"This review is based on my experience on the day, and could be different for you, but I doubt it. I kept being told about a Burrito bar in Southampton and that I should try it. Well I attended today, with the friends who told me about this place, and have to say I had, up to this point never had a Burrito in my life. Seen many programs showing them but never had I ever tried one. Followed what my friend did, and I got my burrito the way I wanted it to be. You walk in, you’re asked if you want a small or large (unsure if medium is available burrito. Then your problems start, but in a nice way. So many main options it can be mind boggling until you get your head around it. The staff were fantastic after I chosen my main meat/rice of tomato rice and shredded beef. I then moved on to the extras, sauces, chose a mild sauce many salad options and it was then prepared for eating (folded then wrapped in silver foil then payment. And I was ready to eat at the tables in the front part of the shop. Warning that prices vary dependent on the size and the meat you have as your filling. Mine with shredded beef with the rice and toppings I chose totaled £9.95. No complaints from me as the food was hot, tasty, held together by the silver foil, filling and worth every penny in my opinion. Pricing is no different to any local take away I suppose but the bigger the meat (to many to list hear, but from pulled meat to chunks of steaks you have the more expensive it is but it is filling and good value. If you are not a meat eater you could ask for a vegetarian burrito, made of rice and the vast vegetable additions. Cannot see that being an issue. You can do take away, eat in or delivery. They do other dishes which I did not even get to look at but I would say all pallets are catered for. You could always call in advance or check their website, Mexigo Southampton. I think there are other Mexigo branches around the local area as far as Maidstone if you google Mexigo. Don’t shoot the messenger as this was the first time I had visited this shop/chain and I was unsure as you are reading my review, but I was satisfied with what I chose, and think if you plan your selections well either there or via the website you will not be disappointed."

"The only disappointment was where we were seated: people were standing behind us and kept knocking into our chairs because they were very drunk. Perhaps they should seat people who are eating separately from those who are drinking. I had to speak to them to ask them to stop knocking into our chairs. The waitress was amazing, although I didn't catch her name. She kept asking if we wanted our drinks refilled so we didn't have to go to the bar. The food was absolutely outstanding."

"We were a party of five and only one of three tables there on a Saturday evening. They crammed us around a small table and when we requested to move they said they were fully booked yet no one else arrived during our meal. It took over 20 minutes to get our drinks, which were sat on the bar and we had to ask the waitress to get, when they came, they were flat and weak. We waited a further 40 more minutes for food 2 of which were enjoyable but none of which were worth the £15 each. We left disappointed as it was meant to be a birthday celebration meal and the whole experience was just depressing. Only wish we had read other reviews before we went. Avoid, there are so many better places to eat in Loughborough."

"I enjoyed my experience at the restaurant. Though it was a wet Tuesday evening in November, I got the feeling that it would be a vibrant spot on weekends. The service was excellent - the staff were friendly and attentive. I particularly liked the cloth napkins they provided, a nice touch compared to paper ones. The food was expertly prepared and presented, however, it was disappointingly too salty for my taste and my husband's as well. Despite this, I would consider returning to Olea for drinks, but may opt to dine elsewhere. The overly salty meals we had make me hesitant to try other dishes, which is a shame."

"good place went to the breakfast expect crepe sorting no full English goes here! would have the Canadian breakfast (krepp, speck maple syrup) really have to be streaky speck to be more authentic, but this is personal preference. all ice creams looked very good, although we didn't have this opportunity."

"Decent food, and served very quickly. Good menu variety. Prices probably a little steep for some of the menu but others were very well priced. Had the chilli beef nachos which was nice but needed to be a bit fresher. Girlfriend had southern fried chicken burger which was amazing! Cajun fries were brilliant!"

"salatable not refilled, asked for glass wein got bottle, asked for rice, since nobody on salatbar never got it for chips never got it. only meat that came to the table was steak or lamb every time in the blood drop. the guy came with gammon when he was asked if he came away. another guy asked if special question of meat was asked, which were stolen as just steak and lamb, he said he would find out never came back. says on the menu 15 times offered by different meat steak or lamb. will never return to this place again. the only one on the head dared the dame that made us pay for 1 meal, I wouldn't pay because it wasn't worth it. all together I had 3 kartoffels and my partner, who is a bodybuilder, so huge carnivores couldn't even eat it."

"This is an excellent spot for desserts! We visited Edinburgh for a holiday and ended up going there several times. They strictly adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, thoroughly cleaning tables and seats and requiring masks. The staff is fantastic—very friendly and welcoming. And the food! Their waffles are among the best I've ever tasted! I highly recommend the caramel and shortbread blowout waffle!"

"I’ve been coming here for many years as it’s the best place around for deserts. It’s not a big place so if your more than a table of two I’d book in advance. The menu is extensive so it’s hard to decide what to order....Some items are chocolate overkill and a bit sickly. This time I went for the millionaire waffles which were very tasty, not too chocolaty. The only problem with this place is the staff. The tabes aren’t cleaned properly and the water glasses were a bit dirty hard water stains Service has always been very hit and miss, this time was particularly bad. It did not take long to order or get food but paying the bill was not easy. We eventually got up to go to the counter to pay but were told to sit down as they would bring the card machine. Of course this did not happen as the waitress completely ignored us. With better trained staff this place would be a 5/5 but for now it’s a 3/5."

