"I’ve been to Kaspas several times, and each visit just gets more and more disappointing. This time, however, was the worst. The toilet seat in the ladies cubicle was broken, to the point it partly slid off the pan whilst I was sitting on it, which resulted in me being thrown forward and bumping my head on the corner of the sink. This is extremely dangerous. Our waitress was grumpy and rude. Don’t know the name (no name badges for staff) but was only very young with medium brown hair. Two of my friends and I asked for glasses of tap water, which was cloudy and came in dirty glasses. Finally, the food was stone cold. Won’t be coming here again. Think I’ll go to Little Dessert Shop or Legendary Waffles next time. At least they know how to give acceptable customer service."

"A total gem indeed! We visited after seeing the highly rated reviews whilst travelling passed Newcastle and needing some lunch. We had two fabulous burgers which were cooked perfectly an a very generous portion. Alongside two drinks, these meals cost a total off £24. Amazing value! We also took some cakes out and these were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend and will certainly return if in the area."

"Order was missing 3 whole milkshakes £18) Phoned up store. Manager stated there was “nothing she could do” for me. Saying even though I placed delivery I would have to come and collect the outstanding items. Proceeded to then not assist in helping with a refund, then hung up on me twice, then when she picked back up she insisted it was not her who hung up and lied that she hadn’t. Order was placed around 2100hrs, the phone call I had with the manger was around 2204hrs and it was quite clear she was 4 minutes past her clock off time and gave no consideration to the customers dilemma that her store had placed them in. Truly the worst piece of customer service I have been receipt off, I truly hope the SLT at Kaspas trace the call back and review it in hope of using it to provide better training to others. And I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy however, the manger I spoke to needs to be dealt with, and stuck on some development plan. Romford store 2200hrs, female European manager approx 20-30 years old."

"I thought that the exacution was good The crab bone marrow was decent- could have used some salsa verde and Avocado mousse. I do enjoy a fresh Masa..... This would have made the tacos stand out a bit ... Lot of Labor That went into the prep, place and cooking would have shined a bit more.... "Good varied menu and selection of cakes. Reasonable prices . Food didn't take long to come despite it being quite busy. Food was fresh, and a good sized portion, and nicely presented. Great front of house service from the waitress, she was very efficient, friendly and helpful about menu choices. Plus a nice little shop to buy meals and other goodies to take home. Parking: Parking on site, plus overflow parking available in field opposite . Service: Dine in"

"I would give this restaurant 5 stars for their amazing food, but unfortunately we have had issues two out of the times that we've ordered from here. The first time, we ordered a halloumi wrap and they delivered a chicken one instead, which was a big mistake considering my girlfriend is vegetarian. The second time, they forgot one of the meal boxes that was supposed to be my dinner. Despite trying to call them for 40 minutes afterwards to rectify the mistake and not getting any answer, I'm afraid I can't give them 5 stars."

"I have never encountered such poor customer service before. To start, they brought out the wrong order. When I pointed it out, they blamed me for it not being noted on the ticket. They then switched my meal to a new plate but still included remnants of an ingredient I'm allergic to. When I returned it, the staff argued with me but eventually agreed to redo the order. On the third attempt, they finally delivered the correct meal, but simply placed it in front of me without any apology or eye contact. I have a group of 10 friends coming to Hemsby next week, and I can assure you they won't be spending their money here. Absolutely appalling service, and the attitude was terrible! Dietary restrictions: None noted."

"As expected, the storm forced us to cancel our 5-year-old's birthday plans. In need of some fresh air and a quick meal, we decided to visit Newquay town. Pauline's creamery had a display of amazing cakes that caught our attention. They have a dining area upstairs which we took advantage of. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and they even noticed it was our son's birthday and placed a candle on his dessert while singing happy birthday. This level of customer service and attention to detail was truly appreciated. Thank you for lifting our son's spirits on such an unexpected day. "that was my fifth visit to michael house. it won't be my last, all is good! michael house is really a small piece of paradise for visiting vegans. there are all they need from a warm welcome, comfortable rooms with cruel free care products and a tea tablet (plus fresh vegetable milk readily available for this post walk cuppa, the beautiful coast just a stone throw away, and not least the food! it would be worth to stay for eating alone (but I recommend to them to check the beach while they are there. from the beginning of the day to the bed, vanessa can provide for her meals if necessary. the full michael is enough to satisfy the hungry appetite at breakfast, and includes freshly baked brot to graze up while waiting. In the evening meal may be 2 or 3 courses depending on the appetit, and my new stay included some divine offers including a velvety smooth tomato soup that I can never replicate at home, a delicious sweetheart, a nourishing Buddha bowl and the legendary strawberry shortcake. all highly recommended! if you need a lunch package, vanessa can also make sure that we have made for her home hummus, home made bread, fresh vegetables and chocolate dessert. we ate it on a hill with a look at padstow estuary and no scrap was left! vanessa has beautiful dogs and cats, berri and velvet (dogs will welcome them a warm and furry when they are a dog lover. what are you waiting for? if you enjoy being pampered by beautiful hostes in a stunning part of cornwall, you will get booked now!"

