"I saw this place when I was on a trip to Chester, chips looked delicious and had a wide range of sauces and decided to try. Wow these chips were the best I’ve had in my life!! I only ordered a regular but the girl who served me was lovely and gave me a good serving, filled my chips right to the top, amazing value for money. The blue cheese dip was legendary, I’ve always wanted to try blue cheese dip but I’ve never saw it in England before, definitely exceeded my expectations. Would definitely be here all the time if there was one local to me, it’s a shame I live in Manchester! Loved the food and service!"

"I have visited many Indian restaurants, but I can confidently say that this is one of the worst restaurants I have ever seen. While it may deceive some foreign customers, it did not fool me. The chicken biryani, which they sell for £3, is flavorless, likely because it seems to be reheated from a batch made at the beginning of the week. The staff even asked if I wanted it cold—who wants biryani cold?! The samosa was lukewarm, but after reheating it, it was passable, although not impressive. The roti was bland and falling apart, disappointing to say the least. As for the lassi, it was the worst I have ever tasted, resembling a concoction of milk, sugar, and yogurt blended without care. The kitchen lacks hygiene practices, with staff not using gloves or hairnets—I even saw a worker handling my samosa with wet hands. While the prices are relatively cheap, the quality of the food does not justify even that. I have shared pictures to support my criticisms and will not be returning to this establishment. To the owner: I am willing to pay more for better-quality food. This experience was an insult to Pakistani/Indian cuisine."

"We stumbled upon this restaurant without much knowledge about it, but we were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant has a cozy and chic interior, making it a great place for friends or a date. We ordered 5 dishes to share and each one was amazing. The falafel was particularly outstanding. I will definitely be back soon."

"I gave it a five-star rating because of their consistently fast delivery. My order was supposed to arrive between 6:45 and 7:05 PM, but it came early, at 6:43. My dad and I both enjoyed the food we received - my peri peri wrap was delicious and the cheesy chips were fantastic. The cheesy cream jalapeno bites were not as impressive, but I took a chance on them since I had never tried them before. Overall, I recommend ordering from Chicken Valley."

"Never eating here again. Chicken burgers had half a fillet each, they put the stalk of the tomato in my burger. Very careless. Chicken was dry like it had been reheated. They wanted to charge extra £2 for a sprinkle of peri salt! Very stingey. My local chicken cottage in Slough is really good and fresh. But this was SO disappointing."

"I ordered breakfast from this restaurant through Deliveroo, with a scheduled delivery time of 10:15 am. However, when my order did not arrive by 10:30 am, I called the restaurant and was informed that there were no available drivers and I would need to request a refund. This lack of communication and organization is completely unacceptable - I should have been notified of the issue with the drivers before placing my order. Had I known, I could have ordered from a different restaurant instead of waiting for an hour. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Fortunately, I was able to contact Deliveroo and receive a full refund of £27."

And the phone we ordered on informed us that our food would arrive at 7:30 pm gmt And we waited . Fast forward the clock strikes 7:30 no sign of our food. Fast forward even further to 8:10 pm and still no sight of our food so we check the phone we ordered on and it has been pushed back to an 8:30 delivery time an hour After we were told it would arrive and 1:30 hours after we ordered. Me and my home boys were starving. Disgraceful. Truly disappointed, me and the crew have eaten there before and it was splendid but this time food was cold when it got here. "I also remember when Himalaya was a veggie cafe. It was removed for a. Short while and I asked Eric why. The vegetarian status just wasn't working for them which is a shame. I was in before a gig on a saurtday evening and it was pretty busy with about a 50/50 split with veg and neat customers. It does have a veggie menu and there are several vegan options. It was a little chaotic, in a nice way. I had a thali which had a chickpea curry, a veg curry and a dhal. A side saldnwith olives was a little off. The tahli was great, the veg curry a little oily but still all three were good. It was great value for the portion size and they have a good lunch deal with ten thali. There are better Indian options close by, but if you want a chilled cafe rather than a restaurant this is a good choice."
