"Have eaten at this institution a few times. As an American studying abroad, it is comforting to be able to grab some really solid American BBQ even here in Cambridge. The works platter is a great way to get a bunch of options to share. The sandwiches and hot dogs are also quite tasty. For me the chicken wings were the absolute star of the show. They're crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and well-seasoned; the selection of great sauces to pair them with also helps. Some nearby institutions that have absolutely garbage wings (cough cough Honest Burger) could learn a thing or two from Smokeworks. I'm also a fan of the slaw and milkshakes here. There's really so many awesome options here which make it a great place to keep going back to. Also a fan of the technology they have going to get the waiters' attention. The service was friendly everytime I've gone. This is no doubt one of my favorite restaurants in all of Cambridge!"

"Despite making a reservation, we had to wait over an hour for our food. The music at the Moda bar on the floor was excessively loud. The staff seemed overwhelmed and ineffective. Overall, our experience was negative and we will not be returning."

"I was thrilled to discover that a new Giraffe restaurant had opened in Swindon, and even better, it is conveniently located next to Tesco. This way, we could do our shopping after enjoying a meal."
