"Have not been to the Chop House for years but really enjoyed my last visit. All members of staff we came across with were very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious as usual. We opted in for a set menu and I had a mackerel salad which reminded me of Niçoise salad, with an egg, plenty of mackerel and French beans, my friend enjoyed Haggis fritters. For the main I had a ham hock which came with thick cut chips, they were crispy from the outside and fluffy inside and runny yolk duck egg, absolute perfection. Dessert was a classic Sticky toffee, I have had it many times in the past and was pleasantly surprised that the recipe hasn't changed, it is absolutely delicious, generous portion swerved with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce. We really enjoyed our meal and service from the moment we arrived and left. Thank you"

Cute little place. The cauliflower appetizers were yummy. But I was disappointed in my 8 oz steak. It was very chewy. And the slaw is very mayonnaise.

It was delightful to enjoy a roast dinner, but I was disappointed to once again miss out on Yorkshire pudding. It is definitely possible to make a delicious gluten-free Yorkshire pudding.

Good restaurant, with a variety of choices. Was very happy with the food and drinks. The staff were very nice and helpful. Great view on the main square if seated upstairs (would certainly recommend that). View menu

The food was amazing, absolutely delicious. A little bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The staff was super nice, and when I asked about gluten they brought me the gluten free menu. They are well educated on celiac disease.

We really enjoyed the chop house. Nice selection of meats from all kinds. Good service, a nice lunch menu and alcohol options as well. A good pick if you are into a steak or other meats while in Cambridge. Both the steak and the ham were great, thanks a lot

Great option for gluten-free and dairy-free food. The waiters are nice and attentive, and they understand guests' dietary restrictions well. The menu is well-suited for those with dietary restrictions. The prices are a bit high, but worth it for the quality of the food and service. View menu

SOOO tasty perfect warm hug on a Sunday. The Sunday roast was so delicious. I feel like it was missing something though. Maybe some roasted garlic and/or stuffing? We also got the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was probably one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The drinks were great too would recommend their dessert cocktails.

The Cambridge Chop House is a fantastic option for those looking for gluten-free dining. This restaurant is part of the Cams Cuisine group, which operates eight pubs and restaurants in the Cambridge area. Their menus are clearly labeled with gluten-free options, and the staff are attentive to allergen concerns. The gluten-free menu offers a variety of dishes including fish, chicken, and steak, with a few vegetarian/vegan options available as well. They also have a selection of gluten-free desserts such as Eaton Mess, burnt cream, brownies, and a delicious sticky toffee pudding. I highly recommend reserving a table upstairs for a great view of King's Parade, and also checking out their other...
