"First off food was good, no complaints. However the service was shocking. We had a booking for 4 people, as this in a tapas style restaurant that meant we ordered around 12-14 dishes. When food started arriving the table was filling up, we asked the waiter if they could hold off in bringing any more out until we had a chance to clear a few dishes. We were told ‘no’, we asked if it was already cooked could the just keep it warm in the kitchen, we were told ‘no’ and told we should speak to the manager. In the space of 5 min all of our ordered items had arrived, table was packed, and food was starting to go cold, this is not the way tapas should be served. The manager came to the table, we informed him what had happened and what we had asked for, he listened but that was it, he may as well have shrugged his shoulders. While the food was good, the service really put us off the restaurant. For clarity this was a Saturday night (9:30pm booking) in early February, the restaurant was not busy with many empty tables visible. From a previous experience of dining there with my partner (similar result of all food arriving at once) we did ask if we could order some dishes and then order more, we were told no, as the kitchen was closing."

"Went to the New Cross to meet some friends that had booked the garden covered floor. I have to say it was such a great decision . Covered heated. Staff is super friendly, pizza is yummy and prices aren't that bad. Cocktails are good and they have a good range of beers. Perfect spot to get together before the night kicks off! I will be coming back for sure!"

"This charming pub is located in the heart of Leicester and offers a fantastic selection of beers and cocktails. The menu is limited but well-crafted. The pub features a variety of seating options, including a cozy sofa area equipped with a fully working GameCube, making it a great spot to visit with friends. It's open late into the night and has a small garden out back for smokers. Additionally, there's a separate space on the upper floor that hosts parties, concerts, and club nights. The pub is situated in the historic former gas offices of Leicester, adding to its unique character."

"Found this place on Tripadvisor as were pretty close by. I had the triple meat roast and my wife had beef. The other two family members who were with us had pork. All of the mentioned roasts came with a huge Yorkshire pudding and we had some crackling in a separate bowl for us all to share. We sat in the terrace outside which is a great sun trap that has an awning that retracts or comes out on request. The beer selection is huge with some great small brewery IPA’s and real ales. We were all very pleased with our food, the service was prompt and all staff very friendly and welcoming. We all agreed that we would be more than happy to return in the future."

"the best brunch place in leeds. we have tried three different dishes and all were cooked with passion perfection. this place is extremely busy, so it is better if you are a table only on a safe side. they have extensive brunch menu, so they are on wide ranges of customers. my personal favorite was chorizo, the sweet kartoffel with chorizo and cherry tomatoes that had more deep on aromen. if they don't know well, then it might be a challenge to find this place as it is located in the shopping center. I will definitely try some more dishes when I go back. btw, they also serve for the day."

"we were really disappointed by the service - the drinks took so long to come that eating arrived first. when the drinks finally came, the alcohol-free drinks (flache diet coke from sirup not a bottle) did not come with ice and then took age. had to ask twice for water for the table that also took forever. Despite Sunday dinner, the ambiente was a “local alcohol” and there was a drunk man who screamed and crossed a chair. eating was very average, with the searettich watered. tischservice was a sweat, two plates were then deleted a third much later and a person was just forgotten. no friendly service only chaos! will not come back!"

"other night was my first time trying their food. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! The delivery was quick and the food was still hot when it arrived.
