"The appetizer was fantastic, but I could make a better main course at home. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was lacking, though the shrimp was good. It seems like they simply provided the raw ingredients. I recommend going to San Carlos in town to learn how to cook properly. If you are not familiar with authentic Italian cuisine, this average quality may be sufficient for you. Otherwise, you may be more satisfied with the steak dishes."

"I booked a table on OpenTable a few days before our visit, but I was disappointed when we arrived. There was no record of our reservation, and unfortunately, there was no space available for us, despite the waiter acknowledging my email confirmation. I would recommend 'La Piazza' down the road, which was excellent; they managed to find us a table even though they were very busy."

"I had a very good customer experience since the beginning where I received a warm welcome in the reception. the environment is very cozy and Italian wise. I have experienced a very relaxing music in the background, like Italian artists like laura pausini. my friend and I ordered a very large part of the garlic break and 1 carbonara each, the pasta was very juicy and tasteful. in short, I really recommend this restaurant, I will probably be a more frequent customer!"

"Average food and very slow service. Our food took over 45 minutes; the couple next to us, over an hour. We asked how long the food would take as we had somewhere to be only to be told about 5 minutes multiple times. My recommendation to the restaurant is to let customers know if the kitchen will be slow, and to give them some indiciation of how long they will be waiting."

"My Wife I moved into Fulham 5 months ago and Pappa Ciccia was recommended by an Italian we know, from the moment we entered the Restaurant the Staff were fantastic and what also stuck out was how many Italian customers. The food we ordered was more that filling, we both said that we would starve ourselves prior to our next visit, we have made many visits since that first one. In fact we are taking our eldest Son and his partner there on Sunday. Alan"

"This was our experience. It may only be a one off but it shows how management got it so wrong. When we went there, the back of the restaurant was sectioned off for a party of 50+ people. The noise and music level was horrendous. Like we were eating in the middle of a very rowdy suburban nightclub. This goes on for the duration of the whole meal and we had to shout to get heard most of the time. Also, as a result of this, there is only one toilet cubicle for everyone else in the restaurant as the other toilets are in the party area. Unacceptable. The food itself is nothing to write home about but the servers were very inexperienced and got many things wrong. Our waitress was attentive and apologetic but there is nothing she can do about any of the above and we just felt sorry for her. We told management about this at the end of the meal but only got a shrug. I hope the party pay them enough as I wont be going back here. What a shame as the Criterion (which this used to be) was a very classy though admittedly a little stiffy joint."

"Usually go to Richmond to meet with family for evening dinner, but parking getting worse and worse. Chiswick proved a great alternative with evening parking a lot easier than daytime, albeit Chiswick is well served by Tube Overground. Closest tube to Valentina's is Chiswick Park about a 5 minute walk. The restaurant front part is an Italian deli, with the restaurant behind and an inviting glowing pizza oven towards the rear. Reception and attentiveness of staff throughout was excellent. Food range was well thought through with sufficient if not more for the vegetarian diner. We had 3 course meal with drinks for a group of 4 and it worked out all in £37.50 a head. Very pleasant ambience, relaxed but attentive and quality superb. Would definitely go again."

"Unfortunately, we were placed at a table next to the bar, which seemed a Spillover table, without decorations like at other tables next to us (I heard that the lead waiter moved our booking to a larger table that had come). We also had the smell of the rods, which was unpleasant and were pulled behind us during the meal. Our main theme was a clear discrepancy in the quality ordered by two of our dishes; especially 2 Carbonara dishes, one of which was a full taste, sauce and spices, the other we thought was actually another dish. Barely cooked spaghetti, small sauce or taste. We asked if there was a mistake and the chief waiter/manager assured us it was the same dish from another pot. We continued with the plate and returned it, as it was so different and tasteless compared to the other part. We received a replacement carbonara that was much improved, but felt disappointed about the customer service experience and overall experience in the restaurant. Unlike would we go back"

