"Have eaten at this institution a few times. As an American studying abroad, it is comforting to be able to grab some really solid American BBQ even here in Cambridge. The works platter is a great way to get a bunch of options to share. The sandwiches and hot dogs are also quite tasty. For me the chicken wings were the absolute star of the show. They're crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and well-seasoned; the selection of great sauces to pair them with also helps. Some nearby institutions that have absolutely garbage wings (cough cough Honest Burger) could learn a thing or two from Smokeworks. I'm also a fan of the slaw and milkshakes here. There's really so many awesome options here which make it a great place to keep going back to. Also a fan of the technology they have going to get the waiters' attention. The service was friendly everytime I've gone. This is no doubt one of my favorite restaurants in all of Cambridge!"

Smokeworks is a rather unassuming restaurant, tucked away from the main bars and split across two small but well set-out levels.

First time I've ever been to Cambridge and found the best bbq place in England so far! It literally reminds me of BBQ back home in America so freaking

Really helpful staff, said all the right things without me having to ask. My son had ribs and I had a pulled beef bun, both were delicious. Both of us have felt fine afterwards.

had a great meal here. personal super friendly ok prices. eating is okay, could have been served hot. the treppenhaus was quite cold. the service and the atmosphere of the place enjoyed however.

I went to this place with friends. the staff was helpful and very friendly. the decor was good enough. but eat it. it was delicious! if they like to eat bbq, this is the place for them. They also make beautiful milkshakes. I tried and pulled pork. both are very tasty. highly recommended. View menu

the opening of a second smokeworks on the station road is a good news for bbq lovers and fans of the restaurants. a larger kitchen means that they can offer an extended menu such as brunch and dessert options. all favorites of smokeworks are still on the menu, with some items only in this sister restaurant. they take reservations at this place – bonus!

my first appearance in cambridge this year for a solo (early) dinner included meandering through the city square, through the market, buy some brot, look at some obst, and notice that the choices of eating is not really so bad. I mean, I suppose after I lived there, it could be repeated, but for the moment there is a certain wonderfulness. the Italian place aromi really took my imagination with its stacked £4.5 pizza right corner and gelato hidden in silver canister, but that must be for another time. I decided to treat myself instead to a smokey dinner at smokeworks and I am very glad I did.

"added dropwise for a pizza on the afternoon without reservation, and we were warmly welcomed and set immediately. the smell of reifer tomatensauce and gooey mozzarella in the stone oven under fire baked was an salutation to the sinnen. the restaurant was filled with a pleasant humor of talking and laughing, the sound of the teigs chopped in the kitchen, and the familiar sound of tellers and cutlery picked up and put down again - all with weak Italian music plays in the background. the ambiente was a tasteful hauch of seafoam blue on the wooden wall panels and equipped with sturdy furniture with red chili oils, salt and peppers and various types of fresh crimp on each table. a table can have salvia, another basilikum, the next coriander. a charming, subtler node to the l 'arte d 'arrangiarsi the art of making something from nothing of pizza. the menu was easy and easy to navigate, nothing to slandered level and nothing too adventurous. we ordered a pesto pizza and we asked for extra tomato sauce to which our server would be happy insured. after many times we came to our table customers and sleeps! the pesto had a tasteful taste and was pleasant tangy, the tomato sauce was juicy and not quite watery, and the mozzarella was evenly distributed and reached every end of the teigs. the best part, however, was the thick, soft resistance of the crust - not even the least incineration, but just at the right time pulled out of that. a 1 x 1 ' ft perfectly presented pizza. the, with two fizzy drinks, for less than 20 £. will return for the same, but with the intention to add a little red wine."
