"I’ve been to Kaspas several times, and each visit just gets more and more disappointing. This time, however, was the worst. The toilet seat in the ladies cubicle was broken, to the point it partly slid off the pan whilst I was sitting on it, which resulted in me being thrown forward and bumping my head on the corner of the sink. This is extremely dangerous. Our waitress was grumpy and rude. Don’t know the name (no name badges for staff) but was only very young with medium brown hair. Two of my friends and I asked for glasses of tap water, which was cloudy and came in dirty glasses. Finally, the food was stone cold. Won’t be coming here again. Think I’ll go to Little Dessert Shop or Legendary Waffles next time. At least they know how to give acceptable customer service."

"For several months I drove passed a couple of Riverview signs on my way to visit my mum who lives in Hamsterly. On one visit, I thought I'd pop down into Blackhall Mill to see if I could get something tasty to have with a cup of tea... I wasn't disappointed. Fresh produce included: breads, cream cakes, biscuits, scones along with a large selection of savoury items.. can also pick up milk, fruit and veg. as well. Oh, they're also serve a limited menu of takeaway meals. Don't know why I'd left it so long to call in.. I now call in every time I visit mum. I'd def. recommend give the bakery a try.."

"Order was missing 3 whole milkshakes £18) Phoned up store. Manager stated there was “nothing she could do” for me. Saying even though I placed delivery I would have to come and collect the outstanding items. Proceeded to then not assist in helping with a refund, then hung up on me twice, then when she picked back up she insisted it was not her who hung up and lied that she hadn’t. Order was placed around 2100hrs, the phone call I had with the manger was around 2204hrs and it was quite clear she was 4 minutes past her clock off time and gave no consideration to the customers dilemma that her store had placed them in. Truly the worst piece of customer service I have been receipt off, I truly hope the SLT at Kaspas trace the call back and review it in hope of using it to provide better training to others. And I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy however, the manger I spoke to needs to be dealt with, and stuck on some development plan. Romford store 2200hrs, female European manager approx 20-30 years old."

"My favourite is the fish taco and the fried chicken taco! Love love love! I loved it so much I went back the next following weekend. Next time I hope to try the plate of fried chicken! Also, if this place was to ever to the baha fish taco as a sandwich...I would be all over that!"

"idyllic location, not too far from the beaten, but enough to be peaceful and relaxing. well ordered, clean, friendly and helpful teamworkers combine to make a very happy experience. our first visit so only a fast coffee and cake, but the coffee was excellent with a perfect cream and only the right starch. kuchen? very good and a reasonable size for the price. personally I would have the lemon meringue pipe a hauch less sweet and more. the lemon smoke the woman tasted more lemony, but also so it was excellent. we're coming back."

"What a great venue for the Toyah concert last night. The staff were very hospitable and the barn where the concert was held was very spacious with its own bar and toilets. Onsite car parking is limited but there is plenty of safe car parking on the street near the pub. Toyah was fantastic the support group The Kahunas were very good. I had a brilliant night all round a big thank you to everyone involved."

"As a gym member, I frequently dine at this restaurant with my children. The menu offers something for everyone with a variety of fresh and delicious options. One of my favorites is the Avocado smash, the salads are vibrant and flavorful, and the healthy pizzas are a hit with the kids. Before leaving the gym, we always grab a refreshing smoothie to enjoy on the go. If you haven't already, I highly recommend trying out this place!"

"I have never encountered such poor customer service before. To start, they brought out the wrong order. When I pointed it out, they blamed me for it not being noted on the ticket. They then switched my meal to a new plate but still included remnants of an ingredient I'm allergic to. When I returned it, the staff argued with me but eventually agreed to redo the order. On the third attempt, they finally delivered the correct meal, but simply placed it in front of me without any apology or eye contact. I have a group of 10 friends coming to Hemsby next week, and I can assure you they won't be spending their money here. Absolutely appalling service, and the attitude was terrible! Dietary restrictions: None noted."

"As expected, the storm forced us to cancel our 5-year-old's birthday plans. In need of some fresh air and a quick meal, we decided to visit Newquay town. Pauline's creamery had a display of amazing cakes that caught our attention. They have a dining area upstairs which we took advantage of. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and they even noticed it was our son's birthday and placed a candle on his dessert while singing happy birthday. This level of customer service and attention to detail was truly appreciated. Thank you for lifting our son's spirits on such an unexpected day. "This was my 5th visit to Michael House. It won't be my last, all being well! Michael House really is a little piece of paradise for visiting vegans. There is everything you need, from a warm welcome, comfortable rooms with cruelty free toiletries and a tea tray (plus fresh plant milk easily available for that post walk cuppa , the beautiful seaside just a a stone's throw away, and last but by no means least the FOOD! It would be worth staying, for the food alone (but I recommend you check out the beach whilst you're there... . From the start of the day until bedtime, Vanessa can cater for your every meal if required. The full Michael is enough to satisfy the hungriest of appetites at breakfast, and includes freshly baked bread to graze on whilst you wait. Evening meals can be 2 or 3 courses depending on your appetite, and my recent stay included some divine offerings including a velvet smooth tomato soup which I'll never be able to replicate at home, a delicious vegetable satay, a nourishing Buddha Bowl and the legendary strawberry shortcake. All highly recommended! If you need a packed lunch, Vanessa can also arrange that for you we had home made hummus, home made bread, fresh veggies and chocolate dessert. We ate it sitting on a hilltop overlooking Padstow Estuary and not a scrap was left! Vanessa has gorgeous pet dogs and cats, Berri and Velvet (dogs will give you a warm and furry welcome if you are a dog lover. What are you waiting for? If you enjoy being pampered by lovely hosts in a stunning part of Cornwall, get yourself booked in now!"

