"If you want something a little different this is worth a visit. There is an outdoor terrace if the weather allows or an interior that is a bit somber for a lunchtime. The menu is quite innovative with a range of sizes from small plates to larger portions. and prices are competitive. Order at the bar quoting your table number and the food will be brought promptly. There’s a container of chilled water on the bar for self service and on the day of our visit the staff were donating their tips and selling cakes in support of the Macmillan big coffee morning."

"After booking through the Internet and not knowing Wing, chose the queens head as it looked liked a good menu. Was a bit shocked on arrival to find that we were the only people booked for a Saturday lunch. We looked at the menu and were then told the specials three of us us had the bacon Gorgonzola risotto topped with smoked haddock and poached egg, one chose the seafood platter, all from the specials. The risotto was delicious, and the sea food platter was nearly empty so that was just as good. The ambiance wasn't what we were looking for but the food made up for it. Well done to the chef. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble."

"Food was really good and tasty. Waitresses wasn’t sure what I meant by gluten free but I asked her to check and she did. Front of house staff let the chefs down. Service wasn’t great, maybe just understaffed for the day. We had to ask for pudding menu, and three kids desserts wasn’t brought out so had to ask for them. No spoons were given to eat puddings so again had to ask for them. I asked if we had to order at the bar but it was table service. Could have done with maybe another 2 checks throughout our meal. One being during main course and would you like any more drinks, as would have definitely had another round. Slow service that let the food down. I would go again though, as maybe it was a one off on that day?"

"Today I had Sunday lunch at The Golden Lion. I had the Lamb and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and the meal was just the right portion size. The Roast potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding were mouth wateringly good. You're also given broccoli, green beans and red cabbage which were the perfect accompaniment to the meal. I was with family members who said that their beef was delicious as well. I had the Sunday lunch when The Golden Lion started doing them and they were nice then but now they are fabulous and I highly recommend that you try them. I would also add that the service from the friendly staff is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. Well done Golden Lion. Will be back soon."

"Excellent choices on the menu, we had 3 courses and all were deliciou although we could easily have made different choices such was the range. Service was very good and overall this was a very pleasant experience and good value too. Definitely worth another visit."

"This is not like any other peking chinese in London it is michelin star5 and just like hotel service. food is very nice no gelly gluey sauces. prawn crackers are served on arrival free of charge. meals are served on hot burners and food is plentiful. there are many unusual dishes and drinks are also good. there is also a bar waiting area. this place is great for celebrations or parties and has a warm atomosphere. make sure you choose crispy fried shredded beef in chilli ask for it extra hot. average cost £15 per head, parking availble on street parking after 7pm. bookings availble. a place to take all your friends. nearest station northfields tube picadilly line."

"Our evening was ruined by a very loud group of very drunk people on an adjacent table who shouted down the rest of the restaurant throughout the evening. We could not hear a word of our own conversation and our young daughter was nearly in tears. I asked the waiters to intervene nether they nor the manager did, other than continuing to serve the group wine beer. The food here may be good but it was irrelevant. I will never go again and advise others to be very careful. It’s a tiny room. My evening was ruined."

"We had a fantastic evening before Christmas decided to go back but how I wish we hadn't. The restaurant was relatively quiet as you would expect on a Wednesday evening but we were hidden out the way behind a column it felt as if it was too much hassle for the waitress to come round the corner to serve us in a personal manner. Menus were pushed on to the corner of the table the same with dessert spoons. The waitress comments were also unnecessary not funny, just because we ordered the same main meal she wouldn't let it drop all evening. The food was ok but nothing special, the lemon meringue pie wasn't good the salad had the dressing on it already it was drenched. The toilet downstairs always smells unpleasant which is not great if you're sitting close by. I have to say there is enough competition in the surrounding areas that we won't be returning, sadly another customer lost."

"Overall a nice afternoon spent at the resturant. The sesting area we were given had remnants of someone else's crumbs etc. The food itself was nice but we seemed to get forgotten about when we were offered more bread and drinks, we had to ask for both again and there seemed to be a bit of a communication problem regarding dessert which we checked to see if it contained nuts due to an allergy, apparently it didn't, then half of the dessert arrived and apparently some of the components did contain nuts after all. We had also seen coffee or tea was complimentary on online advertising but we were intially charged for coffees we asked for until I pointed out the facebook post I'd seen that week offering the beverages as complimentary. I was just a little disappointed with the amount of little things for somewhere so highly rated and for the money/service charge applied."

"Me and my partner went on the out deal on Wednesday and we had a reasonably pleasant time the only downfall I would say is that on arrival and after being seated to our chairs we was just about to go up to the salad buffet area and was then informed we would need our own face masks to be able to use the buffet -I would expect this to be on the website and if it is I would expect it to be quite clearly stated and also to be told beforehand or with notices outside because for people who do not have these to hand they would be missing out and be unable to get any sides with the meat. we travelled a fair distance to this restaurant The buffet was also very small compared to what it usually was and was not stocked up at all left with the dribs and drabs. The service was ok- the staff serving the meat were fantastic and nice to talk to however our actual waiters who seated us and took our drink orders never came back during the meal and were very disinterested with the customers from what I saw throughout my visit. I won’t be coming back to this particular restaurant however other restaurants have a fantastic attitude and service."

