"that was my fifth visit to michael house. it won't be my last, all is good! michael house is really a small piece of paradise for visiting vegans. there are all they need from a warm welcome, comfortable rooms with cruel free care products and a tea tablet (plus fresh vegetable milk readily available for this post walk cuppa, the beautiful coast just a stone throw away, and not least the food! it would be worth to stay for eating alone (but I recommend to them to check the beach while they are there. from the beginning of the day to the bed, vanessa can provide for her meals if necessary. the full michael is enough to satisfy the hungry appetite at breakfast, and includes freshly baked brot to graze up while waiting. In the evening meal may be 2 or 3 courses depending on the appetit, and my new stay included some divine offers including a velvety smooth tomato soup that I can never replicate at home, a delicious sweetheart, a nourishing Buddha bowl and the legendary strawberry shortcake. all highly recommended! if you need a lunch package, vanessa can also make sure that we have made for her home hummus, home made bread, fresh vegetables and chocolate dessert. we ate it on a hill with a look at padstow estuary and no scrap was left! vanessa has beautiful dogs and cats, berri and velvet (dogs will welcome them a warm and furry when they are a dog lover. what are you waiting for? if you enjoy being pampered by beautiful hostes in a stunning part of cornwall, you will get booked now!"

I thoroughly enjoyed the Puddings Galore evening which was put on as part of the Vegan Festival of Britain. Very friendly and welcoming, will definitely go back for a longer visit.

I have stayed at Michael House so often I can't count the times. It offers a warm welcome, beautiful rooms and fabulous views. Vanessa's vegan breakfast keeps me fuelled all day. And there is the promise of vegan dinner if requested.

This is a wonderful little oasis for vegans or anyone who appreciates stunning landscapes and is in need of a relaxing retreat. I could even see the sea from my bedroom window! Vanessa is an exceptional host and prepares delicious meals. I traveled alone and felt at ease as soon as I arrived. I would definitely like to come back!

Michael House is a beautiful Vegan B&B tucked away moments away from King Arthur's hitorical town of Tintagel. The views from the bedrooms and dining that look out over steep cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean are breathtaking, the rooms are lovely, so comfy and very spacious. The food is possibly the best food you can eat anywhere in the whole country. Michael House is an absolute delight and a must visit for a holiday in Cornwall.

We had a wonderful long-awaited visit with Vanessa, Simon, and their lovely furry family. The breakfast, especially the freshly baked goods, was absolutely delicious. The dinner was worth every penny, with a fantastic selection of hearty meals. The view from the lookout was simply breathtaking, and the location is perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings. We had a great time and hope to return soon. Best wishes from Milly, Andy, and the gray dog. x

We had a great stay here; it was a very comfortable and relaxing place to be and Vanessa, a lovely host, cooks up a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit salad, homemade muesli, fresh warm bread and then a full English including scrambled tofu, sausages, tomatoes, rosti, beans and mushrooms. We had dinner here too a couple of times and that was just as tasty. You can choose 2 or 3 courses for all who are eating out of a long list of options. Or if you can't decide, then ask for a surprise, it's bound to be yummy.

Vanessa, our wonderful host, was supported by Simon and a few adorable furry companions. Pickle and Tippy, in particular, provided delightful feline company day and night. The breakfast was fabulous, and the evening meals were prepared to order and served in a charming dining room. Vanessa is incredibly fun and open to chatting about her home, her food, and her furry friends, while Simon joins us whenever he can, despite his busy schedule. Overall, it’s a peaceful, friendly, and comfortable guesthouse located in a quiet village, yet easily accessible to local attractions. Thank you for a lovely stay, and warm hugs to Pickle, Tippy, and all the other furry friends!

We were welcomed into the guest house by Vanessa (the owner). We were immediately struck by the cleanliness of the guest house. The two bedrooms were both en suite. The front bedroom had a view out to the sea which was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with cleaning materials and towels. The bath was deep and big enough to stretch out and relax in! For an evening meal (book in advance). We chose a somewhat traditional French Onion Soup followed by Shepherds Pie and vegetables. Everything was vegan (of course) and cooked perfectly. There was a selection of wine, beer and cider. In the morning we had a superb breakfast, there was plenty of fruit, muesli,...
