"I hired Nutmeg’s privately on a recent Sunday afternoon to celebrate a milestone birthday with 15 friends and I have to say we all had the most perfect afternoon. From start to finish the two lovely ladies ,the chef and our very own personal waitress, could not have been more helpful or accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely delicious, many of my friends were new to Nutmegs and commented on how good the food was. There was such a relaxed atmosphere and a great ambiance, we all had so much fun . It’s a pleasure to support an independent local business and I would thoroughly recommend . A little gem ."

"The pies at this restaurant were extremely delicious, though we felt that the staff could have been friendlier. It is important to note that they only offer takeout, but we were impressed by the wide variety of pies available. They are quite large, so it is recommended to order one per person as they are fully stuffed. Parking is available on the street side for free, but it may be challenging for larger vehicles. The service is quick and efficient. Overall, it is a great spot for a takeout lunch."

"The reviews for this cafe were exceptional so I thought I couldn’t go wrong with a lunch time panini. But for £4 each I feel ripped off. Had a tiny panini with a slither of filling, I couldn’t even taste the mustard in the beef and mustard panini. The staff were really friendly and the brownie was really good, but the sandwiches were just over priced. I have attached a picture. But it’s nothing like the pics of baguettes etc I have seen left on reviews."

"We popped into the coffee bothy for a takeaway order a few weeks ago. We were served quickly and the waitress was lovely. We ordered 2 portions of soup 2 toasties all to takeaway. We were charged £19.80 which at the time I did feel was expensive but had heard good things and was staying positive. After around a 20 min wait we were given our bag of food and we headed out to the car to eat our lunch. All I can describe this as is daylight robbery. I opened up the bag to see two toasted sandwiches wrapped up in tinfoil for the price we paid I was expecting a takeaway box with a nicely presented toastie and side salad. The soup was a takeaway cup size which I appreciate is probably standard and it was tasty. To make matters worse the chicken inside the toasties was of terrible quality, very rubbery and chewy and the cheap mayo wasn’t much better. Shame as this place looked really nice, however the prices they are charging definitely don’t match the portion or quality of food they are producing."

"I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. The staff made mistakes with my order twice, causing me to repeatedly go back in line to correct it. To make matters worse, they forgot to bring me the strawberry milkshake. The waitress was nonchalant about the errors, simply stating that mistakes happen. However, having to wait in line multiple times was frustrating. The only positive aspect was that the desserts were delicious, which is why I am giving this place two stars. However, the lack of social distancing was concerning. There were families waiting in line close together and no effort was made to enforce proper distancing. My family and I had to navigate through crowded areas just to leave. When we pointed out the lack of social distancing to the waitress, her response was dismissive. This unsafe environment, coupled with rude staff, has led me to vow never to return to this restaurant again. The staff and restaurant should be ashamed of their behavior."

"So we traveled from Bristol approximately 3 hours to this restaurant. I can honestly say I was absolutely blown away by the food especially the main course. Fillet steak was 10/10 cooked to perfection (rare). For the money I would honestly say this is as good as it gets. Staff didn’t let your drink run dry, cocktails were fantastic. "Arrived on a cold and set Thursday morning to find it deserted but was welcomed by Ethan who served with a friendly attitude. We ordered a large glass of Sauv Blanc and two halves of ale: Abbot and Greene King IPA. This caused us amusement because Ethan didn't like the look of the IPA and decided he couldn't sell it to me...and then found someone had changed the ale without telling him and not swapped the pump clips! We had a good laugh and I got a free Deuchars IPA. Very good customer service. Oh, and I am told the wine was excellent too. Worth crossing the busy road for. Cosy with good music at sensible levels. Recommended."

"I really love Kaspas. You have everything that you dream of related to sugar . I asked for a flat white, and I was unhappy as the size of the coffee was super big, and I used to have it smaller. The next time that I came, they gave me a coffee from the house as they remembered me. I have to say that the customer service is exceptional and I am not used to having it like here, Ezaf, thanks for your attention. You do a really good job !!!"

"My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on Sunday, 17th December with my son, son-in-law, and three grandsons. We live in Kent and they live in Redditch, so it was a bit of a journey to get there, but it was definitely worth it! We had a wonderful table and the food was excellent, with something for everyone, even my very picky 13-year-old. What made the experience even more special was our server, Summer. She was a delightful and pleasant young lady who was attentive without being intrusive. She made sure we had everything we needed, asked if there was anything extra we wanted, and served each course with a smile and professionalism. I realized when paying the bill that no service charge was added, so I wanted to leave a tip to show my appreciation for the great service. Unfortunately, I only had a card and no cash, so I couldn't leave a tip. I wanted to show my appreciation for Summer's excellent service, so I decided to write this review to let her know. Well done, Summer! You helped make our lunch very special and I am grateful for your outstanding service. Sly Cotterill."

