"Feels odd giving five stars to a tiny cafe with plastic seats out the back. But then, there's a reason the plastic seats and lack of plates don't matter, and it's the same as the reason you'll see a huge queue form out the door at lunchtime. El Burrito mostly does takeaway, and that queue moves very quickly once they get going, so don't be put off. My colleague and I discovered this place while working in the area, it became a struggle not to be going there every day. Staff are efficient and friendly, and they operate a very good system to get people served quickly. The burritos are absolutely delicious, especially if you grab a handful of nachos and a can of weird fizzy agave and plonk yourself in the back. You can then dare each other with fire-hot chilli sauces. The food actually comes down from their parent restaurant, Mestizo, just up the road. Also a truly excellent dining experience."

Good place for lunch they make a good burrito. Worth going in for some lunch. The staff I there are pretty funny cause they always yell at each other in Spanish or Portuguese.

I have eaten in many various mexican restaurants in Europe and there is nothing compared to El Burrito. Here you find the real tastes and flavours from Mexico.Tamales with Mole are very good View menu

One of my favourite burritos in London. Massive, great value, great variation, and feels authentic unlike a lot of chain burrito places. Has a little stash of Mexican foods to buy out the back too.

I have eaten at several burrito restaurants and stalls in the area, but this one is definitely the best in terms of flavor and affordability. The shop is small and has a cozy café atmosphere with friendly staff.

I stopped here during the Olympics after finding my FAVE mexican place in the world- Texas Embassy closed. It was delicious. Great margs, reasonably priced and a wonderful atmosphere for the lone traveler. Thanks View menu

I've always been a fan of Mexican food and this place is the only authentic fast food burrito shop in London. Their ingredients are 100% mexican and they also serve tacos and other mexican dishes. Prices are very reasonable too.

We ordered food from this restaurant through Deliveroo. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was cold and poorly packaged, causing a mess. The taste was not great, with the nachos and tacos being particularly disappointing. The worst part of the experience was when I called the restaurant to complain. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude and refused to acknowledge my complaint. She blamed Deliveroo for the cold food, even though they were not at fault. When I mentioned the quality of the food, she dismissively claimed that they had never received a complaint before and even said, "we're not Wahaca" in a non-helpful manner. To make matters worse, she hung up on me during the call.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
