"Been here several times in the past and always had a great experience . Went there with ten friends from a motoring group . To a man they enthused about how good the meal was , how good and friendly the staff were and the whole evening went so well . "Dinner here was supposed to be one of the highlights of a week away over Christmas. Sadly did not live up to the expectation. The main reason being that as soon as we five were seated, we were given a list of menu options of what was no longer available. In 40 years I have never faced a list of missing options in any restaurant, perhaps the odd 1 or 2 options. Disappointment was compounded by the wholly inappropriate excuse that there was insufficient food because it was Christmas!! What remained of the evening was OK, food was OK and the service was good. All in all, it was a let down. Recommend that the management up their game with regards to menu planning and food ordering in the future."

"I was seated in a cramped corner, and it took some time for someone to come to our table. I had made a reservation a month in advance and expected a decent table. Justifying the poor seating by saying it was Valentine's Day doesn't sit well with me. The food was overpriced for pub fare, and the pictures online made it seem better than it actually was. I won't be returning."

"Dining here was a 5 star experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, I went with a group of 5 people and we had a table in the back on the ground floor. It was very roomy, and the table was set beautifully. The food was divine, we all shared every appetizer, I highly recommend the squid. I had the Hake for my main, which was the fish of the day, I ate every bite. The dessert tasted as good as it looked, best passion fruit so dry I have ever had! All of the staff was absolutely amazing. Myself and another person in our group has dietary restrictions/allergies, and our server took very good care of us. I will definitely be coming here again with other family and friends!!"

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"I'm not sure what this place wants to be. It was playing club music but in the surrounding of a fine dine establishment. To be fair the steak was really nice but felt the other dishes lacked imagination they were all quite similar. Finally I just felt it was all over priced for what was on offer."

"I will never return to this restaurant! I strongly advise against visiting. The food lacked any flavor and, to make matters worse, I found a hair in my dish. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he became defensive and placed the blame on us. His rudeness and complete lack of customer service skills were astonishing. A group of nine of us had traveled 25 minutes based on positive reviews, but we were met with utter disappointment."

"Poor experience start to finish. Both waiters appeared to have no experience at all. On arrival restaurant was quiet with only one other table, waiter was unable to prepare alcoholic drinks, so we had to wait for another waiter, which resulted in a 40 minute wait for drinks. Once food was finally ordered, starters and main course all came at once, leaving no room on the table. The chicken tikka was cold and had to go back to the kitchen to be microwaved and the naan bread was hard. Sadly, the food was not what was expected having read other reviews. The waiters were pleasant, but not once checked that the food was ok or whether we would like more drinks. The ladies bathroom was far from clean with no toilet paper and a dirty sink. The meal was very disappointing and expensive. It was easy to see why the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night."

"However, I want to note that Niku reached out to me to discuss my concerns, and the representative I spoke with was very understanding. It turns out that the door staff were not the usual team, and I was assured they won't be hired for future events. It's important for venues to remember that their door staff reflect their reputation, and they should be careful about who they choose to hire. Overall, my experience was disappointing, with a price tag of over £100 per person for food, service, and atmosphere all rating a 1 out of 5."

"My son and girlfriend always rave about this restaurant in Islington. And at last we were able to join them. Quite frankly it doesn't get any better than this. Great traditional Italian food, served by highly efficient and friendly staff, and pleasant surprise when the bill came too, such great value for money. I'm sure now when in London we will make special trips to come here."

"Let's see, walked in and was calm, played music and was served by the waiter who sat on us. Both waiters and managers were kind, they gave us honest opinions about the food, and when they thought something would not fit our range, they told us. The food was fast and the service flew as it should. It is a shame that there were only 3 other tables of 3 and 5. An atmosphere would have created a perfect evening. I say I can't blame food, drink, service or hygiene. The fact that they show a window in the kitchen only builds my confidence that the hygiene standard it in the entire restaurant and not just the front. We will definitely return as I now have one of their loyalty cards and get both offers and points. Maybe we'll bring some more people. On a last note, the manager spoke to us about a Rajesh Khana Tribute Night, would like to go there for this. It seems to be an ongoing monthly event. Can wait until they start."

"service was slow and people who came after us were served before us drinks and meals. we had to ask for drinks and menus and for our orders. I had the duck with honey roasted veg. I do not prefer to eat too much meat, but no veggie option on the menu. the duck was harder than she looked, so I hardly ate anything of it. the personal had taken over the costs for the bill. were delicious. it is a beautiful atmosphere and the bar next to heaving. overall a beautiful place to go with friends. even if I was somewhat disappointed with my meal, I would try something else on the menu again and again."

"Amazing service received by my family on Saturday night. My aunt was over from USA so we decided to take her out for her 1st Indian meal. "Came here with my Mum for a mid-week lunch. We opted for the Lunch Time Menu, 2 courses for £6.99. We both Ordered the Calamari and then the Chicken Shish. Service was good, a little slow but we weren't in a rush. We asked for both courses to arrive together. Food arrived in maybe about half an hour which was slower than I thought it would arrive seeing as we were the only people in there. The Calamari was good, the salad looked a little old and limp. The main course consisted of Chicken Shish, Rice, Salad and Flatbread and it was so tasty. I am not normally a fan of Rice but was surprised with how good the Rice in my meal tasted! The portion size was good and for the money was really good value for money. We looked at the menu and have seen many dishes we would like to try for Dinner so we are sure to be back soon!"

"The best balti in all of Great Britain. We have been coming here for 15 years, and last night I brought my girlfriend along. We had a fantastic time, the staff were as welcoming and friendly as ever. The food was delicious and very affordable. We ordered katlama, chicken pakora, chicken balti, huh jalfrezi, two naans, and a side of rice, all of which were excellent. For dessert, we had gul road jamun and chocolate barfi. The total bill came to £27, what a great deal!"
