggiero is phenomenal. Andrea and the entire staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and plentiful, the prices are reasonable, and the location in Porta Venezia is a bonus. The standout feature of this place is the daily specials, which are always changing and never boring. My daughter, who adores pak choi and found it in one of the specials, always insists on coming back for more! I highly recommend this restaurant to friends, as everyone has left satisfied. "Honestly, I must start off by saying how impressed I was with the quality of the vegetarian Chilli Freak pizza we ordered. It was arguably perfectly done with a delicious crust and tantalisingly good amounts of spice and heat — it’s just a shame with...what came before it. During a time of scrutiny where hygiene measures should be paramount within the food industry and takeaway kitchens, we were hugely disappointed to see staff at work not abiding by these guidelines, not wearing masks, beard nets, gloves and, terribly, handling meat without washing their hands before spreading vegetarian toppings. This is very, very poor and something I will write to Papa John’s directly about because (as pictured) zero attention or care is seemingly given to their customers behind the scenes. Not even wearing disposable gloves or masks with being so prevalent is something I find deeply unsettling. It’s therefore challenging for me to award Papa John’s in Brentwood anything more than two star. We also must address the costs of food on their menu. For solely a large pizza, you can be paying nearly GBP which is exorbitant! There is a distinct lack of friendly customer service and I imagine waiting times can be fairly long when the place is busy. So, all in all, whilst the pizza might have been delectable and makes formidable opposition when compared to a Pizza Hut order, behind the scenes there really is a great deal of work seemingly to be done. Quite dire hygiene it appears."

"I have a gluten intolerance and needed to use the QR code to access the menu there was no service on my phone or on anyone else’s phone on the table. My son asked for the WiFi code which didn’t work one of the waiters rudely said to him use your own Data. Still I can’t access the menu another waiter was v nice gave me his phone to use but now all I was faced with was a list of allergens where it seems almost everything on the menu contains gluten. No indication of what was available to me until I had to ask another waiter what I could actually eat… It was unnecessarily complicated. A simple GF menu with what I could eat ie you had GF pasta Pizza bases… just a thought as you were so busy I kept on having to ask, the QR code is rubbish if customers have trouble with the WiFi in your restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food the desert happy birthday song for my son’s birthday was nice."

"Popped into this small restaurant for a pre theatre meal. The front of house staff were very welcoming. On placing our order we were slightly disappointed that they had no mussels and focaccia and bruschetta did not float our boat, especially when we were planning to have pizza. The calamari we ordered appeared to be frozen, but was edible and the best of a poor selection ! Appetisers were served at the same time as the starters, which all appeared very rushed…! The pizza that was presented was freshly cooked and was in fact tasty enough ! This establishment is relatively busy, however as it’s such a “Small” restaurant one gets the feeling of a sardine in a tin, especially when the waitresses are passing the table regularly to serve other tables ! Regardless of these few small niggles, this establishment is probably the best of a bad bunch on Clerk Street, as this restaurant appeared cleaner than some of the others. It would make such a difference to the dining experience if the attention to detail was put in place and more ambiance was installed, as the “Just Eat” delivery guys project more of a cafeteria image than a restaurant. Delivery pick ups to the back door !!!!"

"Food and service were both good and we even didn't mind being seated next to the kitchen door but what really spoilt the evening was at the end of our main course the music volume was doubled and as we were sitting next to a speaker we had to shout to each other to be heard. Twice we asked for the music to be turned down, but it didn't seem any quieter. "Monday night and only two other tables occupied all evening. Very quiet. Took up OpenTable offer for two/three-course meal off the set menu but, Oh! how disappointing. No meat options at all, just tomato sauces on pasta. My children could have cooked better. So, inevitably, we went onto the full menu and had perfectly pleasant pasta with salmon sauce that was the day 's special for £10. From the list of salads we selected tomato salad and a bowl of freshly cut tomatoes dressed duly turned up with no further ado. Trade Descriptions could not have faulted it. But, again, my children could have prepared them in a more imaginative way. Service was charming and attentive, almost apologetic. They do not write the fixed price menu! Overall, a really below-average Italian meal in a rather dreary 'fast food ' looking restaurant on Baker Street, of all places! Really, although what was cooked was fine judged by nursery standards, it was an insult to Italian cooking. Cheap as chips and not as good."

