"Had a great meal at The Water Witch. They where great with last minute booking changes and pre orders with great wheel chair access. Food arrived within 4 minutes of being seated. I know it was a preorder but still, it was very well timed. The steak was exactly what I wanted, and the peppercorn source wasamazing. Cheesecake was biscoff with Wallis clotted cream icecream and a passion fruit mix sauce, the base was soft and the cheese melted in your mouth. On top of this customer service was perfect. Our server/waiter greated us when we arrived and showed us to our table. Overall 10/10 I had a great night and Will be returning for an afternoon cheese board."

Nice food. Great service. Good value. Found this little place one afternoon and apart from the obvious down and outs hanging around (further down the Canal on the opposite side to this pub) this could be the best pub location in Lancaster View menu

This pub/restaurant is situated by the canal and boasts a lovely ambiance. They offer a wide range of vegan dishes. I highly recommend trying the Butternut-Queso bakery package—it's an ideal choice for a Sunday roast or any meal! The staff is very friendly, and they also host a lively gathering on Thursday nights.

The restaurant offered a great variety of dishes, and it seems they update their menu regularly. I tried the potato and cauliflower curry, which tasted authentic but was a bit lacking in flavor. Other vegan options included zucchini linguine, pie, and pizzas. The portion sizes were generous! Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photos since my phone camera is broken. View menu

The multi award-winning Water Witch is situated on the picturesque Lancaster canal, a five minute stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the historic city centre. The Water Witch was originally converted from purpose built stables in 1978, and offers a large range of high quality dishes ranging from Great British classics to build your own deli boards, hand stretched stone baked pizzas and continental cuisine. We had nice experience today here, staff is always friendly and polite. Beautiful location.

eating is always very tasty and today there was no taking. Sunday roasts are a little disappointing, although no vegan options (for allergies). the creamy maic even comes with the nut roast and the brat potatoes are cooked in butter. I didn't want to have roast without yorkshire pudding, maische und bratkartoffeln, so leave the frying-dinner idea and have had the vegan maischeersatz wurst. very tasty, but no veg on the plate. I had to sniff a veg from the teller of my partner. I have often eaten here and the chef always work hard to adapt to the menu needs just a few more vegan options that they would make jobs a little easier.
