"I’m willing to spend on a special occasion, but to be charged so much money and be treated so appallingly is unacceptable. I don’t have the energy to detail our terrible experience, but they ruined our dinner with their hostility, rushing us through, and kicked us out while they let everyone else around us (who had been there much longer) eat their meals in peace. "we came here at the beginning of December in a busy night before we went to the cinema. I called earlier to make a reservation for two and asked if we were quickly served to make our movie. we booked for 7pm something earlier than the party bookings. the tables were a little close together. but even if they were busy, we were really served fast and finished in time to go to the cinema for 7.45. the appetizers were excessive for what they were according to my opinion. we ordered a part of the garlic garnel on spits we got four garnels and a diving sauce for about 8 pfu and they tasted nothing. for the net we ordered the crispy sea roast with red curry sauce from the special menu and the prawn yellow curry. the sea roast came as two filets drowned with sauce. it was not fresh. it tasted very fish and was a bit overcooked. the dish was quite dry in a bite. the yellow curry sauce was amazing. the grilled part was generous and there was a lot of extra sauce we used to mask the sea roast on the other plate. it only took a few more sweets in a pot to complete the court. we ordered a part rice and it was quite large enough for two with rest of our food. we had a court next to Roti canai. the roti were delicious. there was not enough sauce for the two rotis so we used the sauce from our curry. overall we have eaten well and made it into the cinema in time. the service was fast and friendly. I'm glad we came to the time we went, there was a snake for tables all over the stairs. when we came back here, we would skip appetizers and order a few different curries and a little extra sweet and enjoy us."

"We were initially seated and given the menu, but we noticed there was no drinks menu. When we tried to order drinks, the server assumed we already knew what we wanted despite not having a drinks menu. We ordered wings that were overcooked, but the shrimp was tasty. Next, we ordered the skewers. The skewers were brought to our table, but we were left to cook them ourselves. When we tried to cut the meat off the skewers, another waiter scolded us and said that the other waiters would have taken care of it for us. Overall, the service was lacking, particularly from the Asian server with glasses. The skewers themselves were delicious, but we experienced better service at a more affordable restaurant."

"Went to Meat Co for my anniversary. There was a hair in my steak. I'm not so much annoyed about this but was more frustrated at the attitude from the Manager. Firstly, she denied that there was a hair making me feel as if I was lying about it. Secondly, they expected my boyfriend to eat his food whilst i watched him for 30 minutes whilst a new steak was cooked. Had to keep pushing for our food to come together, rolled her eyes took all the food and brought back the food altogether. Bad experience on this occasion but have previously had a good experience at this restaurant."

"I thought the service was first class and you were made to feel comfortable from the moment you sat down. The food was delicious and perfectly presented. Value is good considering the ambiance and restaurant. I would recommend it and I will definitely be going again. Also just a heads up if you decide to go on a Friday make sure it’s with a group of friends or like a bit of loud music. Singer was great but not if you want a quiet one."

"I came here for dinner before going to watch the opera. Upon entering the waiter suggested that I was lucky to gain access to what I could see was an empty restaurant (not a great start I guess it was too exclusive for the likes of me (if some of the staff have an issue with serving the general public then don't offer tables to them . I was then seated and given the drinks menu. I asked a very lovely and welcoming bartender for a drinks suggestion and he suggested a drink which I proceeded to order. Only when the drink was served did I find that the waiter (the one that had greeted me had changed my drink as the sprint used to make the drink was on the pricey side (according to him , he didn't ask me if I wanted it changed, he just assumed I couldn't afford it. After that, I was pretty offended so I paid the bill for the drink I didn't order and left! I remember this day like it was yesterday, never have I been so offended. Never going back there! (Don't judge a book by it's cover!!!"

"this cozy restaurant offers them a lot of fantastically arranged and a five-star service. I was there for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! the food is very tasty and very presented and I can say that the ingredients are very fresh. fabio and the other staff are professional and very friendly and provide a first-class service. it is worth trying their fried corgettes as well as the gamberoni and of course their pizza, which is only divine! "I recently moved to the area as a student and would often pass Thai Pad Thai going into town. From the outside it’s a quaint but colourful establishment which is always brimming make sure you book! Our group was welcomed with only smiles and hellos, and even accommodated for a late change to the booking by squeezing an extra chair on the end of the table. The atmosphere was charming with couples and families all dining and enjoying their evening. The extensive menu catered for all palettes and dietary requirements. The food is remarkably presented but the taste was superior to any oriental food I’d tasted in Brighton. An exceptionally good night and we walked out with full bellies and agreeing it was a very memorable place which we shall return to for both takeaway and dine in. Thank you to the whole team for a lovely birthday meal and all the heart that went into the food."

"Not had the pleasure of having a sit down meal in here yet but when I can I always try to pop in for a latte and a ciabatta to take away. The coffee is always of excellent quality and the ciabatta is (particularly the number 3), fresh and hot everytime. The staff are always polite and attentive and everything is very reasonably priced. "The whitebait starter was slightly fishy and had far too much coating on them. The scallops were ok, but what little flavour they had was somewhat masked by the mashed potato. The Dover Sole was over-cooked, which is a crime for the most expendive fish on the menu. The lobster thermador was ok. We had to ask for cutlery. A big disappointment."
