"We just moved to the area and had a couple of nice evening meals so booked to bring my daughter who had just had a baby for lunch. The price was the same as the evening and the food was terrible, my daughter always has spaghetti Bolognese as she says its best in an Italian restaurant. She gave me a bit to taste and it seemed like it had been cooked several times before. The pesto pasta with pine nuts I had was tasteless and no nice toasted pine nuts on top, in fact I couldn’t see any at all, it was very disappointing after I had told my daughter and partner how good it was. They had made an effort with decorating the table and the people are lovely but I think I probably won’t go back."

"The pasta here was fantastic, with plenty of choices available. They also served homemade bread with oil, which was a nice touch. My only complaint was that the dish was quite salty. Additionally, while everything was homemade, including the bread and pasta, the cheese used was just grated Violife. This was a bit disappointing, as I expected vegan mozzarella and hoped for something more artisanal. Despite this, I would definitely come back. Overall, it's a great new addition to the vegan scene!"

"Was looking for a bit to eat whilst visiting Bude came across this small cafe/deli and saw that they were dog friendly. Enjoyed a cappuccino and hot chocolate in a lovely atmosphere the owner was very chatty with all the people in the cafe. We shared a pizza for our lunch which was tasty and crispy. It was obviously a bought in base which was a shame the coffee was not as strong as I like but that’s personal taste."

"Cafe 12 is absolutely amazing. My partner and I visited yesterday and the service from Andre and his lovely host (sorry, I can't remember your name) was exceptional. This is the kind of local cafe that you want to support. We both ordered the lasagna, which was delicious and came in a generous portion. Andre, the owner, even brought us some fresh pesto that he had made himself. As we were enjoying our meal, he asked if we liked spicy food, and despite our confusion as our food was already there, Andre brought us a complimentary plate of chili carne to share. It was honestly the best chili I've ever had in my life, and he even took lots of pictures of us. The dishes featured fresh ingredients that I had never tried before, like green tomatoes, green peppercorns, and fresh scotch bonnet sauce. Everything was impeccable. Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning!"

"I was very disappointed with how the waitress handled my feedback about a piece of my chicken tempura being undercooked at the restaurant. Despite enjoying the rest of the meal, I felt it was important to bring it to their attention. When I informed the waitress, she dismissed my concerns by saying "the chef said it's just veins", without offering an apology. I explained that it wasn't just veins, especially since my pregnant girlfriend was sharing the meal with me and I didn't want anyone getting sick. The waitress seemed unable to respond appropriately and even seemed to take my feedback personally. There was no offer to remove the item from the bill or any further apologies. Despite enjoying the main course, the waitress continued to behave strangely towards us. In the end, I caught her giving me a dirty look and it was clear that our experience had not been positive. I had already decided not to return to the restaurant, but we only went back because we had an itison voucher. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and service did not meet our expectations and it seems that the restaurant's reputation has declined. The promotions from itison should have been a warning sign."

"We went off the cuff for our tea on a Sunday around 6pm. We didn't get starters, just main and dessert. Mains, carbonara and spaghetti and meatballs. Carbonara was lovely, nice portion too. My dessert was fudge cake and ice-cream, warmed, cake was over done in microwave so all fudge melted away from cake, and cake ended up a bit dry, the ice-cream was cheap vanilla. My partner han meatballs which again was nice and good portion. His dessert was apple and blackberry crumble, came in a small pot, the apple was nice he said, but the crumble was anything but, I tried a bit and it was soggy and thick, looked like it was uncooked and soggy pastry almost, nothing crumbly about it, and I've made various crumbles and eaten a few over the years, this was the worst. We had 1 cold drink each. This came to around 50 pounds. The service was ok, one young male staff was so slow in his movements around , also no eye contact on serving our dessert, the other staff were ok so overall reasonable. Did not complain about desserts just left nearly all of them on the plate. I would go again for the pasta but no dessert ."

"We visited here specially for their lunchtime deal which is valid up to 5pm. It is really good value for what you get. We had 2 courses which were really tasty and flavourful that cost £12.90. For starters, we had the potato skins which were served with a pot of sour cream which were good and the garlic pizza bread with mozzarella which was really good! The dough was really soft and fluffy. It also had plenty of garlic and mozzarella on top which made for a really delicious starter! I highly recommend that! We then ordered our pizzas for our main. The pepperoni pizza was really moist and had lots of pepperoni. Again, the dough was soft, light, and airy with lots of flavour! The portion sizes are very good, I definitely left full. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The serving team were also friendly and pleasant. I would definitely return again. Tasty food with good portions at good prices!"

"Having trouble finding a dining spot in Narberth, we ventured further out and stumbled upon this hidden gem. This cozy pub offers great prices, incredibly friendly staff, and delicious food. Our party of six, including two children, enjoyed a variety of dishes. The steaks were cooked perfectly and came with tasty sauces. The chef's high standards were evident as one steak was remade before it even reached our table. The two gammons were fantastic, and the kids loved their pizza and scampi. Everyone raved about the homemade chips. For dessert, we indulged in a delectable treacle sponge with custard, a massive Eaton Mess Sunday loaded with ice cream and homemade meringue, and some more ice cream for the kids. All of this was offered at a great price. If we were staying longer than a week, we would definitely return for another meal."

