"Visited the Nap as we had read the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed! We shared the nachos as a starter.....yummy! I ordered the homemade burger which came with cheese, bacon and relish, salad and ‘proper’ chips and was probably one of the best burgers I have ever tasted! My husband ordered the chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto on a bed of mushrooms and pea risotto, again delicious! After a breather we shared an apple crumble and custard and yes you’ve guessed it, totally tasty!! A proper old fashioned pub with helpful and friendly staff and also doggy friendly! Perfect for our last night in Cornwall!"

This is a fantastic pub, really good food, great selection of ales that are kept and served so well, great staff and loads going on there. A great community pub that makes everyone feel so welcome!

Amazing roast dinner. Sat here now just finished one of the best roast dinners I have had in a very long time. Lovely pub, really friendly staff and glorious sunshine just to top it off. If you are in Boscastle the walk up the hill to the Napoleon Inn is definitely worth it.

Lovely pub with excellent atmosphere. Busy crowd of locals and visitors and a roaring fire. Only negative is the sparkly 'art ' dotted around the pub really not a good look in such a traditional place; way too 'GCSE Art Project ' for such a nice venue red lips and sea horses etc with glitter :

on Wednesday we made a meal. the pub was dizzy! the only available table was a bit out of the way in the restaurant area and that was because it was quiz night. we accepted an invitation to join a couple and had great food and great fun quizzing! our meal was really nice, but better still we won the quiz! I'm sorry that we went without payment, happy that they caught us on the road!
