"0 stars. This was our favourite Mexican restaurant but we ordered food from here and experienced the worst food poisoning we’ve ever had to the point a paramedic had to visit the house. We tried to email to handle this privately but they took no accountability, they only denied that their food was the cause and told us it was wrong to accuse them and they have done an investigation to conclude they couldn’t have given us food poisoning. How can you know this? You don’t have the food we ate to test this if it was contaminated? This was the only food me and my partner shared and half an hour after eating it we felt a bit weird but didn’t think much of it until we woke up throughout the night with stomach cramps and the full effects of food poisoning started the next morning. They even said via email as we had eaten there before how could they have given us food poisoning? That’s not how food poisoning works… all you had to do was take accountability and apologise but you have failed to do so. We will not be visiting or recommending this restaurant again."

"The restaurant and bar has a lovely atmosphere, and the cocktails are quite good. However, they were late in seating us, and it took 20 minutes for us to order drinks even after we seated ourselves. The food was disappointing; the seabass ceviche was overcooked and very fishy with little flavor. Overall, everything took a long time to arrive, and it was difficult to get the attention of the staff. The experience felt a bit chaotic and disorganized."

"El Inca Plebeyo is probably by far our favourite restaurant in London. Chef Pacheco is always happy to give recommendations, his food is unbelievably good and beautifully presented!Service is really friendly and relaxed. This time we sat outside on the terrace, we had an amazing time and enjoyed some delicious caipirinha. Can't wait to be back! Gracias, Jorge!! Francesco Adriana"

"It lives up to its name. This was a last minute decision to visit for my 5th anniversary with my partner. We searched most romantic restaurants in London and Bob Bob Ricard continuously topped each list so we decided to give it a shot. The only critiques that we could see from reviews was just a heads up about the price. They weren 't wrong, it is pretty pricey, but the service was really great. Our waiter, Cristiano was very friendly and whenever we had finished our plate or drink, the waiters were quick to take our plate or refill our drink. We stayed in the blue room per recommendations in the reviews and I 'm happy about our decision. The red room is beautiful and you should check it out, but it 's much louder than the blue room. Overall, I 'd be happy to return, the chicken and champagne pie was a hit with the both of us, along with the truffle chips. Thanks for a great time :"

"I must say that I was rather impressed by the food in this restaurant, the food that we had was absolutely gorgeous. The starter of seafood rundang which was seafood in a curry sauce was absolutely stunning, so delicious and cooked in perfection. As for the main, my husband had a roasted leg of rabbit which was very tender and tasty while my main was a whole roasted sea bass which I found that the fish was amazingly fresh and juicy, but it was a let down due to overseasoning, it was too salty. Desserts were okay. I would say their starter was the star of meal. Service by the staff was lovely and a cosy atmosphere."

"The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and a friendly waitress. However, some of the food seemed to be pre-prepared and not heated properly. The dishes were also served out of order, causing some diners to wait longer than others. The most disappointing part was when a vegetarian in our group found meat in their dish, despite discussing the contents beforehand. The manager was aware of the situation but did not offer an apology or address the issue. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"Pleasant ambience. Charming, helpful waitress. However, some of the food, having been pre-prepared was not heated through thoroughly. Dishes also arrived really haphazardly, leaving some of us with food while others waited another 5 minutes or more. The worst aspect of the meal was when a vegetarian member of the group, despite a prior conversation about the contents of a paricular dish, found meat in his food. It was also disappointing that the manager, who clearly knew what was happening, slipped away without an apology or even an acknowledgement. Very disappointing."

