"The staff were pleasant and welcoming. I and my two guests chose the roast beef option. This was very disappointing as it appeared we were served with scraps of meat. I didn't complain at the time to avoid embarrassing my guests, but it was shocking. One redeeming item was the apple crumble served with ice cream which was a good standard. I was also annoyed with the wine choice. We wanted Sauvignon Blanc. The cheaper French one at £28 a bottle was unavailable so we had to go with the New Zealand one at £38! Both options were heavily over priced."

"Warmly welcomed and the team were attentive and personable. The food was disappointing. Cold under cooked fries accompanying overcooked and dry burgers. The wine was reasonably priced however limited choice."

"it was 11 o'clock on a beautiful sunny Saturday, and better off to start my Saturday than with brunch! I was already in the mac and wild business in the city, so I was thrilled to try their Fitzrovia branch. mac and wild gasse their brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 16 o'clock, and I started the brunch in full vibration with a glass buckie royal. the buckie royal is a mix of buck fizz and prosecco, for 18 per person, they can make their brunch a boozy lowerless. to start the brunch, I had a crushed avocado on roasted sourdough bread with chopped eggs and smoked salmon, which is produced in inverawe. the avocado is ripe and is a great combination with the lachs and wings. the salmon used is fresh and pure and tasted with a pepper shaker. I always thought scottish salmon is the best! a must-have from the menu must be the full Scottish breakfast. they cannot come to this authentic Scottish restaurant and not order a complete Scottish breakfast! with Portmahomack-Bacon from Petley-Farm, homemade Tattie-Bone, white pudding, black pudding, mushrooms, lorne sausage, rührei and bone mark beans. the complete Scottish breakfast is certainly different from a full English breakfast, but I love to try out what I have never eaten. I found the Scottish breakfast refreshing with different textures and taste, compared to a full English breakfast, which is usually full of fat. I absolutely loved trying the white pudding, especially when it was immersed in the bone brand bean sauce. also be warned that they are on the spicy side. after about 2 hours of groundless drinking, I would recommend to try their fresh green juice with apples, fennel, gurke and ginger. rich in flavor and antioxidants, this juice is sure to help cure a current or pending crater. the one thing that I love at the fitzrovia filiale is the mood as it is much smaller than the mac and wild in the city is a more intimate feeling, and this twog is great for brunettes and meet with a close or old friend. price: 18 pp for groundless brunch) what to wear: casual I wore a bomber jacket, jeans and fersen) ambiente: friendly staff with relaxed, intimate atmosphere"

"This was my first visit to Harrogate, and I was really in the mood for a tasty burger. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant were inviting, and the staff was efficient and friendly."

"On my second visit, I inquired about ordering the burger cooked to a pinker temperature but was informed that the restaurant is required by Portsmouth City Council to cook it thoroughly."
