"I understand that this restaurant is located within a hotel, but allowing guests to come to the bar/restaurant in pajamas and casual clothes, while being served multiple shots and often disrespecting themselves, did not create a pleasant experience. There should be a minimum dress code enforced in the evenings, no pajamas or loungewear should be allowed in the restaurant."

"Been once before and really enjoyed it so decided that we was going back for my birthday, the atmosphere was lively and we had good seats. The food was spot on, got plenty for the starters, I had myself the halloumi fries with dip and my partner had wings and we couldn't believe how much you got! We was both feeling full after the starters! We both had the bacon burgers and I had pizza fries and my partner had burger fries, I loved my fries but unfortunately my partner didn't like hers due to the burger fries having mustard on them (could do with explaining what goes on the fries on the menu) bit we both had half our burgers and had to take the rest home as we was both so full. Our waitress was so lovely and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door and even when we was leaving she was polite."

"have been here quite a few times but it has really gone down hill. The burgers are not as nice now they are no longer cooked medium (either that or all of our burgers were over cooked) every thing seems to have shrunk service was really slow in terms of taking orders and bringing drinks etc. Hoping we just got a bad day to be fair its the first time we have been and the food was not up to scratch."

"Overall I was really disappointed with my visit to Craft and Cleaver. It was the first time I 've been and I wouldn 't go again. The service wasn 't great, we asked the waiter to recommend a cocktail and he looked almost offended at the request. When asked what the slushie of the day was he couldn 't answer and just said 'i don 't know but I know it contains raspberry '. The food also wasn 't great, I had the beef and chicken tray which was disappointing. The wings were ok and the buttermilk chicken was nice but really small. The brisket which made up the most of the plate was not good. It was really tough and lacked flavour and brisket should fall apart, I can cook it better myself. It was not worth the money at all."

"Went to the New Cross to meet some friends that had booked the garden covered floor. I have to say it was such a great decision . Covered heated. Staff is super friendly, pizza is yummy and prices aren't that bad. Cocktails are good and they have a good range of beers. Perfect spot to get together before the night kicks off! I will be coming back for sure!"

"My partner and I visited at the end of October for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We had burgers, the 'celebration of apple, ' and pumpkin pie (which I believe is not a usual menu item but was special for autumn/October/Halloween). Everything was fantastic, honestly. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and patient! We arrived about 45 minutes earlier than our booked time, because we were in town for just one day and it was too cold to keep walking around outside. We expected to be asked to wait, but they went ahead and set up the table for us, telling us that it just would be a while before we 'd be able to order due to a nearly full house. I have only two possible downsides. (1) if you don 't like a 'meaty ' veggie burger, the burgers may not be for you (I wouldn 't order it again, though it was still good), (2) they would benefit from having a selection of mocktails! I believe they have low alcohol beer but no totally alcohol free cocktails (or other mock alcohols), which surprised us because it seemed like a place that would do them. There are plenty of nonalcoholic drink options, but having a mushroom tea or a milkshake is a different vibe from having a fruity martini! One of us cannot have alcohol, and we were celebrating, so it would have been nice to have a drink together. Overall, I completely recommend it to any vegan, vegetarian, normative omnivore, etc anyone looking for some good food in a good atmosphere. Also, best pumpkin pie I have EVER had. And I 'm American by birth I 've eaten a lot of pumpkin pie."

"Finally dined in here late on a Friday night and it was GREAT. Chilled neighbourhood restaurant vibes with the friendliest staff and fellow diners. The menu is VAST; pizzas, pasta, fries, dips and drinks. And the service was really great, friendly and helpful. Pizzas took a little while but we were happy chilling. The food itself was a little salty for my taste! We had the cheeseburger pizza, mac and cheese, meatballs and fried chicken. The fried chicken was the highlight, crispy and moorish, the pasta and pizza was good, but salty and strong, I’d go for something more veg-laden next time. Drinks selection was good, we liked the Fritz soft drinks, loads of Toast beers and a good range of AF beers too. We were gutted to be too full for dessert. Go here for the great vibes and all vegan menu, it’s popular and small so book ahead at busy times. At around £50 for loads of food and ample drinks for two, prices are aok too. "We came for Father's Day and were placed in the Euros area, which was an odd choice but not a problem as not too loud. All 3 roasts were pretty good though over priced at £18 £20 IMO. Desserts took ages to arrive, which was odd given they clearly weren't made from scratch. I had to return my profiteroles as they were hard as in stale, or perhaps heated then left out, not frozen. The replacement was a kids' size brownie so we asked for service to be removed at the end, which tbf they did. All in all, a rather uninspiring experience with pretty basic service. This place is probably good for pizza as that's their signature thing and it's a pretty chilled place to hang out with kids, but despite inflated prices and a location in the heartland of gastro pubbery, it doesn't seem to aspire to be anything great."