"my partner and I stay a week in london and have booked a lot of places to eat during our stay. this is a place we will relive on any future adventure. the menu is full of a series of Italian...Delights and my understanding of what to have was a beautiful dilemma. I had the baked flat mushroom with gorgonzola, honey and rocket to begin while my partner had a garlic pizzabrot. my was simply sensational and she was delicious (and easy enough to feed for net I had an eleanora pizza with prosciutto crudo, caramelized wobble, mascarpone and basilikum. the best handmade pizza I ever had! my partner had the tagliatelle pollo e funghi. tagliatelle with mushroom, pancetta and huh in a creamy white sauce. for a communal dish in many Italian restaurants this was a considerable cut over the rest. Of course we have ensured that there was room for dessert (if in rom and all that). it is always particularly exciting to see the cakes made all the house and there is a nice selection of authentic Italian dresses to choose. my partner went for a cheesecake served with fruit-couli, while I had decided to be adventurous and to start something new in the form of canolo siciliano. sweet ricotta wrapped in a fresh, thin baked baked pastry, served with pistachio ice cream and fresh strawberries. first was the cheesecake devine. there are no words for it, it's just fantastic. my adventurous to the unknown has also paid off as I can say that I have never dessert like the canolo. such a variety of aromen on a plate, supplemented with chocolate sauce and a lemon cure was only pure joy. every last crumb of our meal was sensational, as was the drinks as well as the wonderfully dipped and refreshing hot sprout. now is good eating a thing, good service is another. as gastfreundschaft arbeiter himself (I myself a chef and my partner in front of the house) appreciate and appreciate good service when we see it. the way the two waitresses worked effortlessly together, and with care and care and their insidious ability to press on an upsell without being overlaid was a joy in themselves. the handling with a lot of takeaway orders while they can take care of their guests may be difficult (we know) but they treated everything super and everyone had smile on the faces. overall, this was a fantastic evening in a brilliantly guided facility that is quite simply a must-visit place to dive!"

"eating was pretty good, but the service was terrible. it is a shame as we all enjoyed what we have ordered, the waitresses simply did not seem to have a clue as they do their job. what I ordered was not available and I was told to order something else in rude manner without a courteous order, I'm sorry that we don't have this today or even have a menu. All the sauces we asked for were not brought out and then we have been asking for them again and again. they forgot to bring out part of the order and tried to accuse us. it was not busy so I think that the staff only 't interested, and I felt terrible (I always type), but I could 't pay their additional service fee as they simply 't deserve it."

"My partner and I had a delicious meal here after the closing of my solo exhibition. We had the seafood bruschetta which was exquisite, as was our pasta mains. The owner was so lovely and offered us a taste of their homemade limoncello, which was the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend eating here for the atmosphere, good vibes, and beautifully prepared dishes. We will be back !"

"An excellent restaurant that somehow manages to stay a local secret. Charming ambiance and service with food that never disappoints. This is our go-to for birthdays, anniversaries, and parents ' visits. They have one waitress, who as far as I can tell, never has a day off is always cheerful and efficient. We came in a half hour before closing on a Friday night and when I asked Is it too late, or should we just order takeaway? she smiled and ushered me in and said It 's never too late!! Come in! I think we 'd frequent this place if the food was **** based on the service alone...that being said the food is reasonably priced and always great. A personal favorite is the pasta carbonara that comes served in what I like to call a cheese bowl (grated cheese grilled into a bowl shape)...amazing! But if you 're feeling like a really hungry hungry hippo you should go for the calzone. Enormous and delicious. The house white wine is nothing to write home about, but good value for money. If you decide to try this place out, please be good to the little waitress...would hate for this restaurant to end up like other spoiled local treasures."

"There isn’t really anything “wow” to say about Buon Gusto, other than everything was simply, ok.The food was ok. The service was ok and the interior decor was just…ok.My expectations may have been set a little too high, but at least I now know that it wouldn’t be worth the 45 minute (each way) drive for “ok” food.The restaurant is close to a multi-storey car park which makes parking a little easier. And I’m not entirely sure if the entrance is pram or wheelchair friendly, so this would be worth checking before booking as there are 3 or 4 steps which are quite steep."

However, I want to note that although I made a reservation through Open Table and received confirmation, they did not have our reservation when we arrived. The restaurant mentioned that this has happened several times despite reaching out to Open Table. Fortunately, they kindly accommodated us on a busy Friday night during peak season in Florida. Thank you, Miramare! Just a heads-up: if you make a reservation through Open Table, it's a good idea to call and confirm."
