"The pies at this restaurant were extremely delicious, though we felt that the staff could have been friendlier. It is important to note that they only offer takeout, but we were impressed by the wide variety of pies available. They are quite large, so it is recommended to order one per person as they are fully stuffed. Parking is available on the street side for free, but it may be challenging for larger vehicles. "We visited shortly before closing and thought we was pushing it. How wrong was we, welcomed by the staff and the lovely jinx! I had a Snickers cake and a lovely flat white My wife tried the Luxury Hot Choc Cake and it was all amazing. Even took some takeaway for the evening brew! Make sure you visit if your passing."

"We made a last minute reservation this evening just an hour before booking for my wife and I. We have been to the restaurant before and the sister restaurant in South Road, Crosby and have always had a great meal. We chose off the Christmas...menus which was great value. We shared a hot meze starter and had some hummus to share. My wife had the kleftiko which was huge and so tender it just fell of the bone. I had fillet steak with pepper sauce. The steak was delicious. Cooked perfectly medium and was so tasty. I found the pepper sauce really rich, creamy and delicious. The chips as always are amazing like proper old school chip pan chips your mum used to make years ago. We both couldn’t finish it all and had to opt to take home our dessert from the Christmas menu home with us. I opted for carrot cake and the mrs chose the vanilla cheese cake which is in the fridge for tomorrow we are that stuffed. Staff are all really friendly and noting too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely night."

"Came to kaspa’s with a friend and got seated then when we went to order the cashier was not friendly and was impatient. Order came wrong the first time so we took it back and got a milkshake instead which also was wrong. When we asked for it to be changed they were rude and were very visibly annoyed. Instead of replacing the whole thing they just scraped off the whipped cream. Also ordered a drink that did not come and we had to go up to the counter again to receive it after asking multiple times. Overall very disappointing as the food is enjoyable but customer service is not the best or the friendliest. Wouldn’t recommend this specific kaspas…"

"We made a reservation here for our Christmas Day meal. It was a disaster - we waited half an hour for our starter, which was not good at all. When our main course finally arrived, it was cold and looked like leftovers. The Yorkshire puddings were hard as bricks and the steak was extremely salty. We couldn't eat any of it and ended up leaving. It was a terrible experience, and we weren't the only ones who felt this way. I would recommend avoiding this place for a Christmas Day meal. The food and drinks were awful, and I would give the rooms a rating of 1 out of 5."

"My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on Sunday, 17th December with my son, son-in-law, and three grandsons. We live in Kent and they live in Redditch, so it was a bit of a journey to get there, but it was definitely worth it! We had a wonderful table and the food was excellent, with something for everyone, even my very picky 13-year-old. What made the experience even more special was our server, Summer. She was a delightful and pleasant young lady who was attentive without being intrusive. She made sure we had everything we needed, asked if there was anything extra we wanted, and served each course with a smile and professionalism. I realized when paying the bill that no service charge was added, so I wanted to leave a tip to show my appreciation for the great service. Unfortunately, I only had a card and no cash, so I couldn't leave a tip. I wanted to show my appreciation for Summer's excellent service, so I decided to write this review to let her know. Well done, Summer! You helped make our lunch very special and I am grateful for your outstanding service. Sly Cotterill."

"Visited kaspas in cwmbran with a couple friends a week ago. Was waiting at the door for around 5 minutes before being seated. Ordered food, it came fairly quickly and was too a good standard. However we had no cutlery. Made eye contact with the worker and she brought over cutlery, but it was only spoons. Had to go ask for a knife and fork, as spoons are impractical for waffles and crepes. The worker said There is some in the bucket I just gave you When there clearly wasnt. They also forgot my coke, which I had to ask for on the way out, and I also didnt recieve an apology for. The vibes were not good, the food was decent, the service was appauling. I would expect a good experience for the price I paid."

"I brought my family (6 of us) here for a meal. We were sat down in a waiting area whilst the table was prepared and I asked if we could order a drink. The woman I asked looked at me like I’d asked if I had just crawled out from under a stone. My mum then asked the same woman if there were any more toilets and she was also given the same stare and was really rude to my mum. I wanted to leave but my family were not so keen as they’d travelled some way to specifically eat here. Unfortunately this woman was also the person who was serving us. I felt awkward and when you think the bill came to over £400 it really wasn’t acceptable. Luckily she went off shift and 3 other people were in charge who couldn’t have been any nicer. They were called Alex, Adrienne Olly. The food was good and the view is absolutely breathtaking. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it if you’re lucky enough to have anyone but the woman I’d describe as late30s/dark hair (we went on 2/12/2023 at 2.30pm) looking after you. I should add the staff were all lovely and it was only the woman I described who was rude. Would I go back? Based on her it’s a no. But based on food, view and the other staff it’s a yes."

