"This place is AMAZING. Such a hidden gem. In two minds about reviewing because I don't want this place to get too popular and then we can't just rock up and get a table... We went last week for a Saturday lunch to treat ourselves and felt super safe and spaced out from the others. It was a rainy day so it wasn't busy which was ideal for us! We ordered lots of different things including the vegetable tempura, spring rolls, veggie gyoza, vegan tofu lunch bowl special, and duck pancakes. I'm vegan but my husband isn't and my veggie food was incredible literally the best veg tempura I've ever eaten and I have tried that dish from every restaurant imaginable, so it's the highest of compliments. Their smoothie was delicious and my husband enjoyed the floral tea he ordered I can't wait to come back with my friends!! The service was lovely, the value for money even better and my mouth is watering just thinking about the food I had there. Thanks so much Itto <3"

"This was the most awful customer service I have ever experienced. The manager/owner accused me of lying about confirming my table with a member of staff, went on a long rant about how we have been uncontactable (I have the record of the call on...my phone) and that they would never serve a group larger than 8 and if anyone else turned up they would be refused. The pub was empty apart from 2 other tables. Her tone was rude, patronising and I honestly cannot understand why anyone who works with the public would behave in this manner. This was a birthday booking (which she was aware of as she mentioned it in her rant) and she ruined a perfectly nice family lunch. We left and did not eat. Truly bizarre behaviour from someone who runs a pub, I can see from other reviews she has been this rude to other customers. The other waitresses we spoke to were lovely but I would not recommend giving this woman your money."

"I thought the food was excellent and the portions are generous. Try the smoked chicken or the yakitori skewers as a starter, or the katsu curry as a main really nice and really enjoyable. I cannot comment on the quality of the desserts as I couldn't handle that as well. The only quirk was that the place seemed to have an odd jazz cd on. Didn't seem to fit with the general aesthetic."

"We came for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, roast potatoes so crispy and soft, meat cooked perfectly, most humongous Yorkshire pudding and possibly the best cauliflower cheese (according to my and year old). So amazing and beautifully presented and staff were so attentive. Cannot wait to return. Thank you."

"Food was over half an hour late; driver completely missed our block of flats and wandered off in the opposite direction, didn’t ring us at all, and didn’t show with the food for another 10 minutes. We then got a phone all from the restaurant to say that the driver was outside. We notified them that there had been no knock. We then looked outside and the driver was at a different block of flats over the road. Food was then cold when we opened it (no wonder, given how late it was and the 10 minutes outside! . Quality was okay but nothing special. I don’t think we will order again,"
