"We celebrated our anniversary with a meal in Lancaster, and we were not disappointed. To be honest, we usually visit Frankie and Benny's every week for our indulgent meals since it’s our local spot. The waiter was really funny, and the manager was very pleasant. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, while my partner chose fish and chips. I was sad that I couldn't finish my meal because it was such a large portion, but we both enjoyed our dishes. For dessert, they initially brought the wrong item for my partner, but they quickly corrected it. I had the keksteig and karamellsonne, and my partner had the vanilla cheesecake with salted caramel sauce, both of which we absolutely loved. Additionally, we received 50% off through the app, which made it even better, especially with those generous portions!"

"I celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Frankie and Benny's after another restaurant wouldn’t allow for a mascot or any of the party elements I had planned. They immediately agreed to accommodate everything, and my little girl had a fantastic birthday. We made quite a mess, but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to fully enjoy her special day. I want to give a special shoutout to Jenny and Gemma for their exceptional service. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere for a children's party. Thank you!"

"Interesting visit. Firstly, we experienced no problems due to Coronavirus or the Eat out to help out . No difficulties with their safety processes, or having to wait for food. All the front of house staff were great, attentive and friendly. The food...it was VERY hit miss...the ribs, the chicken (breast, wings Southern Fried) was lovely. The fries were gross, like little splinters of balsa wood. We always have a side of fries with any meal, and the side of fries tonight was untouched, along with most of the fries with our respective meals. The steak that came with my 'Ultimate Grill ' was the most God-awful piece of meat I 've ever had put before me!!! They gave me a steak knife that struggled to cut the meat!!! In the main i dont really fully blame the kitchen, obviously they dont source the food, they just cook what they are sent, whether that be cheap and nasty frozen chips, or cheap nasty cuts of rump steak...but...I 'd still like to think that someone in the kitchen should be attempting some kind of quality control over what goes out... Not a completely ruined night, but for £80 spent, i expect better."

"My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time in two weeks. The first time we went, the service was not great and the waiter made mistakes with our orders because they didn't speak English well. However, on our second visit, we were able to use a voucher that we hadn't been able to use before. The service was better and faster this time. The food was tasty, although my partner's crab dish was still frozen in the middle and had to be sent back. When it finally came out, it was delicious. This restaurant may not be the best choice for a quiet evening out, as there were always children dining and it could get quite noisy."

"It was just next to theatre...offered us discount with our movie tickets...we ordered kid meal for our younger one and he was very happy with his garlic bread, spaghetti, lemonade, waffle, French fries. For ourself, veg pasta was sufficient. Overall good experience!"

"the new vegan menu is wonderful! pizzas, soupen, hot dogs, burger, mac n cheese, garlic bread pizza, vegan mayo, ice...so much choice! really recommend the kansas city pizza the mac no cheese (cauliflower butternut squash sauce) is quite a small part, so it would be as one side to another dish, but not alone. update feb 2021: the beet burger with fried aubergine is amazing! oreo cake was also delicious. it tasted as if it had been made with whipped cream."

"Came in for a meal after a trip to trafford Centre. Really fast service, nice food, decent prices. Kids meals are a very generous size, even the smaller bites! Love that they gave kids colouring sets and also really liked that steak was on the kids menu, I’ve got a 5 year old who is a huge fan of steak but normally can’t order it as a child. Only thing I didn’t like was the strawberry and lime ice cream cake because it tasted like a frozen cheesecake but that’s down to personal preference. "I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask , the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep it up, guys!"

"The appetizers were excellent, but the main courses were just average. I mentioned it was a birthday celebration when booking, but the restaurant did not have the online booking information. When we arrived, I informed the receptionist about the birthday, but they seemed unaware. The waiter seemed busy throughout our meal, and the birthday candle only arrived after we had finished everything."

