"in our first week in Great Britain we have already believed that we have made Asian food home and we were so happy to see the thai exactly in our hotel (etap village). they offered some options of set menu with a complete package from starter to dessert, but it was too big for us. So we decided instead for a la carte. the fried rice was just great. the tom yam suppe served a warm and comforting starter for cold weather outside. the sweet sour chicken was hilly tasty with fresh mixed veggie, and also the very delicate juicy bark mushroom (cank remind you of the names) that selected a total perfection to the whole menu."

Very good Thai restaurant, not too expensive. On the other hand, rather far from the center, go by bus or Uber. The service was perfect, the staff very kind.

Delicious food. Extremely reasonably priced: 40.5 for 1 starter 2 mains and 2 drinks. Staff are extremely pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere is fantastic, music is pleasant and at a reasonable volume. Very peaceful environment for a lovely meal. Overall it was wonderful, would recommend.

I visited Thai Village with a colleague. We had eaten Indian four nights and he wanted a change. The food and restaurant atmosphere was absolutely spot-on. The food is really beautifully flavored and presented. The staff was really friendly and attentive without being overlaid. I'll come back on my next Belfast trip.

As Belfast doesn't yet have a totally veggie restaurant, it feels like a treat when you find a restaurant with a separate veggie menu, as is the case with Thai Village. The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was very good. I would eat here again. I reviewed this restaurant for [hidden link] if you would like to check out my site for more information.

I was at the door before it was opened, I was so hungry. within ten minutes I was sitting, watered and in my starter of thai coconut, red curry mushroom soup.delicious. closely followed by the vegetables roasted rice, again, beautiful. the staff is very attentive and they have a dedicated vegetarian section on the menu that is quite extensive. overall, very good and recommended. £13 for two courses and a drink.

I love this place. The tofu green curry (A Kaeng Kheaw Wan Tao Hoo) and the vegetarian Phad Thai are delicious. They serve a beautiful Tom Phak Gra Tri starter, vegetables in coconut milk and peanut sauce. A great advantage of this restaurant is not only how delicious it is, but the fact that half of the menu is vegetarian. When ordering pad Thai, the waitress was nice enough to ask if I was vegan and if I went to court with egg. I thought it was a nice touch. I'm back several times and I'll get some more. I want to give the restaurant 5 but I can't.

We have made a few visits to Thai Village, but were never so impressed by their vegetarian options, appetizers such as fried tofu and spring rolls are standard fare, while some of the ducks listed under the vegetarian section actually contain fish sauce that we learned after the request. Service was pleasant, and they were able to leave the fish sauce when we demanded it, but we did not find the resulting dishes especially remarkable noodles were oily and sweet and sour vegetables came with a sauce that bought the taste business. Overall, the meal was acceptable, but not among our Belfast favorites.

"enjoyed our evening in james st it was the best culinary experience of our trip! we had been happy to see this evening as we had a few hit-N-seals in the course of our trip to belfast. we were not disappointed and had the fabulous evening. we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the place is beautiful and spacious. revitalized and environment. the bar is great and would like to come back, only for drinks at the bar sometime. we ordered cocktails immediately. an Irish gin negroni and a traditional old fashion. my neger was absolutely excellent. I think the old fashion could have been done with real sugar cubes and not sugar syrup, but it wasn't too bad. we were quick to choose our wein. we chose a beautiful juicy red, the cline, the old vine zinfandel, 2019. to begin we had the ham hock terrine with piccalilli champ bread and some scallops with boar bell. the hanging-hock court was the best ham-hock I had. the homemade piccalilli was something else. really nice crispy and sharp sharp to help cut through the hammock and the champbrot was delicious crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the scallops and black bells were disappointing, as they lacked no salt or genuine aroma or texture between them. we still ate it and shared the rest of my hammock. we both decided to go for the co. tyrone 270g fillet steak with sides of champ and truffle parmesan chips. red wine and pfeffer sauce. they were fantastic steaks. Actually, I didn't think I would finish mine, but I did. I have met the right choice with the jus and the truffle chips. they went so well together, the dryness of the parmesan and sweet, slightly greasy of the jus. the steaks were perfectly cooked. a medium and my medium rare. fantastic aroma on the grilled outside of the steak and beautiful texture when they pierce. we both agreed that the champ was the best champ we ever cost. it was hot, soft, so well aromatized with hot butter on the top of the copper serving pot melt. it was really the most incredible champ. I was too full of dessert. but my sample ordered the sticky toffee pudding sundae. the team was friendly enough to make me an espresso martini that was both decaf and not a sugar syrup. it was brilliant. we both managed to work our way, although a surprisingly light sticky toast desserts on Sunday. the team was fantastic. very friendly and chatting to us. the bar team did not stop, I had the pleasure of standing and watching them make a great selection of drinks and cocktails. the waiting staff were also very friendly when they check in with us at comfortable places to ensure that we were in order. we felt very well looked around. the service was very good, we didn't feel any hurry, it felt like such a free time in this restaurant. when we come back to belfast, we will be back in absolute terms and we will definitely recommend others. Thank you."

"I'm an American. I was invited to work at the queen’s university in a global conference. my airline has moved my baggage, so I stopped in the barking dog to use her wlan to check the status of my baggage and have a drink and a snack with my associate who has unusual allergies. the menu had nothing to call us, so we have decided to finish and move only our drinks./ at no point has anyone informed that it is illegal to have only drinks, and our server ran our review without mentioning any legal requirements. After I paid, someone who I suspect, the manager, came to the table and checked our reception. exactly what I thought was what they said before they cheated on me how it is illegal to buy drinks in a restaurant without eating. I apologised and explained that I had no warning. I offered to buy food retroactive and they refused. then they repeated that I was in a restaurant and not in a pub and that my activities were illegal. they denied my multiple attempts to apologise me while I explained that I am not out of the opposite. this experience was very confusing for me, because the night before me had drinks in a restaurant without food and it was no problem. in any case I was told that there is no such law and that the ordering of drinks without eating in a restaurant is very common. I've never been treated so badly in a customer service dynamic and I'm not sure why this happened. I feel targeted and totally mistreated for what does not seem to be a good reason. To finish it, it was my birthday. complete error in the name of what this person was. I will say the rest of the staff was very pleasant and accommodating."
