"We were very much looking forward to our meal here as the reviews were very good. We went with some friends who we had not seen for a long time and who came into London specially. One of our friends is Gluten intolerant. When placing our order we were told that nothing on the menu was guaranteed Gluten free. When we asked what they could offer, we were told that our friend could only have a portion of plain rice noodles. We paid our drinks bill and left! It's really disappointing that in todays day and age modern restaurants do not cater for allergies which are unfortunately becoming more and more common. I hope that this feedback raises the requirement to consider guests with relatively common allergies."

"Lunch for 3 after visiting the Tate Modern. Max 5 minute walk from the Tate. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and very nice food. Had the lunch menu which was delicious and reasonable. Will go again. This is our 2nd visit to Tonkotsu- first in Battersea. Both times really good. Recommended."