"Came here for my grans birthday a few weeks ago, admittedly, I was unimpressed by the interior. However, that was straight out mind the second that our server, Emily, attended to us. There could not have been a greater example of “service with a smile”. She had no problem giving recommendations based on our own personal preferences, and catered to our every need. "My husband and I visited the restaurant today at 5pm and were seated promptly since it wasn't busy. However, we had to wait 10 minutes to place our order for two coffees and two waffles. It took 20 minutes for the coffee to arrive and another 35 minutes for the waffles. Despite the coffee being okay, the waffles were cold and extremely chewy. The dish consisted of three pieces of waffle, half a scoop of ice cream in a small bowl that only covered one section of waffle, and a small jug of syrup. We were truly disappointed with the quality of the food and felt like we should have lodged a complaint as we were unhappy with what we paid for. While waiting, I observed the chef slamming a plate down and leaving the order slip on top of the food for 8 minutes before a waitress took it away. We have visited Frankie and Benny's many times in the past and have always been satisfied, but this time we were very disappointed."

"My partner and I decided to dine at this restaurant tonight because we were impressed by the cozy atmosphere, stylish design, and tasteful music. The service was excellent, although at times there was a longer than usual wait for the bill. However, with the option to pay using the tableside payment app, we were able to avoid waiting for too long. The drinks were fantastic, although on our last visit in November, I was unable to have alcohol as I was 9 months pregnant. I requested a milkshake made with a milk alternative, and although they didn't have milkshakes or other dairy-based drinks available, they were able to accommodate my request by offering a delicious mocktail instead. Our go-to order is always the chicken and rib combo, and on one occasion when I received a chicken leg instead of a breast, they kindly replaced it without any fuss. Overall, we have always had a great experience dining here and have never encountered any issues with our orders."

"I went to Frankies and Bennys for dinner tonight. I was not impressed with the food or the service. We ordered the same main meals, but one portion was larger than the other. One of our meals was very dry and lacked sauce and meat. The service was poor, as the staff did not inquire about our meal satisfaction. Most of the staff were chatting by the open kitchen bar. When serving our food, they did not ask if we needed anything. When I asked for cheese, it took longer than expected for someone to bring it. I have dined here many times before without any issues, but I was disappointed with the meal and service this evening."

"Booked a table for 5.30 so it wasn’t busy for a birthday meal only 2 adults 2 kids had a garlic pizza and potatoe skins for starters the main food was served a while later most of it was on verge of cold sent chicken back as was not hot got a newly reheated one! Expensive chicken meal thin dry bit of chicken with bacon on it Chips were only slightly warm kids pasta was not hot only the meatballs had a bit of steam bad meal will never return should of been piping hot when served to the table must of been cooked with the starters and sat on side for 15 minutes awful meal and wasn’t cheap won’t be returning no wonder the restaurant was empty only good thing was the staff were polite"

"Made a booking for 7pm as wasn’t sure how busy it would be and didn’t want to be turned away. Arrived 6.50pm and taken straight to table. 7pm drinks order taken. 7.20pm food order taken. Meal didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was great and just what we ordered however the long wait ruined the enjoyment. It looked like a lot of take away orders were being prioritised above sit ins which is a disappointment. We had made the effort to attend in person and would have gladly spent more money here but the wait put us off. I wouldn’t rush back here and I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends as I wouldn’t want them to be disappointed. Sad to think that higher management may see a decline in footfall and close store because of this but the truth is people do wish to visit for a sit in meal but the poor service is off putting."

"Came today and received great service, was a short wait on food, but not incredibly bad. It was very busy and had a great atmosphere for families, we sent the kids over to the barman who was running back and forth with drinks orders to blow them some balloons up and he did it with no bother, what a true gent! "We attended this Frankies after having positive experience in other venues. We were greeted extremely well and showed to a table . The restaurant was empty other than the staff (9.00am ish). After ordering the door arrived very quickly and we started to eat. The...food has definitely been sitting under heat lamps for some time and was dry and hard to cut. My husband and I discussed that although we were happy pay for the food we should say something to the management team as this really was not how food in a very quiet restaurant should be presented. We told the manager our thoughts and all explained we were still happy to pay but thought they should know. The manager was very polite and offered us a free coffee and a discount on the food. It was handled very professionally and with a smile. Unfortunately I doubt we I’ll return after this experience and try another outlet at the airport. Training needed for the (chef) cooks."