"First time back after the overhaul and didn't disappoint! I miss the bar down the stairs but luckily got to chill by the new bar before our table was ready which was great as got to try the diffent gins on offer! when at the table we where really well looked after and service was quick the Steak was amazing cant wait to return"

"We recently had a negative and unprofessional experience at the Oddfellows Arms. A group of moms had difficulty arranging childcare to meet for dinner, resulting in some members arriving 10 minutes late. The staff at the restaurant unpleasantly complained and pressured us about being late, even though we had not been given menus or offered drinks. The suggestion for the latecomer to order ahead was rudely rejected. The situation escalated until the chef appeared and declared that no one would be served, using intimidating body language and sarcastic comments towards our group of ladies. It is advertised on their Facebook page that food is served until 8:30, but this was not the case. If they require people to order before the kitchen closes, this should be clearly stated. Our group was fortunately able to enjoy a great meal elsewhere with friendly service. The hostility shown by the Oddfellows staff makes it a pub to avoid under its current management."

"I would recommend staying away from this chain restaurant. The food does not resemble authentic Italian cuisine and the ingredients do not seem to be fresh, tasting as though they were frozen. It seems that many dishes are pre-made at a central kitchen. They do clearly mark allergy triggers for those with dietary restrictions. The service is satisfactory for dining in for dinner, with an average price of £30-40 per person. I cannot confirm the options for vegetarians, as I am unsure. However, vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled on the menu. The restaurant offers plenty of parking with a free parking lot."

"We recently tried the "celebration menu" at this restaurant for a friend's birthday. My partner and I opted for the GF options since it is a shared menu. The employee was exceptional, discussing all options with me and even adding an extra GF item from the regular menu so we could enjoy both a starter and main course. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious. It was a great experience overall and we will definitely be returning in the future."

"Randomly decided to have lunch here. Previously, always walk by and never thought of twice to stop for a meal. Glad we stopped and they had a table available. Love the interior decor. Option on nice big window seating or you can site further in away from the natural light for a more cozier atmosphere. Waiting service is excellent no issues and friendly. A few dietery and gluten free options available which always a plus. Prices are great and the food was very tasty and perfectly seasoned for my taste buds. Manager was very polite and personable. For a traditional French and English meal and good service with out spending too much I would highly recommend. Will visit again to try out more of their cruises."

"Beautifully presented small cakes, based on chocolates from selection boxes, mini scones were hard therefore crumbled when applying clotted cream. Cheese savoury tart, served warm was delicious. Did book my 6 year old granddaughter as an add on for the childrens afternoon tea the only way to book it online) but they had not checked the booking therefore she had the same food offering, the description suggested something appropriate would be made as long as there was a 2 hour notice for the chef to prepare, booked 24 hours in advance. Staff were very friendly, made us welcome acknowledged my granddaughter."

"on Wednesday, the 13th april, was in london to celebrate my stepson birthday. we had the best time to eat was amazingly fresh, tasted fantastic the aromen were fab! the choice was good and many options for vegetarian also. but what our time here specifically made was the amazing personal! every single employee felt so welcome and the service was top class, we were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much annoyed for everyone! we asked for a birthday candle in one of the desserts and we were treated with a selection of baked and an amazing candle! we would like to thank all those who are in andys for the big aftternoon, we will call back in any case if we are next in london! oh, we have finished with Liquer coffee which was the best I had for a long time!"

"Went for lunch and were the first to be seated. Around 10 minutes later other diners came, communicating in their first language with staff. We were sat waiting to order, no one came back. A young man came to ask if we wanted drinks, we said no and wanted to order food. He just left and didn't take our order as it wasn't his job. Sat there watching staff standing at the juice bar. Then the two diners who arrived after 10 minutes after is were served their food. All still while our order wasn't taken. We were contemplating leaving. A lady sent food back and new food was prepared before our order was even taken. The second time I've been to paste and I felt discriminated against on this occasion. People of the same nationality were served first. One diner finished their meal and we hadn't even had our order. I won't be going back. Shame the foods nice. Cheeky they included a tip on the bill, when we had extremely poor and bad service."

"Beautiful getaway for two. Breakfast was great (buffet or you can to look at menu however they don't give it, so you'll have to ask for it). Definitely recommended going for a walk and explore the grounds (check out leaflet at front desk). The rooms had everything you need (clean and everything worked) Late check out without charge. Drinks at bar were expensive. Spa was honestly amazing, one of the best, felt really relaxed. We could have used the spa facilities, but decided not to. There was a outdoor pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi (small in the inside pool area), steam, sauna, a nail tech and a snooker room. Brilliant time overall."