"Stopped for takeaway coffee today and wasn’t impressed. Both the cappuccino and the caramel latte were quite milky tasting with very little coffee taste Quite disappointing. Response to owner’s reply firstly this is Google not Trip Advisor and secondly if you believe your coffee needs to be stirred before drinking then you should make customers aware rather than just handing it to them. The coffee definitely lacked flavour in my opinion (which is exactly what a review is my opinion). It might be an idea to remake the two drinks I’ve reviewed (as they were made for me), taste them then re read my original review, rather than going straight to a defensive reply"

"We came for afternoon tea, due to good review and pictures. The staff were very lovely and the food was well presented but the savoury options weren’t great and one of our group could barely eat the sandwiches or the cheese scone. The sweet options were better. Glasses for the prosecco needed cleaning and everything else crockery, tea, environment just felt a little like a greasy cafe, which wasn’t the expectation from how it’s presented on open table. Am sure it’s great for a toasted sandwich, etc. but not a place you want to drink prosecco and have afternoon tea."

"The Sun, top end of the village (well lets say the Oxford end), is a nice friendly pub, with a nice garden that does get a good sunset glow; visually busy decor inside (which i like) and relaxed atmosphere a credit to those who work there. Like the other pubs in the village, I fear very much use it or loose it, and be grateful it made it through COVID! Did not get chance to try the food, but will be back soon to do just this.... Service: 5"

"I'm concerned that this restaurant is operated by an organization known as the Twelve Tribes, which has been linked to troubling beliefs and practices. There are serious allegations against them, including support for mass genocide, antisemitism, racism, and homophobia, as well as reports of child abuse. It's been documented that they may exploit child labor, with disturbing footage available online showing harsh treatment of children, some as young as three years old, if they make mistakes while working. I urge everyone to research this issue before choosing to support their establishment. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"My dining experience at the restaurant was overall mediocre. We ordered a lentil with tomato soup, a roll, and a slice of Pink Velvet Cake. The soup was tasty, but the café itself was just average. Unfortunately, they were out of several menu items due to the large crowds. They had both indoor and outdoor seating options available. Despite having enough staff based on the size of the restaurant, they seemed overwhelmed. It took about 25 minutes for us to receive our soup, so I ended up going to the counter to pick up our order instead of waiting for the server to bring it to our table."

"I ordered an amazing cake for my mother’s 60th birthday, and I couldn’t have been happier with it. They followed my request perfectly and even added some sparkling decorations as a delightful surprise! My mother loved the cake, and it tasted fantastic. I would definitely recommend their birthday cakes, as they offer beautiful creations in their shop. The service was excellent!"

"I stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the food and drinks—they were quite tasty. My main concern was the service. There was only one staff member handling orders, making drinks, and cooking, which caused delays in getting our food. This was challenging with two toddlers in tow. On a positive note, the restrooms are equipped with baby changing facilities, including some diapers, which is a great feature for an independent business. Overall, I dined in."

"Went in while visiting Penarth, but clear attitude and off atmosphere from the start because we weren 't from there/didn 't fit the right 'look ' of Penarth. Even though the policy was no outside food/drinks (which is understandable), so we were immediately addressed with awful attitude when we tried drinking our own drink. However, we HAD purchased some food/drink, so it was clear we were just not good enough customers for them (even though it was not busy). We weren 't even given a chance to explain we had purchased from them and that dietary restrictions meant one person needed to drink what they had brought with them from home. Huge difference in attitude seen with other customers because they were in business attire."

"We usually order burgers from Shake Shack every week or every two weeks, but this time they made a mistake with our order so we received a refund immediately (thankfully, deliveroo is very helpful in situations like this). As a result, we decided to try Five Guys instead. Personally, I enjoyed the finer, softer ground patty at Five Guys because I have dental issues and some burgers can be difficult to chew. The complimentary toppings were alright but a bit skimpy, and all the flavors seemed to blend together, making it hard to distinguish the jalapeños, grilled mushrooms, and onions. The seeded bun was nice but became a bit soggy during delivery. The fries are excellent if you don't mind the skin, and the small size is more than enough for two people, although the price reflects that. If you prefer plain burgers, the meat flavor at Five Guys may be somewhat lacking compared to Shake Shack. Overall, I would consider going back to Five Guys, but I am still open to exploring other options."