"Quite simply shocking, we arrived with plenty of tables spare and took a seat on the terrace, the waitress saw us snd gave us menus then proceeded to seat snd serve every other person besides us.. we had to go inside and ask to be...served! Given that someone followed us out to serve us, two ‘regulars’ intervened and asked to be moved next to us on the terrace where there wasn’t much room and proceeded to be served, looked after impeccably before then getting to us.. we then noticed all other patrons were served their drinks etc first.. so went to ask where our drinks were we had ordered two pizzas by this stage.. must have waited mins for drinks from the time we arrived (both of us have hospitality backgrounds the weather changed so we moved indoors probably another mins before pizzas arrived.. mine was so greasy I had to use a napkin to soak it off, and then just couldn’t eat it as tasted too greasy.. we weren’t asked why I left half the pizza.. at this stage our waitress cleared the table and we asked for the bill, we waited another ten mins snd the same waitress came back and asked if we’d like anything else.. no we would just like the bill like we asked for.. service charge was added, think it should say optional, we took this off immediately as the service was shocking and I refuse to pay for it!! This place needs to be very careful.. there are so many fantastic places in Harrogate you need to keep up with the times! We will not be returning.. and I suggest anyone looking at this place thinks twice!"

"The appetizer was fantastic, but I could make a better main course at home. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was lacking, though the shrimp was good. It seems like they simply provided the raw ingredients. I recommend going to San Carlos in town to learn how to cook properly. If you are not familiar with authentic Italian cuisine, this average quality may be sufficient for you. Otherwise, you may be more satisfied with the steak dishes."

"such a beautiful place loves the style and ambiente; super clean, modern, but warm and welcoming with beautiful wood cladding and exposed beams. lighting is great, beautiful and warm not too bright. feels like the design and the aesthetics of the place were really thought out and busy. the personal was super attentive, friendly and personal not overlaid or intrusive. it felt like they enjoyed being there as much as they want us to enjoy it. the food/drink menus are extensive, with many veg/bread options. super tasty, beautifully presented and quickly produced with nothing to criticize whatever. Cocktail selection is brilliant, and we enjoyed the taste and presentation of the ones we had. a light nigger is that the cocktail menu “Any 3 for 2” on cocktails, which are specified individually at £8,50 per price. we did not get the impression that this applies only to 3 of the same cocktail. a little strange as they are all the same price. that was my only criticism, as far as the experience goes, but that doesn't mean it wasn't worth it. in total we had a nice time! in any case soon to come back."

"for the first time with a friend in this restaurant. it is a family-run restaurant and they are very friendly and welcoming. we have tried the garlic bread with cheese together with the local pizza (vegetarian) and really enjoyed our meal. the employees are attentive, but balance this with let them enjoy their meal alone. the prices are reasonable, food freshly cooked to order and tastes really good. very accommodating if they want to make any changes that they want to make with eating, as leaving off ingredients (for me it was left alcohol from some of the fish dishes that was great. highly recommended."

"Very nice little restaurant. Really friendly service and the food was excellent. Great pizza to start, with a charcoal dough base, it was a lot more interesting than what you get in most places. Two of us had the home made paccheri pasta with wild boar ragu from the specials menu and the other had the gnocchi. Both dishes were really good and authentically Italian. With a lovely tiramisu to finish, it really was an excellent meal. If you’re thinking of going, I’d recommend that you book in advance as it was full by the time we left."

"The restaurant was beautifully decorated, with the main counter/bar area adorned with colorful bottles of various types of alcohol. We used a Groupon voucher to celebrate a birthday, and there was a nice variety of food options available. We ordered 6 delicious pizzas and received fast service. The birthday girl enjoyed a strawberry cheesecake. The waitress was helpful and friendly. Compliments to the chef - we would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends."