"We like tea and cake. No doubt about it. We've taken Afternoon Tea in all sorts of places. The most prestigious hotel in London yes. One of the most popular English stately homes yes. A brasserie in a provincial English city yes....But the best Afternoon Tea of all? You have to go to Wigan for that! Admittedly the posh end of Wigan Mrs Lyon's Tea Room in Standish. It's delightfully homely, with a choice of teas; a choice of freshly made sandwiches; scones still warm from the oven, and a choice of cake ranging from the traditional Victoria sponge to interesting concoctions involving Ferrero Rocher. Superb. Three of us met for tea at Mrs Lyon's everything was perfectly chintz. In a good way. If I was entertaining visitors from abroad, Mrs Lyon's is the kind of place I'd take them to, to prove that whatever the country is going through there are still little pockets of sanity! The service was excellent: attentive but not intrusive. Extra clotted cream to go with the scones? Certainly! At the end of our visit when I paid at the counter, I congratulated the two young women who had served us: it was an excellent tea. Hearing the praise, another lady popped her head through the serving hatch from the kitchen (Was this The Real Mrs Lyon She beamed! As did a young lad who was assisting her. If this was a family operation, it was even more praiseworthy. Of all the places in England I've had Afternoon Tea, this is the one that I will return to. Long may they continue!"

"Really excellent visit. Club room above main venue, small room with a few tables. Very welcoming staff and friendly. Sunday lunch beef/turkey/roast gammon and larger portions available ideal for my 2 teenager sons who relished this. Decent portions good cooked food , lots of vegetable choices and decent proper Yorkshire puddings. A real hidden gem. a slight mishap with drinks split but manager very apologetic and bar bill not charged. would definitely recommend to book here for Sunday lunch. proper food."

"This is such a beautiful place. In a small little Village it has such a relaxing feel to it. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The service is good and the staff were attentive. The food was very good. It was served nicely. We had a Sunday lunch , there was a Yorkshire pudding, and meat and then you had vegetables and certain side dishes served separately. The portion was just right. The place itself was clean and decorated so beautifully to make it cozy. You could also sit outside. The toilet was quite big and looked very clean. Really enjoyed this place."

"The coffee is excellent and reasonably priced, plus it’s refillable for black coffee (though I'm not sure about other types). The food is delicious, and the cheese toasties are particularly noteworthy. The interior design adds to the charm; it's undoubtedly the most beautiful café/deli I've ever visited. I've heard that the staff spent years hand-renovating the space, and it truly shows. On sunny days, sitting upstairs at the back offers stunning views of the Blackdown Hills. On rainy days or in the evening, you can enjoy the cozy booths and dark wood decor downstairs. There are plenty of plug sockets if you plan to use your laptop. Overall, this is easily the best coffee spot in Honiton, and it's completely unique."

"Good quality home baking, soup and proper toasted sandwiches. If the weather is kind it is lovely to sit in the garden among the fuchsia bushes.Service is friendly. The only issue is with the 'tradition ' that seems to have developed on Iona (and much of Mull) where businesses close down completely at the end of the season . Visitors to Scotland no longer restrict themselves to the traditional season in the same way as a few years ago, so although visitor numbers are obviously higher in the Spring and Summer, they do not disappear come October. Coach loads of tourists still arrive at Ffionnphort every day and the vast majority take the ferry over to Iona.It is a shame that visitors to somewhere as special as Iona are faced with closed businesses from as early as mid-October.If you visit between Easter and October, it 's well worth a visit for a hot drink and cake on your way to or from the abbey."

"After wanting to visit here for a while I finally got the chance to go!! Was not disappointed, we had afternoon tea and it was lovely!! The staff are very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Millies mother (sorry did not manage to get your name! for being so friendly she really made us have a special time. The cakes on display looked incredible so we also took a slice of cake each home with us to enjoy later. Will return soon."

"I stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the food and drinks—they were quite tasty. My main concern was the service. There was only one staff member handling orders, making drinks, and cooking, which caused delays in getting our food. This was challenging with two toddlers in tow. On a positive note, the restrooms are equipped with baby changing facilities, including some diapers, which is a great feature for an independent business. Overall, I dined in."

"Went in while visiting Penarth, but clear attitude and off atmosphere from the start because we weren 't from there/didn 't fit the right 'look ' of Penarth. Even though the policy was no outside food/drinks (which is understandable), so we were immediately addressed with awful attitude when we tried drinking our own drink. However, we HAD purchased some food/drink, so it was clear we were just not good enough customers for them (even though it was not busy). We weren 't even given a chance to explain we had purchased from them and that dietary restrictions meant one person needed to drink what they had brought with them from home. Huge difference in attitude seen with other customers because they were in business attire."

"I am a big Five Guys fan but the food here is cooked below par. The burger patty was over cooked and the bacon so over cooked and disintegrated that it left a burnt bad taste in my mouth. The chips (usually my favourite thing from Five Guys) were both burnt on the outside and undercooked in the centre. The man at the till was extremely friendly and amenable. Sadly it seems that there is too much pressure on the cooking team to meet the demands of steady stream of deliberó drives. I would avoid this Five Guys and order from the Dalston one if possible"