"We had been to the Panoramic several times before, and each time had been a lovely experience. We visited again this evening and we were very disappointed indeed. The food was poor, the service was dreadful and all the nice extra touches have been taken away We both had scallops for starters, the three smallest scallops I have ever seen size of a 10p piece) and charged £9 extra each for them. My wife had turkey, which was worse than pub food, and I had halibut which was tasteless. My pudding essentially consisted of a strip of mousse with slices of apple. Only the wine was nice. The service was offhand and unknowledgable. No description of the food at any stage, I had to keep asking for the menus, and the mains and sides were literally thrown at us. All previous visits included an amuse bouche and a pre dessert, but the only “extra” was bread, which was underwhelming and nowhere near as tasty as the bread I make at home. And at the beginning the two of us were given a very large round table that would normally seat six or eight. Made us feel like the only two guests at a wedding, and very definitely not special. This is an expensive restaurant and no part of the experience lived up to expectation. Unless we hear that things have dramatically improved, we will not return"

"I was very surprised to offer this remote caffe 3 vegan cake options. I chose the chocolate wing cake that was delicious and served with soy-squirty cream and a few fresh blueberries. we sat at the window and watched the golden finks and green finks on the bird food outside. a great tee and cake stop the staff cleaned around us when I think they shut down and they turned off the light while we were still sitting and drinking our tee, but I guess they wanted to go home."

"The family went to celebrate my grandson’s fifth birthday. After an hour and a half there was no sign of our order. My daughter suggested that they refunded our money and they started making it. I went to the counter after 10 minutes and it was on the side. I asked if that was our order and they said yes. I stood there while the staff photographed their creation and until they actually picked it up. When they started to carry it to the table the happy birthday song began but it lost its impact because the staff took so many selfies with it. It arrived eventually with candles unlit and the waitress gave us a lighter so we could light our own candles. What?? Never again. First and last visit. Nil points. Soggy waffles expensive for what we had"

"I have been to Cha-ty several times with friends, but recently took my husband for his first visit. Today, I feel incredibly lucky to have tried their mocha green tea chocolate cake after brunch—it tastes heavenly! I love this place not only for its authentic Japanese cuisine, but also for its simplicity and excellent quality in presentation. In addition to their delicious green tea, I must also mention that their coffee is probably the best in town. The prices are reasonable and the restroom is amazing—it reminds me of Japan, which I miss dearly from my previous trip there."

"This restaurant is poorly managed, resulting in terrible service that led to a disappointing experience. We waited ten minutes at the counter before a staff member finally took our order, only to be told that it would take another 15 minutes or more to prepare. Frustrated, we ended up ordering to go. The whole process was a complete disaster. Our order was supposed to be simple - a waffle, two slices of hot chocolate cake, and a milkshake. However, they managed to completely mess it up by forgetting the waffle and serving us cold cake straight from the fridge. We had to reheat everything in the microwave at home. Every time we bring our children here, it ends up being a terrible experience and far from child-friendly. The staff seem indifferent and the customer service is terrible. We have decided never to return, but unfortunately, it is the only place nearby for cake and ice cream. This establishment should consider closing down if they are not willing to invest in proper training for their staff. It is a worrying thought to imagine what could happen if someone had a food allergy in this place. I strongly urge others to avoid this place and take their kids elsewhere for a more enjoyable dessert experience."

"Have eaten here a couple of times recently on the last 2 occasions we were lucky to get a table, the cafe is huge with loads of tables but it's obviously very popular hence the difficulty getting a seat. Once seated we loved the menu especially as we are vegetarian so lovely to get some different options. I had the eggs ambio which was gorgeous then today had the goats cheese and onion toast with additional chips. Yes it's a bit expensive and did have a little wait both to order given the size of the queue then to get the food but it's worth it. The cakes look amazing and I really enjoyed the slice of coffee cake I had. The tables outside looking onto the river are great. Loads of free parking and next door to the motor museum, couldn't ask for more."

"I cannot recommend this place enough. I would fly to Liverpool (or make sure it's in my UK itinerary) to visit this place. The desserts are decadent with awesome portion sizes. The service is excellent. This place, man--just freaking WOW!!! Everything we ordered hit the spot for all of us. I would like to especially call out and thank Luqman, the waiter/host who took care of us. He is one of the friendliest, gracious, and kind people I have ever met. "We visited the Two-Way Cafe during my stay with a friend in Hemsby. We went when my family came to pick me up and we, along with friend, went to the cafe for lunch before we left Hemsby for home. Anyway, having largely self-catered during the wek, it was nice to be out for a meal. The two-way cafe impressed. I had a lovely burger and chips, with some dressing, and the family had an omelette, a mushroom one I believe, a chicken dinner roast and a lasagne, plus some drinks. It was all lovely and there were 4 clean plates. We didn't leave a drop. I wish I'd gone in more during the week. Would recommend. When I get to Hemsby again I will certainly go in."

"We had been recommended by friends in the village to go here. We were shown to our table, and given the menus. In a way I'm glad I didn't go for a starter, as the main was so filling. Drinks orders were taken. Mine was a Beef Shin with tagliatelle. Others had a curry. The chunks of beef were large bitesize, and absolutely gorgeous. Sauce matched, and the whole thing really filled you up. 4 beers were available on tap, that I saw. A Timothy Taylor's (NOT Landlord, but another of their range), an Oakam Ale from Rutland and 2 others I forget which. Staff were great, I think we must have been checked on about 5-6 times over the meal and preamble. If I was in the area again, I'd definitely go back."
