"An excellent restaurant specialising in japanese food but also serving some other oriental cuisine. I've been coming here for years now and the food has always been top notch. I wouldn't recommend it to someone in a great hurry as they have been known to be a little slow, but the food is all freshly prepared to order so in my opinion it's well worth the wait! It's often quiet and I sometimes fear for its future, so do check it out while it's still there!"

"after the start of my rainbow vegan lasagne it was in the middle cold as if it frozen and not groomed, shamed as it tasted delicious. the waiter took it back and put it in the many for one, but I checked. it again when it came back, but the middle was hardly warm. I decided not to have it back and asked for something fast and so I could eat something with my family. However, the brush lasted at least 10 minutes to arrive (we thought they had forgotten) and my family had finished their meal so that it only I had eaten alone. for the happiness the lasagne had been taken from the bill, but I think the brush had to be, since I only chose it, because I could not eat the lasagna and I thought it would be fast. all in all disappointing."

"We arrived at Zizzi at 12 noon as booked. They weren't quite open as late delivery. They didn't seem to know we had booked a table but it was ok as they weren't busy. We waited a very long time to be asked if we wanted drinks. They had run out of nuts to have with our drinks. They had run out of lasagne which one of us ordered. They had run out of low alcohol beer . All all a bit of a disaster but the waitress was lovely. So not a great experience. Also very overpriced. Not very big portions either. Not sure if we will go again."

"the food was good,but the experience was ruined by the extremely poor service I had pre booked a table for 8 people .we were not offered drinks for at least half an hour after we were seated ,and the slow service continued through out the meal .Our waitress was helpful but very stretched as they simply did not have enough waiting staff ,very disappointing as it was my grand daughters 14th Birthday."

"to start Service was Impeccable and atmosphere warm and inviting, my prawn starter was nice and presented well and I enjoyed it, then came the main chorizo carbonara which didn’t look cheesy or creamy tasted so bland and then to add to the tasteless plate of pasta, I found 2 pubic hairs in it, one of which was found on my fork after I had put a portion of the pasta in my mouth, I was absolutely horrified and immediately stopped eating it, I presented the hairs to the server and they said they would give me a free dessert and replacement pasta dish which I refused because I felt ill, so they offered to take main off our bill which I appreciated, but I’m sorry I will never risk returning to this branch again"

"We got to the venue, they didn’t have our booking on the system for 8pm we had to hang around nearly an hour before getting a table when we got sat down and ordered our food, there were a group sat behind us that left and didn’t pay as they were waiting so long for there food, we ended up eating at 10:30pm the lady serving us was great we could see the whole place was in a bit of a mess but the lady serving us really did make it a better, the food was good but as I said had to wait a really good, shame they overbooked and couldn’t handle what bookings they had. If it wasn’t for the lady we would’ve left."

"Zizzi provided excellent service for my family of four during a busy lunchtime. The service was quick and friendly, and the pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, was delivered to our table in just 20 minutes. We all enjoyed our meal in the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. "better at the second time. I was in zizzi twice. the first time I left, I was at my house. I had the bruchetta al pomodoro £4.75) and my homemate had tiramisu £4.95) and it was okay, but the bruchetta was expensive, but not enough filling out and because my homemate didn't want to be any pornstars, I couldn't use my badge that let me buy a main meal and still one for £1. I enjoyed the second time because I went with a support worker and I could use my credit that gave us 2 main courses for £10. I had the rigatoni con pollo e funghi large pasta tubes with huh in a tomaten,- tweezers,- mushroom and rosemary sauce) during the support workers had the casareccia pollo picante macaroni-like pasta with huhn in a creamy chili, tomaten and spinat sauce). we enjoyed our meal and we saved £7.50 between us. because we arrived between 1 clock and 2 clock, the restaurant was quieter."

"eating was in order what we got, went in before a theater show at 6 came only our starters at 6.55 and when we asked how far along our main were how far we had to leave 7.20, this was at 7.15 I asked to say that they were checking and back to us, it came to 7.20 and they had not returned so that we canceled our main thing. very disappointed by this service and for a starter and a drink it cost us 12 pfund each. service was terrible. they were understated. I called the day before to inform them, we went to the theater and we would have to go around 7.15, talking to a girl called sophie she was really helpful and a note on our booking, but the staff in this night did not see the notiz and were not helpful. will no longer eat there pampered our night"