"I had an excellent waffle at this restaurant! The waffles were fluffy and not overly sweet, but just sweet enough to enjoy. My favorite was a tempting offer that I couldn't resist - milk chocolate with strawberries. The restaurant is small but beautiful. Our waiter, Mohammed, was really nice, funny, and helpful. He recommended the Best of Both, which was also very tasty - thank you for the suggestion! If you're looking for a place to enjoy a delicious waffle and a cup of tea with friends, I definitely recommend this place!"

"I was thrilled to discover that a new Giraffe restaurant had opened in Swindon, and even better, it is conveniently located next to Tesco. This way, we could do our shopping after enjoying a meal."

"After our first visit we were only too happy to come again, this time with family. But this time it didn't live up to the same standards. Three people ordered medium rare steaks. When they came out one was clearly well done so we complained to our waitress. She disappeared with the steak to discuss it with the chef but didn't apologise. She returned with the original steak saying that the chef said that was how he always cooked medium rare steak. We said this was unacceptable so she took the plate away again. When she subsequently brought it back, whilst it was better it now had peppercorn sauce on instead of the mushroom sauce as ordered. So it was sent back again. Finally a satisfactory outcome but by this time the rest of us had just about finished. We also had an issue with a food intolerance with one of our desserts. Overall a very disappointing experience. We never received an apology and didn't leave a tip (almost unheard of for me as I am usually extremely generous). We haven't been back as there are much better places we have found subsequently that offer better food, service and at a more reasonable price."

"Went for lunch, stayed for hours. The service from entry to end was absolutely delightful, servers are super friendly. Food was exceptional, great portions and the cakes were to die for. Everything served around us also looked and smelled insane, will be back to try the whole menu! Coffee was on point, would highly recommend the Nutella mocha. We sat outside although we did have to keep our jackets on, the heaters make it bearable even in minus temps and the fairy lights and cushions/blankets provide a wonderful atmosphere for any occasion. One of our new favourites for dates and business meetings and everything in between! Parking: Parking available across the road, plenty there but not huge availability depending on time of day. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cake Selection Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free street parking"

"Occasionally when i’m feeling a desert me and my boyfriend go here hoping it’ll be better than last time because there’s never that many other options for deserts open at night. But of coarse it never gets any better. Tonight i ordered the strawberry indulge crepe to takeout, the sauce was chocolate sauce for ice creams dripping all out the box, not really the kind of sauce you would expect. The crepe was soggy from the sauce but most of the sauce was just swimming around in the box. And most of it on my lap : . I get that sometimes you run out of things like the proper sauce, but instead of getting me to pay the £8 for something you can’t actually give me, tell me you can’t make it so i can get something else instead. Knowing how little toppings you get, i ask for extra toppings so that the crepe is actually what you would expect from a place specialising in deserts. The added price for extra toppings changes each time, sometimes it’s an extra £2 after already paying over £6 for one. Not to mention the size of the crepe is a joke. And to top it off the customer service just isn’t as it should be."

"For our starter, we received three small pots of homemade sauces and some oily tortillas. The tacos were bland. Since we don’t eat meat, we opted for the sweet potato tacos with feta cheese, which were decent thanks to the flavors of the sweet potato and cheese. However, we wanted variety and ordered a different option next time: black bean tacos with cheese. Unfortunately, they were dry and underwhelming. The saving grace was the salty insistent on avocado—though it was just a piece with a fried egg, and still lacked flavor. The deep-fried fish taco was the only one I enjoyed. Sadly, all the taco tortillas were soggy, cold, and fell apart easily, served with awkward, raw-looking garnishes. The staff seemed disorganized, and to top it off, there was a 12.5% service charge added to our bill. I paid it but left feeling dissatisfied. I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone."

"Where do I start, we walked and were seated right by the front door which was kept open (it was a windy day). My colleagues and I were already in a bad mood as we had not settled business prior to our visit. Nevertheless we did not let it bother us. We went to order at the counter and they made us order separately instead of paying on one card. My colleague (a wealthy man, who has a knack for comically large desserts) decided to order the ‘birthday extravaganza’ for himself, I (a man of fine dining) and our other colleague Jamie (a man with dread locks). We waited for a reasonable time however we are busy businessmen and reasonable time is not up to par with us. We were not met with our order however we were greeted with 3 chocolate chip smoothies in a jar. As we were businessmen, we grasped our briefcases and decided that this was not good enough and we’re going to take action. We did enjoy the smoothies however we were not aware of the danger that clouded upon us when getting stuck into our drinks. I (a man who isn’t too keen on getting chocolate chips stuck in his throat) took a fair sip on my drink only to find a little chocolate chip had found his way up my straw like Bruce Willis in Die Hard and lodged itself in my throat. I find myself as a calm and collected being and not one to cause a scene, I did like what every other person would do, and started slamming the table out of fear of death. However, none of the workers who were on shift came over to see if I was alright. Luckily my colleague (Brett, a man who has recently purchased a Les Paul guitar) took action and performed the Heimlich manoeuvre on me. And freed the chip from my throat like Lincoln did the slaves. I could not thank my colleague enough as I would’ve died that day in Kaspa’s and that is not the way I want to die (I want to die a heroic death, Iron Man did in Avengers: Endgame). Safe to say, I will not be going to any Kaspa’s restaurant anytime soon. And I hope that this Kaspa fella realises the danger he is causing as I know loads of children who dine in these establishments and pray that nothing of such calibre gets stuck down their throats as their throats are much smaller in girth than mine is. Hopefully, this problem does not happen to anyone else as I do not wish it on my greatest enemy and Kaspa’s find a solution to choking on chocolate chip cookies through a straw."
