"After waiting 45 minutes past our reservation time, we were finally seated. However, we were instructed to stand off to the side, which was uncomfortable with so many people walking by. We didn't receive any drinks until we were seated at our table. The prices for the food were reasonable, but the taste left something to be desired. We will opt for the Asian restaurant next time."

"we came here at the beginning of December in a busy night before we went to the cinema. I called earlier to make a reservation for two and asked if we were quickly served to make our movie. we booked for 7pm something earlier than the party bookings. the tables were a little close together. but even if they were busy, we were really served fast and finished in time to go to the cinema for 7.45. the appetizers were excessive for what they were according to my opinion. we ordered a part of the garlic garnel on spits we got four garnels and a diving sauce for about 8 pfu and they tasted nothing. for the net we ordered the crispy sea roast with red curry sauce from the special menu and the prawn yellow curry. the sea roast came as two filets drowned with sauce. it was not fresh. it tasted very fish and was a bit overcooked. the dish was quite dry in a bite. the yellow curry sauce was amazing. the grilled part was generous and there was a lot of extra sauce we used to mask the sea roast on the other plate. it only took a few more sweets in a pot to complete the court. we ordered a part rice and it was quite large enough for two with rest of our food. we had a court next to Roti canai. the roti were delicious. there was not enough sauce for the two rotis so we used the sauce from our curry. overall we have eaten well and made it into the cinema in time. the service was fast and friendly. I'm glad we came to the time we went, there was a snake for tables all over the stairs. when we came back here, we would skip appetizers and order a few different curries and a little extra sweet and enjoy us."

"Went to Meat Co for my anniversary. There was a hair in my steak. I'm not so much annoyed about this but was more frustrated at the attitude from the Manager. Firstly, she denied that there was a hair making me feel as if I was lying about it. Secondly, they expected my boyfriend to eat his food whilst i watched him for 30 minutes whilst a new steak was cooked. Had to keep pushing for our food to come together, rolled her eyes took all the food and brought back the food altogether. Bad experience on this occasion but have previously had a good experience at this restaurant."

"We were initially seated and given the menu, but we noticed there was no drinks menu. When we tried to order drinks, the server assumed we already knew what we wanted despite not having a drinks menu. We ordered wings that were overcooked, but the shrimp was tasty. Next, we ordered the skewers. The skewers were brought to our table, but we were left to cook them ourselves. When we tried to cut the meat off the skewers, another waiter scolded us and said that the other waiters would have taken care of it for us. Overall, the service was lacking, particularly from the Asian server with glasses. The skewers themselves were delicious, but we experienced better service at a more affordable restaurant."

"Welcome to birmingham. Welcome to the bartons arms. Usually when I visit a pub, I take some quick photos of the pub sign and go inside. I didn't know where to show my camera. there was so much to inspire the eyes. the red brick building takes a large space on the corner of the high road in aston. When they look around outside, they remember to look up again. the beauty goes far beyond the second floor. the eyes sweetness go on when they enter. the deck is high. the middle piece is the fine rounded wood beam surface. the eyes are worn to the big staircase and glitter as they take the decorative percaline wall craft. Right is a beautiful bar from the 19th century. right is the restaurant that is designed from the original lounge area. the glass window at the far end of the restaurant is great. I sat at a table that was more used to putting a pint than a court. the service was attentive and accurate. I felt it could have been more relaxed, smiling to bring those warmth I enjoy. the food came quickly. the bartons arms offer great games for Thai cuisine. very tasteful. at midday an express dinner is offered. for £10.50 you can order a starter and main. excellent value for money. I could not argue about the quality of eating. I would like to see the courts differently presented. they leave the standard white crockery. what is with about 2 tons fine porcelain. try some variations on the presentation of eating. the bartons arms is a hidden gem in birmingham. a pub I would like to recommend to anyone who visits our humble city. the Thai food it offers is an excellent value for money. some food and service presentation tweaks would make the barton arms to the Thai restaurant of the choice in birmingham."

"I thought the service was first class and you were made to feel comfortable from the moment you sat down. The food was delicious and perfectly presented. Value is good considering the ambiance and restaurant. I would recommend it and I will definitely be going again. Also just a heads up if you decide to go on a Friday make sure it’s with a group of friends or like a bit of loud music. Singer was great but not if you want a quiet one."

"I came here for dinner before going to watch the opera. Upon entering the waiter suggested that I was lucky to gain access to what I could see was an empty restaurant (not a great start I guess it was too exclusive for the likes of me (if some of the staff have an issue with serving the general public then don't offer tables to them . I was then seated and given the drinks menu. I asked a very lovely and welcoming bartender for a drinks suggestion and he suggested a drink which I proceeded to order. Only when the drink was served did I find that the waiter (the one that had greeted me had changed my drink as the sprint used to make the drink was on the pricey side (according to him , he didn't ask me if I wanted it changed, he just assumed I couldn't afford it. After that, I was pretty offended so I paid the bill for the drink I didn't order and left! I remember this day like it was yesterday, never have I been so offended. Never going back there! (Don't judge a book by it's cover!!!"

"We booked Thai Orchid for a family party of six adults before going on to a Concert. It was a Saturday during Celtic Connections so the Restaurant was very busy. "this cozy restaurant offers them a lot of fantastically arranged and a five-star service. I was there for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! the food is very tasty and very presented and I can say that the ingredients are very fresh. fabio and the other staff are professional and very friendly and provide a first-class service. it is worth trying their fried corgettes as well as the gamberoni and of course their pizza, which is only divine! I will definitely go back and try some new antipasti and pasta dishes. the menu has many fabulous options too difficult to choose! highly recommended!"

"First visit, while visiting the area, specifically to see a football match. Had pre-booked a table and was allocated a booth with our own screen, giving an uninterrupted view of the game. We didn't eat so can't comment on the food although the menu looked tempting. The beer was good though. Friendly staff and good atmosphere made for an enjoyable visit. Pity our team lost the football game."

"I have lived 12 months in the neighbourhood and had never eaten from this restaurant. I went past the other day and saw a flyer outside advertising 20% of their first online order (collection or delivery) so decided to go for it. I ordered a few appetisers, a bite and a main dish. a mixture of meat and veg overall I liked to eat. it was quite delicious. the portions are generous. in the nudes was a lot of huh. I have only two smaller critikens, which are that the main dish was a little heavy on the sauce, but because the sauce tasted good, I have nothing to do with it and the fried crispy tofu was a little dry. but overall it was good to eat. 4 stars and I will order again. also I have collected and it was available within 10 15 minutes from my order. friendly staff also. and beautiful decoration inside."

"Limoncello is a small restaurant/cafe/deli in trendy , foodie Mill Road. We had starters and pizza which were very good. Friendly service, authentic food and a good atmosphere. We went on a Friday evening when it was busy and it did take a long time...for the pizzas to arrive but we wanted an evening out not fast food. The menu is quite limited a few starters, some pasta dishes and various pizzas. All very good. If I lived in Cambridge I would make this a regular venue."

"I decided to try the number one voted fish and chips in the area while visiting the UK. I highly recommend the fish and chips, the portion size of the fish they give you is impressive. I was with a vegan eater and the restaurant was able to accommodate them with a veggie burger and chips. While speaking with the staff, they suggested I try the seafood soup, which was delicious. The fish artwork on the walls was interesting to look at while waiting for our food. The restroom was clean and well-maintained, the only downside was that it was located upstairs, but this shouldn't be an issue for most people."
