The only minor negatives with the Bishop is the atmosphere is too rowdy, not sure what it is or can be done but many people who eat are so loud and obnoxious, maybe some soothing pub music that doesn’t make people talk louder? Other than that, the charter pie dish needed gravy to accompany it as it was quite dry"

"A friend and I visited the Hillside for dinner and some drinks on Friday evening. Food was fabulous and they were so accommodating for my friend who is celiac, servers were quick to get us an altered menu explaining what she was able to order. The service was fast and servers were lovely and friendly helping and giving us recommendations. My friend can be quite difficult to take out but they were able to answer any question she threw at them. After our meal we moved to the bar to finish with some drinks and the bar staff were just as friendly as the restaurant staff even with a full bar of customers. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and the live music just topped off a fabulous night for us!"

"large Vietnamese restaurant! they always go on the way to work and wanted to try it out. tried a quite unique dish frog (for Great Britain) her mango salad with king prawns was perfectly balanced. it seems quite empty for a Friday night, but again I believe that most of their customers were ordered via delivery apps. not one place to miss! would definitely come back to try the other dishes."

"The owners of this fish and chip shop are such kind and welcoming people. It has become my daughter's go-to treat after swimming. The food is always fresh, nicely presented, and delicious. It's also great value for the money. They accept card payments, and there's a cash machine nearby. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thanks to the staff for their excellent service."

"Absolutely loved our meal at Ichibuns. The servers were all incredibly friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was such fun, and the menu was perfect. We loved the Dynamite Shrimp and the Crispy Rice starters, everything was small enough so that you could eat loads and still share a cheeseburger with your other half. The burger came out a bit well done, as the server had stated it would be prepared medium-rare, so we (nicely) sent it back and they swiftly brought out a perfectly-cooked replacement. The space is amazing and vibrant, loved it, can't wait to go back!"

"I recently had dinner at this restaurant and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The price per person was over £100 but it was well worth it. The food was exceptional, I would rate it a 5, and the service was top-notch as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also a 5, creating a very enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying the Vegan Momo, Chips Chilli, Chilli Chicken, Chicken Prawn Chow Mein, and Chicken Momos as they were all delicious. For vegetarians, I would highly recommend this restaurant as they have a large selection of vegetarian dishes to choose from. Overall, I had a great meal at this restaurant and I would definitely visit again."

"I had a pleasant experience with the friendly service from the younger staff member. Initially, the younger guy who served me had a bit of an aloof vibe, but overall, it was great. On my first visit, I took his recommendation for the ribs, and I must say the sauce was delicious and very generous. The meat was tender and flavorful, although I felt it could have been even more tender for a perfect experience. It required a bit of chewing, but I tend to be quite particular. The chips were decent as well. I would definitely return!"

"Been coming here for best part of 3 years and its my favourite chip shop as I'm local. Thought I'd treat myself to a takeaway for the 1st time in a while. Waited 20mins to be given the smallest portion over over cooked food! £6.50!!!! I understand there's a cost of living but come on.. a £3 portion of chips and this is what I get. Looks like a kids portion! Won't be returning, sorry."

"Third visit here sadly not the best and gone down hill service wise.. It was a very quiet evening and service was incredibly slow for some unknown reason. Were not asked for drinks orders for a very long time. Mains came out just as we were eating starters. When one of us asked for tap water we were told they no longer do this. I’m sure by law as a licensed restaurant you are required to not deny a patron drinking water so this really baffled me. Maybe I’m wrong but it seemed a very silly thing to do. Unlikely to return."

"Top tip: avoid this restaurant at all costs. I recently had one of the worst dining experiences of my life here. I placed an order for 8:30 AM, but it didn't arrive until 7:50 PM, and by that time the food was so dried out that it seemed to have been sitting under a warmer for hours. It was inedible, so we ended up throwing it away. When I called the restaurant to complain, I was met with a dismissive response and told that nothing could be done. Even when pushed by Just Eat, they only offered a measly 20% discount on a future order. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from there again."

"We decided to give Big Fish another try after boycotting them for a few months. Unfortunately, after last night's meal, we won't be ordering from them again. The fish, which is usually delicious, was overcooked and covered in thick, stodgy batter that hid a small amount of haddock. My husband's mixed kebab was also disappointing, lacking cheese that we had paid extra for. With a delivery charge of £4, the meal wasn't cheap, especially considering the poor quality. Overall, we were very disappointed and won't be returning."

"We stayed here the night before a wedding being held locally and sadly didn't get chance to golf as part of the stay (but we will be back for that as it looks just amazing!! but my friend who was also staying locally and I took advantage of the spa and had a massage each. This was very good although she didn't touch my arms or hands in the full body which was a shame! The whole place was very well set out, we ate food in the evening which was nice although I was served Veg Lasagne instead of Beef which was just awful and too late to say anything once I noticed! The room was clean and tidy, functional! The breakfast the next morning was however stupendous! My partner commented that the lady cooked THE best poached eggs nd overall all the food served was good quality/hot and really tasty! "The restaurant is in an excellent location with a beautiful sea view. The food was amazing, the best Thai cuisine we have had in a long time. My dad even said it was as good as the Thai food he had in Thailand. The Thai curry and rice cost approximately £16, which is great value compared to another seafront restaurant selling fish and chips for £18. They also have a kids menu available. The ambience is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean and child and dog friendly. We will definitely be returning. Even the coffee and hot chocolate are worth stopping in for."