"Authentic Mexican Food. Cocina Mexicana is perhaps the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Lancaster County, but seems to be the most overlooked. The small restaurant on Prince Street is simple and well kept with no frills, but the food is what has brought me back. Today I made a stop for lunch and had the Mole Verde platter, which was a special on the chalkboard. I've seen it on there before, so I'm assuming it is a fairly regular special. The dish was delicious. My only qualm was the $9.25 price tag was a little high for the entree which didn't boast that big a portion (see photograph). I also had a glass of Agua de Jamaica, one of several unique juices they offer on their menu, which was refreshing and tasty. I have also tried some of their sandwiches and tacos in the past, all being very good and seemed to be a better value for the money. For $2-3 per taco (which is around what one would spend at a mediocre fast food chain), one can sample a variety of kinds such as Lengua (beef tongue), Chorizo (spicy sausage), and Mexicana which features a choice of meat, cactus meat, and avacado. Sandwiches of similar varieties run about $5-6 each. Three types of homemade hot sauces are also provided, and make a great tasting addition to the meals. I have yet to leave Cocina Mexicana disappointed."

"I had a great dinner here. Friendly, approachable service, an eclectic menu with everything from tamales and seafood pozole to steaks. I started with the McCoy cakes with walleye from Lake Michigan, sweet peas, and carrots. They were tasty. Two to an order. I thought they might be too burnt when they came out but they tasted fine and had a good crust. The complimentary bread rolls with the tomato vinegar concoction and honey butter were great (though perhaps a tad doughy on the inside though I still enjoyed them). The Thompson tenderloin was great--very tender, cooked perfectly medium rare. The mashed potatoes that came with it were great and I appreciated the sautéed diced zucchini and peppers, and the crab cake add on was fine. My dining companions enjoyed their Stephanie Seabass and Salmon entrees. All in all, a great dinner. I'd be back and I'd recommend it!"

"Feels odd giving five stars to a tiny cafe with plastic seats out the back. But then, there's a reason the plastic seats and lack of plates don't matter, and it's the same as the reason you'll see a huge queue form out the door at lunchtime. El Burrito mostly does takeaway, and that queue moves very quickly once they get going, so don't be put off. My colleague and I discovered this place while working in the area, it became a struggle not to be going there every day. Staff are efficient and friendly, and they operate a very good system to get people served quickly. The burritos are absolutely delicious, especially if you grab a handful of nachos and a can of weird fizzy agave and plonk yourself in the back. You can then dare each other with fire-hot chilli sauces. The food actually comes down from their parent restaurant, Mestizo, just up the road. Also a truly excellent dining experience."

"Amazing!!! I am Peruvian, and this place reminds me of the restaurants I used to go to with my family when I was young! I've been a few times so far, including once with a large group of people, and we've always been easily accommodated and treated with smiles. Here are my reviews of some of the dishes: Lomo Saltado (beef stir-fry with chips): This is probably my favorite Peruvian dish ever; it's my go-to comfort food. The flavors are excellent. The dish is very generous, and I was able to happily enjoy my leftovers the next day! Anticuchos (beef heart): My boyfriend tried this dish for the first time ever, and he really enjoyed it! It might make some people a bit squeamish, but it's honestly a delicious dish that goes excellently with some boiled potatoes. Ají de gallina (spiced/creamy chicken) Another one of my comfort foods, this was delicious and was a VERY generous portion. Excellent to have half in the restaurant and use the rest the next day for sandwich filling! Yuca a la huancaína (fried cassava): Delicious. Perfectly fried yuca with some dipping sauce. I only wish there had been more! Ají sauce (green, spicy sauce): I didn't have any of this, as I am horrid with spicy sauces, BUT my Indian and Persian friends who came fell in love with this sauce so much that they requested to take some back with them after our meal! My one critique thus far is with the drinks: I haven't been able to try their chicha morada yet, so I'm not sure if it's homemade or from a mix or from a bottle, and when we ordered Inka Cola, we were given Andina Cola (really similar, but technically not the same). Small points to mention, but important to know regardless! I will say that our fruit drinks were freshly made and very good! Everyone who works here has been really lovely and friendly, and every time I've been there, Peruvians have been eating there. If that's not a glowing review to try it for authentic Peruvian food, I don't know what is! I honestly can't wait to go again and have other dishes on the menu!"
