"Boonnak is the best Thai restaurant in the area! I have been dining here for over 10 years and have enjoyed countless meals here, from intimate dinners for two to birthday celebrations and bachelorette parties. The menu has remained largely unchanged over the years and the owner has stayed the same, but the restaurant itself has continuously improved in terms of decor and atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, with our favorite dishes never failing to satisfy. We also enjoy trying new dishes, and the quality, taste, and portion sizes are always top-notch. Boonnak is a shining gem that has maintained its excellence over the years. Thank you, Boonnak!"

"In general, I would advise against ordering Chinese food from Farewell to Bristol, as I’ve had many disappointing experiences with it being too fatty and salty. However, Aromas is fantastic! The food tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, and I really enjoyed it. It arrived slightly earlier than the expected delivery time, which was a nice surprise, but I would have happily waited the full hour. I will definitely be ordering from them again!"

"This place offers a very extensive menu in very pleasant surroundings. The service is also good, so the whole experience was delightful. My son ate the Aromatic Crispy Duck as a main course which he said was just perfect. It is served with a box of pancakes and vegetables and you may wrap all the ingredients into a pancake if you wish. I tried Lemon Chicken which was also very good and recommended. We ordered Egg Fried Rice on the side, which is served with garlic, spring onions and egg. It was really delicious. The bill was about $45, which I thought was pretty good, considering the vast amount of food we were served."

"Top tip: avoid this restaurant at all costs. I recently had one of the worst dining experiences of my life here. I placed an order for 8:30 AM, but it didn't arrive until 7:50 PM, and by that time the food was so dried out that it seemed to have been sitting under a warmer for hours. It was inedible, so we ended up throwing it away. When I called the restaurant to complain, I was met with a dismissive response and told that nothing could be done. Even when pushed by Just Eat, they only offered a measly 20% discount on a future order. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from there again."

"This small restaurant offers great value, delicious food, and fantastic service. However, sushi is no longer on the menu and only Korean dishes are available."

"Visited Twin Dynasty for a birthday meal with friends and it was ok…. But just ok. Starters came out quickly, all tasted ok but smoked chicken felt a little ‘processed’ as did the chicken satay. A bit of a wait for main meals and when they arrived they were all ok, lemon chicken was a slice of frozen chicken I think, tasted alright but was a bit tough. Service was friendly but I felt like I was eating in a mess.. the bones from the duck where still on the table during the main course. The restaurant is quite big and seems to lack atmosphere and it’s quite impersonal. If you want an ok meal for an ok price then this is probably for you. If you want a better meal in a more quiet and personal setting, then Twin Dynasty may not quite be suitable."

"Agree with previous reviews, excellent little restaurant a surprise in a way, you might expect a run of the mill Thai/Chinese but this is definitely not ordinary cool, tasteful decor, nice waiting area, smallish but atmospheric dining room, cleanly unfussy settings with all servingware in solid white giving a very nice feel to the place. The food was delicious, clean tasting, sharp, hot chillie hot, not cloying and gloopy and the vegetables and rice cooked very well. The menu has good descriptions of the wide range of dishes to chose from and the 'heat ' is described accurately for those with more delicate tongue surfaces. Waitess service very friendly and attentive without being at all pushy again excellent. A good crowd inside, despite being a cold miserable November Monday evening, with other nearby establishments looking decidedly sparce or empty. Prices very reasonable with excellent selection of drinks. Highly recommended."

"My partner and I fancied Thai food for a change and after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor I decided on khon Thai and from the moment I stepped up into this tiny establishment I just new I had made the right decision from the welcome I received and the amazing smells coming from the kitchen. My partner and I had a green curry with chicken, red curry with prawns and a massaman curry with beef and all I can say is that after the first bite I was instantly transported back 25 years to my first ever Thai curry in Bangkok. The food is quite simply delicious and now we have tasted this amazing food I know we will become regulars. 10 out of 10."

"First of all, I wouldn't let any of the negative reviews put you off. If you turn up late in most restaurants (especially small ones) you loose your table and the style of Asian cuisine is that it often turns up as and when ready. Came here with my wife on a Sunday evening in June 23. My wife is Thai and loves Korean BBQ's so having noticed this place during the day when walking around, we decided to return for dinner in the evening. Upon arriving, we were welcomed by an incredibly friendly Korean lady who seated us at a table by the open retractable windows. It was quite busy and she did seem a bit short staffed running around like mad but the service was still good. The food and price point is fantastic, if you like authentic, flavorful Korean food then make sure you visit. Wine was also well priced. Our most recently visited Pochawa Grill in London. Pochawa Grill offered a better atmosphere although we found the food to be far superior at the Korean Grill. Highly recommended, will visit again on our next trip to Bournemouth!"

"In terms of service, I noticed that tables could have been cleared more promptly to accommodate new customers, but overall, the place was clean and the staff were polite. It's important to note that this is a cafe, not a restaurant, so there is no need to dress up. The place is quite small, with a maximum capacity of around 30 people, and it tends to get busy with students since it's located near student halls. However, there is a small waiting area for customers until a table becomes available. The dishes are very reasonably priced, and you can have a meal for around £15 per person, which includes a cold drink. I look forward to returning to try more dishes in the future."

"My partner and I had been considering trying this restaurant for a while. We have Gurkha friends who have cooked us delicious momo dumplings and curries in the past, so we were excited to try the food here. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. My pork and Pak choi curry had no sauce or Pak choi, and was mostly just rice. The momo dumplings were hard, chewy, and flavorless, instead of being light and fluffy. The vegetarian platter was also disappointing, with small pieces of onion pyaji and soft samosas. Overall, we were not happy with our meal and feel that it was not worth the price of £50+. It's a shame because we had high hopes for this restaurant."
