"My son and I, aged 12, decided to treat ourselves before he started high school. We made a reservation online, which was straightforward. Upon arrival, the restaurant was not busy, but we had to wait for over 5 minutes before we were assisted by a young lady. She was not impolite, but she didn't seem very cheerful either. Fortunately, a different server took care of us during our meal. He was friendly, made great recommendations, and provided efficient service. The food was delicious - my son thoroughly enjoyed his salmon with teriyaki sauce, giving it a 5-star rating. My duck was cooked to medium and was tasty, although slightly chewy. We had a few glasses of wine, and the total bill came to just under £90 for the both of us. In my opinion, it was a bit on the expensive side, but it was a nice treat for a special occasion."

"So once a month, my bestie and I treat us one night out and crazy bear was our choice for september. my friend was there several times, but it was my first time and I wanted to know what it was about! I ran as late as ever and my friend was patiently waiting for minutes. at the arrival I was greeted by the super friendly hosts who showed me to our table. to say I have starved was an understatement, and of course, my first thoughts were to flick through the menu and the order! it is always nice to begin after a long day with a glass prosecco! it was all the way that I was up for hours. Yes, this Prosecco glass was very necessary. my friend chose to have the pornstar martini that she highly recommends and added that it was one of the best pornstars she had in london. I have to say that the drinks have come very fast, which is a miracle in london, as they often wait for their drinks for ever! for beginners I decided for the jasmin tee smoked tacky gloucestershire old spots ripping and they had gone in about minutes, simply because they were so delicious. followed by prawn tempura maki roll and salmon sashimi- they should now know that I absolutely love salmon sashimi. for my main thing, I chose the moving butdeen Angus-Rind sirloin, and I love a bit of bark, but perhaps I would have asked the bark to be medium-sized, as it was very chewing and I like my steak to be tenderer. However, the combinations of paprika, oyster mushrooms and oyster sauce are only mouthwater! overall for the price of eating, it was worth definitiw, and I could not be filled anymore. we didn't have much time, but there is a cocktail bar down that seemed to dizz and there was a very cool DJ game music. a few people danced and I wanted to shake a bit, but I had worked pretty early the next day, sad times. I would advise to have dinner and then follow them with drinks down below."

"The restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables. However, the service was quite slow and a few of our favorite menu items were not available that night. If we had been informed of this beforehand, we would have chosen to dine elsewhere. The staff were friendly, but it was unclear why the service was so slow, especially since the restaurant was not very busy and there appeared to be enough waitstaff in place."

"Neighborhood Sushi Joint in Stoke Newington. We went as coward of 4 on New Year's Eve for early dinner before the family all distributed to their respective celebrations. The staff was on the ball and the sushi was very good and inventive. The decor is quite simple, but still comfortable and generally it had a welcoming mood. Our waitress was covered with deeds, but it's Stoke Newington and she was on the ball with service. Very recommended."

"We were travelling from London for a night in Weston, and were so disappointed with food choices in Weston Super Mare. And then we came across Ebisu. It’s a small Japanese restaurant hidden away on Regent street. It was Saturday evening and we wanted an early dinner, luckily there was a table for two available for us. Restaurant is small, and tables become hard to come by as most are reserved in advance. Decor is tastily minimalistic, simple and clean, we loved hand painted wallpaper. We ordered Chicken Karaage and Ebisu cauliflower to wake up our taste buds, and Salmon donburi and Crispy potato Katsu for our mains. Many Japanese restaurants make compromises, this one didn’t. Food was superb and authentic, portions were generous, each served fresh slaw of daikon and carrot or salad leaves, each bite you took was superbly flavoursome. We were particularly impressed with Ebisu Cauliflower. We can honestly say that this one is one of best Japanese we have eaten for a long time. If you love Japanese food, this one is for you, do book in advance. We will be back."

"We had a 6pm booking and service started approximately 6:25. Our server was very nice, professional and quick after a delayed start. The food was very good, and we enjoyed both the food and service. After a very nice meal with a variety of starters, sushi, maki, we were ready to consider dessert. At 7:30pm, a different server came to our table and told us that we had to leave because they had another booking for our table. This was after they had just seated another party of 4 without a booking at the table next to ours. The server was extremely rude and unprofessional. There was no notice about a 90 minute time period prior. After spending £227 on our bill we were made to feel unwelcome and were hurried out the door. Even though the food was good, and we live locally in Richmond, we will never return after this experience. As a family of four people, to be told to leave technically after an hour of service is absurd. They will not be successful if the unprofessional service and attitude continues. Really unfortunate and bad experience."

"The sushi at this restaurant was excellent and incredibly filling. I have tried sushi in many places, but this was the first time I have seen sushi so loaded with meat and fillings! The robata grill was also fantastic, with the Mongolian lamb chops being flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was top-notch as well, receiving a perfect 10/10 rating. The value for money was outstanding, especially considering the central London location. The only downside was that the restaurant is a bit small, so larger groups may feel a bit cramped. "I was appalled about the quality of the service from the moment I arrived at the moment when I left what was when I arrived, I was not asked if I wanted a drink, and I was not asked about the whole meal. the waitress should have seen on the table that we only had water and asked if we wanted a drink. then we ordered our first round hot food. I pressed the help button and after waiting for a good minute for the waitress finally arrived. I felt it was too long. at this point in the evening there were three complete tables throughout the restaurant, so I thought the time we had to wait was bad. then the food began to come, but it didn't come quite. a few dishes came and then a few more and a few more afterwards. that meant that we didn't all eat together, we all ate at different times. I had ordered two dishes to eat at the same time and they did not arrive at the same time. very disappointing. the third order of hot food was beyond a sweat. it was clear that one of the two waitresses didn't feel very comfortable (I heard one of the chiefs to bring them home). she was our waitress. So we ordered the third round hot food. minutes later, we hadn't had our food yet. in this time the cook spoke with the sick waitress. then I pressed the help button and I explained that we had ordered something to eat and waited a long time. then I look at the waitress and the cook and it was absolutely clear that the order did not go through so that it was only then that the food started to cook. the waitress who took the order explained that there were many problems and it was sorry for her. as a customer who paid for a meal, I did not care about the problems, I still expected a good service and my food to turn. overall I thought the service was absolutely terrible. I will not visit this restaurant again and I will not recommend the restaurant to everyone."

"Zushi has a comprehensive Japanese menu with a couple of dishes also from Korea. I decided to have a beef Dolsot Bibimbap, a sizzling hot stone pot also containing rice and vegetables and Gochujang chilli paste. I felt the meal although hot in temperature, this wasn't reflected in the taste. I was concerned that ingredients seemed to be sticking to the side of the pot, so tried to eat fairly quickly, so as not to have to scrape from the sides, which meant I really had to eat the food whilst it was too hot. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Tuesday night, which is a good sign."
