"YOU DO NOT COME TO LONDON for BBQ. Full stop. Period. The End. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND ANYTHING THAT COMES ANYWHERE REMOTELY CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL IN THE STATES Having said that, if you must have BBQ with all the fixins, Blues Kitchen in Camden is the place to be to get all messy with it. It is prolly the best you're going to find in town There are a number of places folks will recommend to you. I know, because I have eaten at them, and like it or not they put some sort of twist on it that takes it to places it should never have been BBQ is all about low and slow, not just tossing stuff on a grill whether it be propane or charcoal And I heartily recommend the Camden location...read more"

"Popped into the Rockpool café for breakfast while staying in Cullen. The cafe is bright and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive. I had the vegetarian breakfast which included vegan lorne sausage, which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the full Scottish which he also said was really nice. Big breakfast 2 x eggs, 2 x tattie scones, 1 x sausage, 1 x lorne sausage, mushrooms, fried tomato, beans and toast. They are very popular with many tables already reserved at 10am when they opened. There was a constant stream of locals who come in to get their morning coffee and takeaway breakfast always a good sign I would say?"

"Absolutely wonderful! From the service as soon as you walk in, to the staff, the food, it was just fantastic! Very helpful and efficient greeter who showed us to our table and noted the vegan note on the booking. He was able to advise what to order on the nut roast and what to swap out. All of the staff were highly attentive. The roast (I had the nut roast and my partner had the beef) was the best roast I’ve ever had! The quality of everything on the plate was incredible. Such a decent price as well for the quality you get. Thank you for such a lovely meal we cannot wait to come back when you start doing roasts again!"

"Vegan options are clearly marked and it was nice to see some inspired decisions. we were recommended to order 1 2 dishes per person and to share the vegan steak tacos, small nachos, mushroom melt and sweet potato friries. it was a nice amount of food between two people and we have actually enjoyed the dishes in the rule, although the mushroom melt a little too spicy for me I was a fairly low chili shaft. The dishes are served 'tapas style', i.e. they come out as they are ready, which was not according to my preference, but service was efficient. we had an early dinner on Sunday and it was quiet. Visited October 2021"

"We have visited here twice now and i can't speak highly enough of all involved with this venue. The food has been fantastic and they use local produce or homemade in their menu. The owner and staff are lovely and very friendly, welcoming and the place has a nice cosy feel about it. They cater for dogs and our little fellow had the dogs dinner and absolutely loved it. The kids really enjoyed their pancakes and ice cream from the little pirates menu which has a good choice of options for children. Also on our 2nd visit with our little baby boy the staff were excellent as he has a dairy intolerance and they made him scrambled eggs on toast and also made an effort to bring it out early for him as he was a little hangry "

"Absolutely terrible experience, we booked a table for our fourth wedding anniversary which was especially special this year as it was the first time since our daughter was born that we were able to celebrate by ourselves. We asked for a table with a window, on the day of the booking we received a phone call to confirm the booking and to be told they had arranged a window seat great! When we arrived at the restaurant we were initially ignored by the front of house lady who was more interested in finishing her conversation with another worker. We were then shown to our table, instead of a window seat we were sat in the center of the restaurant right next to a noisy hen do. I explained that we requested a window seat and the lady shrugged her shoulders and said so did everyone else . She was about to walk away when i explained that we had had the window seat confirmed over the phone earlier, looking at me as if I had made it up, she checked her paper work and just shook her head saying this table was correct and continued to just shrug her shoulders. There were empty tables by the window at the time. When we said we would leave and try somewhere else she made no attempts to keep us as a customer. In the end we walked up to Boscombe and went to Urban Reef, which was a really lovely laid back, funky restaurant with great food and great service. I 'd suggest the 30 minute walk along the beach to anyone thinking of going to Aruba."

"Great little diner, my food was great, my husband said his burger could have done with more seasoning but other than that great, prices are okay only thing is it seems a little rundown and the floor looked quite dirty (not sure if this was just the aesthetic or just not clean), i was also a little dissapointed as when i checked online before i came (i always check menues as i have food intolerances) and had previously chose what i would have and when i arrived they informed me that this menj was only available at certain times so what i origionally wanted wasnt available, I would reccomend the breakfast I ordered though which came with the tater tots,"

"First time there but like mexican food so had good idea what to expect. Wasn't disappointed. Four of us there and had two dishes each(one person didn't like one of her choices..spicy watermelon..but none of us did) otherwise the food was excellent. Staff were excellent...friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"This charming little spot has great potential as a venue for live performances. It just needs some tender loving care, which I’m sure the owners are planning to implement. The restaurant area would greatly benefit from dimming the bright lights and incorporating more fairy lights to create a cozier atmosphere; this would also help to disguise the wear and tear that can be more noticeable under harsh lighting. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and I genuinely hope they find success. Whitley Bay could use more diverse dining options for everyone to enjoy. It’s becoming a fantastic place to spend an evening out, steering clear of the rowdy vibe that South Parade used to have."