"A couple of times now I have seen Thyme Restaurants give you a sense of disbelief if you haven't booked your table and then have the audacity to say it's about a 10 minute wait to get a seat. I'm not sure what they are trying to prove or if they are suggesting the kitchen staff are not up to capacity. I had to ask twice when my table would he ready after the overdue wait despite it being empty. I stop at a lot of premier inns and I think think the Brewers Fayre is the best experience and menu. I'm struggling to think of something positive. I would recommend finding somewhere else to eat if you want quicker service, not sure why several people are being turned away, doesn't make business sense to me."

"Had breakfast and followed up with stopping by for a takeaway dinner. Fortunately we got to breakfast before all the local tradesmen arrived at 9:30. When we left they were lined up out the door! Very small with tables down stairs. Order at the counter, go down to get a table, they bring down your order and pay when you leave. We both had a ham and cheese omelette which was delicious and filling. Coffee was excellent. We wanted to eat dinner in so stopped by later and got 2 orders of spaghetti and meatballs delicious but we should have only ordered one as the serving was huge. But leftovers are ok too! What a find not much on the outside but when all the locals are lined up you know it has to be good and a great value."

"I visited La Dolce Vita today with my 4 year old son. The layout and atmosphere is lovely. Itallian music playing in the background, amazing scents of garlic and fresh herbs authentic home cooked food! The menu is great and offers a large variety...of meals that are reasonable in price. I ordered the Smoked Haddock Risotto from the specials menu and my son, a Peperoni Pizza. Both were delicious... even though my sons eyes were a bit too big for his belly! Haha. The staff were more than happy to box up the rest of his Pizza for him to take home and he was over the moon. Smiles all round! The coffee menu was good and the Cappuccino was lovely. Just what I needed on a rainy day. My son ordered a Strawberry Milkshake which came with fresh whipped cream on top. The only downside is that they are a cash only restaurant. However there is a cash machine a few stores down so not a major inconvenience. All in all, a very lovely visit and we will be returning again soon. Thank you for bringing a little slice of Italy to Bury."

"I always enjoyed dining at Prezzo. I have never tried their pizzas (although they always look delicious) because I am a huge fan of their spaghetti bolognese and spaghetti and meatballs. These dishes are rich, aromatic, and consistently satisfying. During my recent visit, I started with an appetizer of baked mushrooms filled with grana padano, mozzarella, garlic, herbs, and breadcrumbs. While I expected the mushrooms to be larger due to the numerous ingredients, they were actually quite small. However, they were absolutely delicious. The food at Prezzo is always beautifully presented, much like the restaurant itself and the staff. I was offered additional cheese, salt, and pepper with my meal, as well as a sample of wine before deciding on a bottle. Prezzo is a restaurant that truly caters to the needs and preferences of their customers."

"Booked for a party of 7 for our sons 16th birthday and have to say we were really disappointed. Even thought it wasn't very busy, service was so slow it took 20 mins to get drinks. We ordered based on what we were told was available but after waiting about 25 mins we were asked to change our order because there was limited availability on a starter a few of us had chosen, the re order got completely mixed up and after a further 15 mins we were offered the wrong food. twice! and then asked if we were sure about what we'd ordered!!. From being seated at about 7.10 pm we were still waiting for mains at 9 pm. More disappointment, lasagne was cold and had to be sent back and only 6 out of 7 arrived. There was about another 15/20 minute wait for the last main, ribs, which were swimming in orange grease and served with fries literally just a small rack of around 12 greasy ribs and a portion of fries £19.99?! . My biggest issue is with the service though, especially on what was supposed to be a special occasion. With several tables complaining and some leaving, it was clear that the servers and the manager had just given up trying really, all except the girl behind the bar who offered the only sincere apology of the night. We ended up staying for desserts which weren't bad to be fair but we only stayed because we'd got vouchers to use and knew we'd wouldn't be coming back anytime soon. The manager adjusted the bill to compensate us but definitely do NOT recommend this place based on our experience."

"We were there the Saturday before Christmas and it was busy with both small and large groups. On arrival we were shown straight to a table. The service was attentive and the food arrived in good time, we weren't made to feel rushed at all. For starter I had fritto misto, white bait, calamari and prawns, chap had butterflied King prawns in garlic, for mains I had salmon, chap had spaghetti and meatballs. Good portion size and absolutely delicious and all washed down with a very pleasant house white wine. As luck would have it there was a singer, he performed mostly modern songs and some classics. It was quite noisy but not so loud we couldn't hear each other. Lively place with a lovely atmosphere."

"We came last minute really however we did call an hour before. This is a lovely little restaurant tan by owners by the looks of it. We chose bread and olives to share, the olives were so tasty, followed by a seafood Gambetetti pizza and cheesecake. Coffee was good. Food and service is outstanding."
