"it is great to quarter cities that it has brought the brilliant cathedralen district to belfast. It is bad that they tend to forget the amazing place already before their doorstep, which are not in such quarters. so it is with thai village restaurant on the dublin road I just forget. I've been here for six years! I loved it then and I don't know why it took me so long to return, I guess belfast has so many new restaurants today that I have forgotten some of the older ones already in life. the menu is extensive with a whole vegetarian section. we ordered appetizers of deep fried bean curd and herbal tempura with sweet chili and peanut dimmer sauce. main thing were vegetable green thai curry, jungle curry, mushroom salad and steamed rice. eating and the wine (pinot grigio) was fabulous as the service of the beautiful Thai waiting staff. Although we were full, we had to try a dessert and decide for Thai pancakes. we cleaned our tellers!
