"Normally we have a fantastic meal at Carter and Fitch and have never had a cause to complain however yesterday’s experience was disappointing. The service was slow, drinks order was taken then forgotten about so had to reorder mins later. Food order for Sunday lunch arrived incorrect and the roast potatoes were missing from the plates, when we enquired whether roast potatoes should be included as every other plate around us had them on I was told by the waiter erm I’m not sure I’ll check.... obviously they hadn’t checked as no roasties arrived. What food we did receive was luke warm. Unfortunately yesterday was not good service nor was it good value for money. However hopefully this was just a one off poor experience and won’t put us off from returning again but we may stay clear from peak times in future."

"I understand that this restaurant is located within a hotel, but allowing guests to come to the bar/restaurant in pajamas and casual clothes, while being served multiple shots and often disrespecting themselves, did not create a pleasant experience. There should be a minimum dress code enforced in the evenings, no pajamas or loungewear should be allowed in the restaurant."

"Been once before and really enjoyed it so decided that we was going back for my birthday, the atmosphere was lively and we had good seats. The food was spot on, got plenty for the starters, I had myself the halloumi fries with dip and my partner had wings and we couldn't believe how much you got! We was both feeling full after the starters! We both had the bacon burgers and I had pizza fries and my partner had burger fries, I loved my fries but unfortunately my partner didn't like hers due to the burger fries having mustard on them (could do with explaining what goes on the fries on the menu) bit we both had half our burgers and had to take the rest home as we was both so full. Our waitress was so lovely and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door and even when we was leaving she was polite."

"have been here quite a few times but it has really gone down hill. The burgers are not as nice now they are no longer cooked medium (either that or all of our burgers were over cooked) every thing seems to have shrunk service was really slow in terms of taking orders and bringing drinks etc. Hoping we just got a bad day to be fair its the first time we have been and the food was not up to scratch."

"Overall I was really disappointed with my visit to Craft and Cleaver. It was the first time I 've been and I wouldn 't go again. The service wasn 't great, we asked the waiter to recommend a cocktail and he looked almost offended at the request. When asked what the slushie of the day was he couldn 't answer and just said 'i don 't know but I know it contains raspberry '. The food also wasn 't great, I had the beef and chicken tray which was disappointing. The wings were ok and the buttermilk chicken was nice but really small. The brisket which made up the most of the plate was not good. It was really tough and lacked flavour and brisket should fall apart, I can cook it better myself. It was not worth the money at all."

"On Friday night it was late here and it was GREAT. Chilled Neighborhood Restaurant vibes with the most friendly staff and mediators. The menu is VAST; Pizzas, pasta, pommes, dips and drinks. And the service was really great, friendly and helpful. The pizzas took a little, but we were happy to cool. The food itself was a little salty for my taste! We had the cheeseburger pizza, Mac and cheese, meatballs and roasted chicken. The roasted chicken was the highlight, crispy and moorish, the pasta and pizza was good, but salty and strong, I would go for a little more veg-laden next time. Drink selection was good, we liked the Fritz Softdrinks, loads of Toast beers and a good selection of AF beers. We were too full for Dessert. Go here for the big vibes and all vegan menu, it is popular and small, so book on busy times. At around £50 for the load of food and plenty of drinks for two, prices are also aok. "Came for Sunday roast, pub looked gorgeous haven’t been in winter yet, really nice Christmas decorations and candles out, felt very warm and welcoming which is hard in a glass room and they’ve done it perfectly service was also very warm and friendly. We ordered a vegan Wellington roast and the Chicken both delicious along side some yummy festive mulled wine which just makes a room smell amazing as well. Just felt like a really nice cosy friendly atmosphere very chilled and easy going but busy at the same time. Perfect for staying local on a Sunday."

"excellent restaurant helped, not that it needs to be through its beautiful environment next to the cathedrale. it's not the first time that I had eaten here, and that was eating until the usual excellent standard. could not give him a clear view of the 5* table, as it was a bit cool and understandable, as it was one of the coldest days of the year and the fuel prices are what they are. would recommend it thoroughly and come back in the near future."