"on Sunday, 4th september I visited a 50th birthday dinner in this sweet intimate restaurant. the arrival were the employees and owners brilliant, really friendly and could not do enough for us. we had the hunch and the bark. they were both cooked for perfection and the taste was from this world. they even asked how we cooked the bark pink or well, this is great as the place always serve pink and I don't like it pink, so this was a really nice option to be asked how I wanted it! for pudding we had strawberry shortcake that was also delicious! everything was fresh and the taste was excellent. if they want to eat something special, then this is the place, or if they don't see a dinner for their birthday or special occasions, they go into this restaurant I promise you won't be disappointed. the food was amazing and the service was two to none! we will visit them again!"

"The family went to celebrate my grandson’s fifth birthday. After an hour and a half there was no sign of our order. My daughter suggested that they refunded our money and they started making it. I went to the counter after 10 minutes and it was on the side. I asked if that was our order and they said yes. I stood there while the staff photographed their creation and until they actually picked it up. When they started to carry it to the table the happy birthday song began but it lost its impact because the staff took so many selfies with it. It arrived eventually with candles unlit and the waitress gave us a lighter so we could light our own candles. What?? Never again. First and last visit. Nil points. Soggy waffles expensive for what we had"

"Have eaten here a couple of times recently on the last 2 occasions we were lucky to get a table, the cafe is huge with loads of tables but it's obviously very popular hence the difficulty getting a seat. Once seated we loved the menu especially as we are vegetarian so lovely to get some different options. I had the eggs ambio which was gorgeous then today had the goats cheese and onion toast with additional chips. Yes it's a bit expensive and did have a little wait both to order given the size of the queue then to get the food but it's worth it. The cakes look amazing and I really enjoyed the slice of coffee cake I had. The tables outside looking onto the river are great. Loads of free parking and next door to the motor museum, couldn't ask for more."

"I cannot recommend this place enough. I would fly to Liverpool (or make sure it's in my UK itinerary) to visit this place. The desserts are decadent with awesome portion sizes. The service is excellent. This place, man--just freaking WOW!!! Everything we ordered hit the spot for all of us. I would like to especially call out and thank Luqman, the waiter/host who took care of us. He is one of the friendliest, gracious, and kind people I have ever met. He spoiled us rotten (kids and adults). He needs to be recognized by Kaspa's owner and managers for just how awesome he is. Dude, I can't wait to go back to this place again. "Visit today was good. Got there for opening time but couldn't believe it was our 5 and about another 10 people. Was shocked for a Saturday, but it could be the time of year. Food was nice fresh apart from Mini spring rolls, and the coke was terrible worse than Pepsi. More like rola cola your mum used to buy at the supermarket. Hence, the 4 stars and not 5. Many cameras gave the impression they had a lot of trouble there. There were actually more cameras than the last time I was there. Staff were pleasant, not going out of their way but not meithering you either. I prefer this. Iv never had the experience that some others have had, but I do give myself at least an hour to eat before closing because I don't need to be babysat and understand what closing time means. So at 12 today when they opened I was there. I gave myself plenty of time and some extra time if needed before they closed again at 2.30. Price is £10.80 for adults and about 4 quid for children. Not everything is available for lunch. I'm not sure of night time price."

"We had been recommended by friends in the village to go here. We were shown to our table, and given the menus. In a way I'm glad I didn't go for a starter, as the main was so filling. Drinks orders were taken. Mine was a Beef Shin with tagliatelle. Others had a curry. The chunks of beef were large bitesize, and absolutely gorgeous. Sauce matched, and the whole thing really filled you up. 4 beers were available on tap, that I saw. A Timothy Taylor's (NOT Landlord, but another of their range), an Oakam Ale from Rutland and 2 others I forget which. Staff were great, I think we must have been checked on about 5-6 times over the meal and preamble. If I was in the area again, I'd definitely go back."

"my wife Placed an order for a very bery Cherry sundae and a tripple chocolate fudge cake at 9pm on Tuesday 3rd October2023 through justeat. this was never delivered, instead it was cancelled and we did not know about it until just before 10pm on the 4th October 2023. I find this extremely disappointing, not to mention unprofessional it should not take a full hour to deliver chilled and frozen products to customers only 1.5 miles from the kaspas didcot icecream parlour. neither should it take an hour to let the customer know their order was Not fulfilled. Kaspas forgot rules 1 and 2 in retail, give the customer what they asked for or if they are unable to fulfill an order notify the customer so they can collect their order..clearly Kaspas failed in both regards and if they do this with all their customers who order online then they may loose customers and business.Nd receive bad reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"We’ve visited this charming café twice in the past two weeks, which speaks volumes! It's a beautiful and inviting spot with a fantastic vegan menu, and they also cater to gluten-free diets. "For several months I drove passed a couple of Riverview signs on my way to visit my mum who lives in Hamsterly. On one visit, I thought I'd pop down into Blackhall Mill to see if I could get something tasty to have with a cup of tea... I wasn't disappointed. Fresh produce included: breads, cream cakes, biscuits, scones along with a large selection of savoury items.. can also pick up milk, fruit and veg. as well.
