"I recently ordered a takeaway from this restaurant through JustEat, spending £70. This was only my second time ordering from them. While we enjoyed our meal the first time, this experience was disappointing. The food I received was incorrect, and when I complained through JustEat, I was given a poor excuse. I ordered 2 portions of satay chicken but received garlic chicken instead. The excuse was that they have their own recipes and cooking techniques, but it seemed like a flimsy excuse to me. The quality of the rest of the meal was also subpar. As a fully qualified chef myself, I believe it is important for businesses to own up to their mistakes and make them right. I will not be ordering from this place again and caution others to think twice before doing so."

"I had a very satisfying experience dining at a Chinese restaurant. The meat was extremely tasty and cooked delicately, and the sauces were delicious. The flavors reminded me of my childhood. I highly recommend this restaurant, and my family and I will definitely be ordering from here again. The service was excellent and the food surpassed most Chinese restaurants I have been to. I particularly enjoyed the salt and pepper fish and would recommend trying the house special fried rice. The only thing I think could use improvement is the sauce for the spare ribs, but overall, everything was delicious. I would recommend trying everything on the menu, especially the seaweed."

"I went to this restaurant for lunch and was extremely disappointed. The place was very small and cramped, with tables placed closely together. I ordered meat spring rolls for a starter but there was not much meat in them, mostly just bean sprouts. For my main meal, I chose sweet and sour chicken and chicken curry. The sweet and sour chicken had very few pieces of chicken and was mostly peppers and onions, while the chicken curry had a watery sauce with a few pieces of chicken, mainly onions. The rice was the only thing that was enjoyable. No one checked in to see if we were enjoying our food, and when I mentioned my disappointment to the waitress, she seemed uninterested and only wanted to quickly get the bill paid. I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"The quality and price at this Chinese restaurant are unbelievable! It's definitely worth mentioning, especially since there is another Chinese restaurant directly across the road. We decided to try Lams and we were very pleased with our choice. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our meal so much that we went back a second time in just ten days, even though we rarely eat takeout. One great feature is that you can see directly into the kitchen from the ordering area, showing how clean it is back there. The restaurant is always busy, which is understandable given the great food. The takeaway restaurant across the road was empty, so we didn't even consider trying it. If you're in the mood for Chinese takeout, look no further than Lams. It's definitely worth a visit."

"Recently moved to Harborough and were looking for a chinese that delivered. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing. Special Hors D’Oeuvres were nice and crisp, the mains were hot and a complimentary portion of prawn crackers to top it all off. Really happy and will be making this our go to. Delicious Just ordered a second meal a month later and it was just as good as the first. We decided on “starter extravaganza” mixed hot d’oeuvres, chi& salt chicken wings and large dumplings asked for curry sauce instead of sweet and sour) from the Chef’s specialties. Everything was amazing. Hot, crisp and very tasty."
