"The fish dishes were cooked very well, starters lovely, but some meat dishes included blatantly canned ingredients. Paying a dish, you'd expect most to be fresh. The blood pudding is a must have Drinks-wise, the selection isn't that great, but prices very reasonable The staff are very friendly, but service can be slow. Towards the end of the night, it took a while to get the attention of a server even though there were only three open covers. When we were finally seen to, we were well looked after I've dined here a few times and have to say it's a pretty reliable place with good value, but you do need to dine a few times to figure out what works and what doesn't. Be prepared to wait a little while, too."
