"My son and I went to the cozy Bournemouth Noodle Bar on Friday 29.12.23 (located across from Lidl, not to be confused with the one on Lansdowne Road). We are familiar with this restaurant as we used to live nearby for many years. We opted for a set menu, choosing a pork tonkotsu noodle, 2 pieces of sushi, and 2 tempura prawns from a selection of over 20 options. We also ordered a side of cold chilli sauce chicken from the a la carte menu. The noodle soup was delicious, with tender pork and a flavorful soy sauce egg. The sushi was fresh, the tempura prawns were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We appreciated the unique presentation of wasabi in a leaf shape. The chicken dish was also flavorful and had the right amount of spice for our taste. Our cravings were satisfied and the total bill was just under £20. We would recommend this restaurant as it deserves more customers, as it is not located in a high-traffic area."

"A friend recommended this restaurant to me, so I decided to give it a try after a long day of shopping. My first impression was positive - the restaurant was nice and the parking lot was not crowded."

"Probably one of the most disappointing Japanese meals I have ever had. Since I lived in Japan for 20 years, I know what good Japanese food is supposed to be like. The tori karaage almost had no chicken in it and was mostly skin, which I have never seen before. Is this a money-saving measure? Shockingly price at almost eight pounds. Their Japanese sausages while authentic were way too small and overpriced. If you still want to go to Tosa, I would suggest getting the nasu dengaku, which was quite good, and perhaps some yakitori (although this too is overpriced . But the most disappointing part of my Tosa experience started before I even went there. When I called to book a table, I was greeted in a rude manner by the Japanese lady who took my call. Moreover, this same woman was rude when I was in the restaurant. (If you must go to Tosa, talk to the other staff, who are much friendlier. One of the best things about going to a Japanese restaurant outside of Japan is to experience the great service that you would normally receive at many restaurants at Japan, so in this respect Tosa fell far short of my expectations. If you are in west London and have a hankering for Japanese food, go to Kiraku, where the service is far better, even though the menu may currently be less extensive."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"The reason for the two stars is that they served a mediocre meal. The Powerlunch dish consists of brown rice, avocado, pomegranate, and sashimi."

"I have been here before, but not for a while and my dad and I decided to pop in to try the new selection of bonfire drinks. I cannot fault the drink itself as it was very nice (I had the bonfire hot chocolate) however,...I was very put off by the huge amount of flies on the wall and some around the food. We bought this to the attention of one of the colleagues, who said they were aware of the problem and had put some fly spray around before they had opened, however it wasn't very pleasant to have to keep flapping the flies away whilst trying to enjoy our drinks. Further, there was only 3 members of staff working, one who decided to make herself a drink and go on a break despite the huge queue to the door. We were 4th in line, and had to wait 25 minutes for 2 hot drinks, with one lady complaining that her daughter had already finished her iced drink and she was yet to receive her hot one . Disgraceful service really, which isn't good enough for costa."

"Ordered food from Sushi54, having done so a few times before. Having been frustrated by Deliveroo's add on charges, we ordered direct which offers 10% off. Order at 7.30pm and told food would arrive in less than an hour. At 8.35pm, called to ask where food was and we were told they'd had a number of big orders come in (fine, but not our fault or why it should delay our order). At 9pm, still no food called to ask where it was, barely get an apology, let along an offer of discount on this or future orders. My guess is they prioritse Deliveroo orders where you can choose a time frame and other walk in/ direct orders that are big. Not a great way to run a buisness. I do think the sushi is good, but given their behaviour, I don't want ot give them more business."

"Could not fault any part of my experience at this place. Service was helpful and happy without being overbearing or bothersome. Ambience was fantastic and the food was delicious. Well made with quality ingredients and full of flavour I cannot wait to return to this restaurant and sample more of the delights on their menu."

"Hidden gem! Decided to visit this after visiting Tate Modern, and it was a lovely place to go and have lunch. Off the beaten track, but this place has a fun and quirky vibe. The sashimi was a highlight served on ice to keep it tasting lovely and fresh. <br/ <br/ The sweet potato korokke was unsurprisingly delicious (it always is) and the salmon sushi platter was a fun selection that takes you out of your comfort zone, including some of their ‘bombs’. <br/ <br/ The tea was also a fun little touch in this contraption that sits above your cup and pulls the water through. <br/ <br/ All in all, a fun experience with a bit of novelty thrown in!"

"great customer service. I quote. all our foods are freshened during the whole day, they literally prepare the fish of all like they do in Australians and japan. I don't know, many of them will probably see this and wonder why they don't give 4 stars....the deal breaker when I visit and when I see that they prepare to continue the food."

"the personal was amazing that everyone smiled and really woke up. the presentation of foods was really impressive the visualization and plates. Unfortunately, eating was not so big missing aromas and flavors. ramen nudeln looked rather disappointing not sure what kind of noodles, but tasted like the cheapest. the huh katsu was missing, as mentioned above, also the taste. sushi wasn't bad, can't complain, but not so good for the price. I'm glad we tried this restaurant because we were much interested, but I don't think we're back."

"The overall experience was average, not exceeding expectations but not falling short either. The prices were quite high, particularly for a Canadian tourist."
