"we have visited the Thai place several times before and always had a wonderful service and great eating and drinking. Previously there was an amazing cocktail menu and the personal was always so friendly and welcoming. at this opportunity we were very disappointed to find that the beverage menu was very reduced only 4 cocktails and 2 of them were not available) . the atmosphere in the restaurant was not the same as we visited before and the 2 employees seemed uninterested. the food was as always, amazing! full of taste and beautifully presented so that we enjoy our meal, but the evening overall was not the one we were <br looking forward . I would still recommend Thai place, since I hope our visit this time was a way out and that when we dine there again, the dinge again, as they always used to <br be ."

"I used to be a loyal patron, but I was quite disappointed when I paid £9 for a rice dish that only had 2 prawns. It felt like I could have easily prepared it at home for much less. I mentioned my concerns when I ordered 3 dishes, specifically asking for a decent amount of prawns, and I was assured they would meet my request. Unfortunately, they didn 't follow through on their promise. My daughters and I used to frequent this place, but this experience has led us to reconsider our choice. I understand your concern, and I appreciate your apology for not meeting the expected standard in your prawn dishes. It 's reassuring to know that your prawn dishes should include 4 king prawns, and it may have been an unintentional mistake. However, I won 't email you to resolve this issue. I 've experienced this problem multiple times, with the most recent occurrence just a few days ago when my daughter and I ordered the same dish, and the prawns were once again insufficient. While one mistake can be forgiven, a total of 5 incorrect dishes within a week suggests a recurring issue. We value our hard-earned money just as much as you do, and we hope for better experiences in the future. This experience has left us with no choice but to say, NEVER AGAIN."

Coming from Vietnam and staying in London for a while slash knowing how to cook quite well, I strongly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for real Vietnamese food. I had Hue-style noodles, nem (spring rolls), papaya salad and jasmine iced tea and all of them were fantastic. Also, the sitting area is also cozy and the service is really fast and friendly. "I have visited the Thai square in fulham, south kenignton, but my favourite place is in putney brigde, meal after the sun is down through the rvier is simply stunning. services never disappoint that these young are very friendly and attentive - always, thank you. but the quality of food was really not the same. I dare to say without taste. too salty, my seafood hot dish for 17£ was not enough of everything. it wasn't as good as ever! our bill was up to now about 80-90 for a delicious dinner with the desert and we take quite exactly the same dishes each time. our bill without desert comes to £140. I've been disappointed!"

"the eating is average! thai green curry huhn was old and not fresh, the huh tasted old. the bark was overtaken and disappointing. the pad thai was decent, but in the season was missing. overall I was dissatisfied with eating and the surprise service fee was overwhelming. the service fee would pay if it actually service from the waiter and waiter. the food was delivered to our table without care. 12.5% service fee is extorted. I didn't pay for this due to the overall experience. I doubt I'm coming back here."

"It’s the second time I came to Nem Nem and service /food have gone downhill like a Chinese rocket. The place was empty and they didn’t serve cocktails (they could have informed us beforehand! . The waiter cleared our table without checking if we had finished (and no we haven’t finished our food!!!! ! That was simply rude and unprofessional esp the restaurant wasn’t busy and it’s not like we are hanging around for 3hrs. There are plenty of authentic Vietnamese restaurants in shoreditch at much better value. I can only wish them luck."

"Been coming here for quite some time and no mater how many times I eat here, I never get bored of the menu. I've eaten at many other Thai restaurants in south east London and none have compared, food wise, as good as this place. It's quite disguising as its doesn't look like the most wowing or busiest from the outside BUT don't be mislead. There's a nice local relaxing atmosphere and the food appears very fresh! every time I've sat in there the Deliveroo cyclers are flowing in and out. Price maybe slightly above average and starters could be a bit better value for money but for authenticity and quality after my trips to Thailand, this place is the one! Highly recommend if you're in the area."

"Came here for dinner and the customer service was horrendous. We were ignored for a while and stood around waiting, despite several staff members walking past and making eye contact with us (no one was standing at the concierge reception desk). Then we were sent to the bar area to wait DESPITE having a reservation. They then proceeded to keep us waiting for a further minutes they only came to get us when I asked for the manager himself (clearly they had forgotten about us The manager then proceeded to question our booking saying it didn’t exist. I showed them proof of a confirmation email, which I received yesterday, to which the manager said ‘the booking is for tomorrow’ he didn’t even read the date which said it was for today. Bare in mind the restaurant was not that busy at all! There were several empty tables and despite this we were kept waiting. I’ve worked in customer service so I know when the staff do not care about their customers and that was evident right here. I am highly disappointed as what was meant to be a great night had an awful start thanks to Patara. Will never be coming back here. No food is worth the disrespect. It’s always disappointing when you’re rushing to make your booking on time, so as to not delay the restaurant but the restaurant couldn’t care less about seating you on time. And then they had the gall to add service charge to my bill! After the awful service!"

"Terrible experience I’m afraid. I have used this restaurant many times before but this time was a disaster. We ordered our food at 18:25 and nothing had arrived by 19:00. The tables either side of us ordered at the same time and had already had their food delivered. We asked the waiter for the status of our order. I think he had forgotten to order it. He didn’t get back to us so we escalated our query to a gentleman in a suit who appeared to be a manager of some sort. He said he had ordered it and asked the kitchen to prioritise the order. Admittedly it was a busy evening before a Chelsea home game. By 19:20 when no food had arrived we walked out to grab a pie and burger at Stamford Bridge. Not what our taste buds had prepared themselves for!!"
