"We arrived at 19.30 as booked on the Saturday before Christmas. We were taken to the table, given menus and asked what we would like to drink. We chose an Australian Chardonnay from a selection of four or five whites. When the wine arrived we were asked what we would like to order to be told that there was no fish and no steak. Both of which would have been choices for my family. So the choice was burgers or pasta. We considered leaving but decided to stay. It took over an hour for the food to arrive, even though the restaurant was not busy, so we needed another bottle of wine: none left only Sauvignon Blanc. When the food did arrive in fairness it was hot and tasty, the service was from a very tired waitress who tried to be helpful. But none of us actually hate what we would have had as a first choice. So sorry to the restaurant but no recommendation from me."

"We booked a children’s party here for ten kids through groupon. Booking wasn’t very straightforward as the member of staff didn’t know what we were talking about. We never received any confirmation of booking either. Once we got there we were shown the tables available for us and the two bowling lanes. We were the only customers in the place so having ten kids for a party should of been easy. First off the constant nagging from the female member of staff put a real damper on the day. Kids are noisy,they run around bearing in mind it’s a kids party. This member of staff was at my side every five minutes complaining about one thing or another. The bowling alley wasn’t great,at one stage the ball actually rolled back up the alley. The food is unlimited on the groupon with pasta, chips and pizza available. The kids were hungry and ate well but we didn’t need anymore food. There were a few left over slices of pizza which I offered to the adults. The female member of staff actually took the pizza out of my mums hand saying it was for the kids,took it away and binned it. When she came to complain to me again I actually told her to leave me alone and requested the manager. There were a few complaints from us about the way the staff behaved and when I discussed this with the manager he just blamed the staff. When I explained that I’m an avid trip adviser reviewer he tried to bribe me with a free game if I gave a good review. It’s a great deal on the face of it but it was a total nightmare. I even opened a tab and spent £60 on top of the party cost as I know the business doesn’t make a profit from groupon,this included food for the adults. The male member of staff behind the bar was fantastic."

"This restaurant lacks awareness of allergens. When I ordered my food, the server didn't understand and had to ask someone else for help. While I appreciate them double-checking, I was disappointed to receive the Gluten Free Ploughman's with a non-GF pork pie. The pork pie was eventually taken away, but crumbs were left on the tray. The food itself was mediocre at best. I don't plan on returning to this restaurant. Although there were some gluten-free options on the menu, I had previously emailed to confirm if they offered light bites and sandwiches for those with dietary restrictions."

"Excellent Customer Service, professional and very engaging. High standards of dress code and appearance, communicative, friendly and funny with excellent English language skills even as not native speaker. Great recommendations of selection of food, wine, dessert and coffee. Delicious freshly prepared tasteful food. "Fantastic ..... I took my husband for his birthday. It was our first time there. We were welcomed by all. Family run, so everyone is really friendly. Food was great. Fantastic valve. Plenty of meat going around. So much so we couldn’t eat another thing we were too full. The hot buffet was great, not over faced with food that been sat around too long. Regularly changed and topped up. Would recommend and will be back again soon."

"I went there for Sunday dinner at 4:30 p.m., as I had never eaten there before. I was disappointed to learn that they had run out of bratwurst, which led the three of us to opt for the roast chicken instead. After a wait of about 30 minutes between our starters and the main course, I was shocked by the small portion of chicken we received. It was just half a chicken breast and a tiny piece. My wife voiced her dissatisfaction, and the staff apologized, explaining that they had run out of the larger cuts. They offered her an additional piece, which she accepted, but it still wasn’t great. They didn’t even check if the other two members of our party, who also received minimal portions, wanted more meat. They should have been upfront and informed us beforehand that they didn’t have enough chicken for three meals, and perhaps offered an alternative dish for the other two instead. I will not be returning, as there are many better options for Sunday dinner. It was very disappointing."

"Walked past and thought it looked lovely, booked a table for 7.30 so we could pop across the road and enjoy a drink first. Lady server kindly put a reserve sign on an outside table underneath the canopy. Came back to find our table had been allocated to someone else. They brought a new table out which was wonky). However as no room under the canopy, we were on the pavement. 5 minutes later it started to rain so we had no option to move inside. Would not have needed to if they had given us our original table. Now I could have forgiven that had the food been exceptional, sadly not . I had the meatballs, which were so dry i had to ask for a sauce/dip to accompany them. The meal which included boiled rice salad was dry and of poor quality. My other half ordered lamb moussaka. The comment was it was ok but could not see much lamb. When the bill came we saw why, they had given her a vegetarian moussaka ! We pointed this out to the waitress, no apology and no interest, shrugged her shoulders and walked off. On a side note another table had the bill brought to them 3 times as they had been charged for extra items that had not been part of there meal."

"Excellent restaurant in former pub. There is a pretty courtyard garden, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. They serve authentic and delicious Greek food. Service is impeccable. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was by how they coped with my garlic allergy. They talked me through the menu, made special garlic-free food for me, thought proactively about related foods which might cause a problem for me, and gave me very reassurance throughout the meal, so I was able to relax completely and enjoy my food. A shining example of how to handle allergies. Brilliant!"

"Had a great meal at The Water Witch. They where great with last minute booking changes and pre orders with great wheel chair access. Food arrived within 4 minutes of being seated. I know it was a preorder but still, it was very well timed. The steak was exactly what I wanted, and the peppercorn source wasamazing. Cheesecake was biscoff with Wallis clotted cream icecream and a passion fruit mix sauce, the base was soft and the cheese melted in your mouth. On top of this customer service was perfect. Our server/waiter greated us when we arrived and showed us to our table. Overall 10/10 I had a great night and Will be returning for an afternoon cheese board."

"had a nice meal at pecking order. super friendly service and good food. Mac cheese truffle bites were hot, crisp and tasty, and the naked blt had tender, moist chicken, crispy speck, embroidered with a soft poached egg. sweet potato fries as a side tasty. after that I ordered a takeaway for the son of the redisserie of my friend, who was cooked to order, very generous portion size for the chicken (we only ordered a quarter) as well as for the thin liquid pommes that accompanied it. "We had a lovely Sunday brunch with two families dining together. The menu offered some interesting options in addition to the usual fare. I opted for the Persian brunch, which was delicious and left me feeling completely satisfied. My friend enjoyed the granola, too. We were lucky to have a table for eight indoors at 11 o'clock, while most others were seated outside. We'll definitely be back!"

"I had a pleasant dining experience at Pecking Order. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. The mac and cheese truffle bites were hot, crispy, and flavorful, while the Naked BLT had tender, juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and a perfectly poached egg. The sweet potato fries as a side were also very tasty. I also ordered a takeaway Rotisserie chicken for my friend's son, which came in a generous portion size and was cooked to perfection.Overall, a great meal. "