"What: Dinner, Fargo's Where: Sparkbrook, London Value: £15 pp Food Review: To drink: mango juice To eat: nachos, lamb steak with fargo fries, chicken burger. A range of american diner style meals including steak and burgers, with a few curries. The drink menu is extensive and does include the mocktails and milkshakes, however the fruit juices are not fresh. The starters which include nachos, are plentiful and comforting. The burger and steak are well cooked and tasty to eat. The Fargo fries are not worth the extra £1 unless you get the extra topping which include mince and cheese. "visited sandbar and cwlbox 3 times in our week in tenby, always for beer, twice for lunch and once for dinner. shout to the brilliant workers who despite covering a lot of tables in busy times were still super friendly and time for beer recommended and local tips when they got chances. Eating from cwlbox was on the spot every time. fresh ingredients and authentic. the tacos and the baked feta they had as specials loved. this was our fav space for beer in tenby and the only place for crafts. all tenby brewery beers were great and they always had good rotating guests. great bar!"

"A must visit when you are in Bournemouth and close to the beach. A perfect way to end a long walk or have a nice afternoon drink on the outdoor deck overlooking the coast and the beautiful beach. My pina colada was amazing, so strong! The interior decor is very cool and a great buzz. The wings weren't the best, you expect just chicken but instead it was like breaded chicken nuggets and you could just taste too much BBQ sauce. Just a shame. The staff were extremely friendly though. I'd 100% come back next time I'm in Bournemouth."

"It was a warm Spring day when we stopped by for lunch. There is a small patio by the entrance that was full and a good size interior that included booth seating, tables and chairs and bar seating. So plenty of options. A small parking area is out front the . The entrance is on the side of the building. One gentleman was taking care of all the guests and doing a good job. This is pub food and craft beers. Plenty of the people on the patio were there for a beer or two on a nice 'out door ' day. Our party ordered iced tea which was good and beer along with hand held foods. The menu offers a variety of updated takes on old school bar standbys. Classic burger or perhaps a Hawaiian. French dip sandwich or maybe a turkey havarti melt. Salad with chicken. Mac cheese, steak, salmon. Basic bar fare. The bread on our sandwiches was soft. The food quality good. Plenty of meat on the bread. A variety of side options to accompany your sandwich. The décor is minimal and the restaurant clean, including the restrooms which are to the right of the bar. They offer happy hour specials Monday through Friday. I would stop by again if in the area and looking for an 'American cuisine ' meal."

"fantastic eating, fantastic service, great views and options for vegetarian vegan also. can do quite a lot, so best to book their table in advance, but would definitely return here as the seasoned flower flowers tacos are one of the best vegan dishes I have tried. compliments to the cook on this dish. the dirty frits are also very nice, my only grip with these was there was too much gravy (sauce added. but also so I would order this again: the staff was very friendly, polite and made a visit very pleasant."

"this place would be great for a hangover or to fill up on a budget. you are not waiting for hand and foot, but the staff is really friendly, and to be honest sometimes I would rather just be a relaxed meal without interruptions or fussing. it is not top notch food is comfort food, not elegantly presented, but well cooked and lets them feel satisfied. do not expect to go to dinner on Friday or Saturday night, while we were there, they were obviously ready for Saturday night before and I had to strike the rest of my bulmers so that they could also move our table (not that they forced us to go, it just felt restless that we had to...more"

"Feels odd giving five stars to a tiny cafe with plastic seats out the back. But then, there's a reason the plastic seats and lack of plates don't matter, and it's the same as the reason you'll see a huge queue form out the door at lunchtime. El Burrito mostly does takeaway, and that queue moves very quickly once they get going, so don't be put off. My colleague and I discovered this place while working in the area, it became a struggle not to be going there every day. Staff are efficient and friendly, and they operate a very good system to get people served quickly. The burritos are absolutely delicious, especially if you grab a handful of nachos and a can of weird fizzy agave and plonk yourself in the back. You can then dare each other with fire-hot chilli sauces. The food actually comes down from their parent restaurant, Mestizo, just up the road. Also a truly excellent dining experience."

"After taking a carriage tour, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We ordered grilled snapper and a crab cake burger. The snapper was fresh and delicious, while the burger was decent but not my top choice. The crab cake had too much mayonnaise for my liking. The crab soup was flavorful, with visible crab meat, but I found it to be a bit too salty."

"Really cool bar with good Mexican food. Didn’t like the tacos (sloppy, too greasy, and meat was dry) but the nachos, wings and chorizo mac and cheese was amazing! Wings fell off the bone and had a perfect level of spice. The music and overall vibe of the place is great. Seats are very close together and it was really difficult to get in and out. Every time the server came over to us and when we used the bathroom the couple next to us had to stand up to let us out which was a bit awks! Service is very very fast! We were in and out in 50 mins."
