"When we arrived the restaurant wasn't so full and the service was amazing, very attentive. Towards the end of our meal, the service attention slowed down as they were trying to service too many tables, which was a shame. Our waiter was still lovely though, even though he looked a bit more stressed. We didn't have a desert as we ended up waiting too long for the menus, and when we finally got them we said it was too late as we needed to leave and he was very apologetic. Not really his fault at all, but we appreciated him apologising.. The food quality was still good, the Devils Kidneys were delicious and the skinny fries were cooked to perfection. I was disappointed we didn't get a desert in but we had to leave for a train, had the waiter brought us the menus sooner, we may just have had time to experience one."

"Unfortunately, the restaurant was packed the night we went. We had made a reservation through Open Table for a party of 4 but were treated as walk-ins and given a table near the door and next to a table of 10 who were extremely loud. As a result, the service was below par and we could hardly hear ourselves over the din. The wine waiter was lacking in education and skills and we were left to pour our own wines during the meal. The food was also below par— 3 of us had the house specialty (schnitzel) which was dry and lacking in presentation. Overall, this was a disappointing experience compared to favourable dining at other restaurants in the group — Bellanger and Colbert."

"I like the omelettes a lot and order every time. The best thing is the taste is just right, not too salty or spiced too much, so it feels more like having a meal with a family. Prices are also reasonable, they increased a bit but still offer better value than some other cafes."

"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning for an early breakfast. The atmosphere was simple and clean. Unfortunately, none of the staff greeted me when I arrived. I sat down, looked at the menu, and made my choices without any acknowledgment. When I placed my order, a grumpy employee came out from behind the counter, took my menu without a word, and placed it on the seat across from me. I prefer to read menus thoroughly, so I picked it back up. Despite the lack of communication, the food was delicious and the coffee was great. If you don't mind being ignored and are just looking for good food, this place is for you. It's a shame that the service was lacking. Remember, a smile is free."

"We didn't enjoy our latest trip to Harts. The actual restaurant is looking tired and dated. The back seat in our booth was broken, toilets resemble a motorway service station, cold, slightly grubby and in desperate need of renovation. The food was not very pleasant, all looks very fancy, but not particularly tasty! Our main fish dish was not cooked enough for our liking but asking for it to be cooked a little longer became a bit if an embarrassing drama. A total of 4 staff members came over and commented on it, with us being told that chef said it was cooked as it should be. I didn't question that, merely that i wanted it to be well cooked. All very embarrassing and I felt rather uncomfortable for the rest of the evening."

"Hart's Kitchen is off to a great start in the new year. We enjoyed plump, tasty, garlicky prawns and a comforting, creamy artichoke soup for starters. The flat iron steak, cooked medium rare as requested, was flavorful and satisfying. For dessert, we had a delicious chocolate fondant with ice cream and some standard Madeleines with lemon curd. The wine list offered plenty of options at reasonable prices. The service from the one waiter in the small dining area was professional and friendly. It's reassuring to see that this long-standing Nottingham restaurant is still serving up excellent food."

"Great place went there for a Sunday brunch with the kids and some friends. I usually don't expect much from a weatherspoon but I was surprised in a good way. Friendly staff , they were welcoming and got us highchairs for the children. The place wasn't overly busy but I can imagine it's packed during the week We ordered 2 kids Sunday roast it came with chicken, peas, roast potatoes, carrots and gravy. Plus a drink and fruit bowl. "I received a call from the moniker 1 hour before our booking for 6 for christmas lunch informed me that they did not provide tables and would not confirm the booking of opentable. they mentioned that they had problems with opentable in the past, and while they were very repentant for the inconvenience - were completely able to do everything to make this right. it is obvious that the attempt to find a table for 6 during the holiday is near impossible, but I am pleased to report that the corn exchange on 1 minster court was friendly, courteous and able to create a place for us. I would highly recommend to take their business there and stay as far away from the moniker as possible."

"Brilliant. In the middle of the world Cup an oasis away from the Football oiks Yes it was shown on a TV (no problem with that) but doesn 't over-rule everything else! Not a huge range of ales, but the Pies make up for it. Superb taste, and plenty of it. Will definitely return."
