The cafe was very cosy and the staff were very nice. Great coffee selection, cake and authentic food. Different to other cafes in mumbles!

Our family visited to try the Japanese Breakfast and we loved it. The ladies working here are really friendly and it was amazing value at under £20 for the four of us. All we can say is give it a go!

Cha-ty is run by a Japanese owner and the food is very authentic. It has a warm and relaxing atmosphere plus a large selection of teas and coffee. I highly recommend this place. There are also lots of different Japanese goods for sale(including lots of hand crafted products) スウォンジーで本格的な日本食がいただけるカフェです。とても美味しくてアットホームな雰囲気なのでリラックスできます！

My husband and I recently enjoyed breakfast at Cha-ty and it was a delightful discovery. We opted for the Japanese breakfast, a refreshing and healthier option compared to a traditional cooked breakfast. The food was impeccably presented, the staff were attentive, and there were complimentary daily newspapers available. We will definitely be returning. The price of £4.40 was very reasonable, especially considering it includes miso soup and green tea.

I love the freshly brewed coffee options at Cha ty. I stopped by for breakfast a few weeks ago but missed out because the opening time had changed from 8:30 to 9:00. However, I had an outstanding lunch on another day. I can't quite remember what it was called, but it was noodles topped with grated cabbage, carrots, and other veggies, all coated in a tasty soy sauce. I definitely plan on returning when I can. I stumbled across this today and what an absolute delight. The food was wholesome and superb, a real Japanese experience with two wonderful ladies cooking and serving. They were friendly, warm and welcoming, I could have spent all day there. It was atmospheric with quality food and could not believe how much value for money it was. I noticed one review said it was a limited menu, which you should never be afraid of as it means they do what they do extremely well and had everything you needed. I will be back and I urge people to support them.

I’ve just moved to the area and was looking for a place to get a healthy takeaway lunch and a tasty coffee I couldn’t have come across a better place to fit the brief!! The staff were very welcoming, guiding me on the coffees available and offered me a seat. Whilst I waited lovely music played, the customers looked happy and relaxed, so I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Upon arriving home, I was truly delighted by the portion size, taste and presentation of the food, and the coffee was outstanding! I am so happy to have found Cha Ty straight after moving in! : back soon!

I have been to Cha-ty several times with friends, but recently took my husband for his first visit. Today, I feel incredibly lucky to have tried their mocha green tea chocolate cake after brunch—it tastes heavenly! I love this place not only for its authentic Japanese cuisine, but also for its simplicity and excellent quality in presentation. In addition to their delicious green tea, I must also mention that their coffee is probably the best in town. The prices are reasonable and the restroom is amazing—it reminds me of Japan, which I miss dearly from my previous trip there. View menu
