"Great little diner, my food was great, my husband said his burger could have done with more seasoning but other than that great, prices are okay only thing is it seems a little rundown and the floor looked quite dirty (not sure if this was just the aesthetic or just not clean), i was also a little dissapointed as when i checked online before i came (i always check menues as i have food intolerances) and had previously chose what i would have and when i arrived they informed me that this menj was only available at certain times so what i origionally wanted wasnt available, I would reccomend the breakfast I ordered though which came with the tater tots,"

"rude and racist bouncers worst experience in the city ever. I visited the blues kitchen shoreditch on the 5th march 2022. I came with 9 other friends at 23 o'clock this evening with prepaid tickets. the bouncer at the door required ids, although most people in the waitsnake did not show their ids and bouncer did not get on the board. I was compliant, and I showed my ID to her colleagues. he said I should be more polite next time. I was confused and asked him when I had been rude to him, then he said, "You don't come in today." their bouncer even used his left arm to block me when I tried to talk to my friends who were already admitted. "Stopped here for a coffee with my husband and cousin, whom we were visiting. The cheese scones were apparently very nice and I was impressed there were gluten free cake options and one gluten and dairy free option, a Bakewell cake, which was delicious. I also purchased an unusual picture, which was made from cut pebbles and cut glass....not something one sees in Kent very often. I'll definitely return in the summer when we're up."

"I booked a table for one for Sunday lunch but was shown to a table in the centre of a very stark cafe and handed two menus. I asked for a seat on the edge and was moved. The starter of whitebait was lovely, although a slice of lemon would have been nice. The roast pork arrived very quickly afterwards and had obviously been pre plated and kept almost warm on a lamp. The flavours were good but it was almost cold. The house white wine was very watery. Service was slow and when I asked for the wifi code I was told that it was only for their tills and ipads. Not recommended for a sole diner."

"Vegan options are clearly marked and it was nice to see some inspired decisions. we were recommended to order 1 2 dishes per person and to share the vegan steak tacos, small nachos, mushroom melt and sweet potato friries. it was a nice amount of food between two people and we have actually enjoyed the dishes in the rule, although the mushroom melt a little too spicy for me I was a fairly low chili shaft. The dishes are served 'tapas style', i.e. they come out as they are ready, which was not according to my preference, but service was efficient. we had an early dinner on Sunday and it was quiet. Visited October 2021"

"Ive visited praised this cafe so many times and was always my go to place for breakfast. I work overseas so cant visit as much as Id like to but today was a real disappointment. It was really busy which it always is however...since the outside seating area has been built, I just dont think staff can handle the amount of servings on a nice day aswell as takeaways. We got a seat inside next to the counter after the previous party had left, I asked 3 times if they could clean my table, then on the final time of asking, I asked for the cloth and cleaned it myself. I opted for the full breakfast 9.80) and when It came I honestly thought it was a kids portion. 1 sausage, 1 rasher of bacon, 1 poached egg, about 20 beans, 1 slice of black pudding mushrooms (See photo) and the toast was clay cold. The personnel are a great bunch of staff, I just think the owners have potentially lost concentration of the importance of customer service over money seats profit. I did speak face to face with the cashier when she asked me if everything was OK, and she said shed pass on my comments to the kitchen. Please go back to how you were! breakfast was still tasty by the way, just a minuscule portion"

"I was expecting so much more from this place due to it being recommended. Customer service was good, staff were attentive and friendly, but the food was sub standard and pricey. The quality was lacking in terms of freshness of the fish, and the chips tasted like a standard portion of supermarket oven cooked chips. For £18 I wanted more. Also I couldn't taste a hint of alcohol in the SOTB sharing cocktail, again, disappointing!"

"I dined there with my wife and baby, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was amazing! The vegetarian option, chickpea tacos, was out of this world. For dinner, we spent around £20-30 per person. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a perfect 5, and the atmosphere a perfect 5 as well. I highly recommend the churros and the chicken tinga."

"This charming little spot has great potential as a venue for live performances. It just needs some tender loving care, which I’m sure the owners are planning to implement. The restaurant area would greatly benefit from dimming the bright lights and incorporating more fairy lights to create a cozier atmosphere; this would also help to disguise the wear and tear that can be more noticeable under harsh lighting. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and I genuinely hope they find success. Whitley Bay could use more diverse dining options for everyone to enjoy. It’s becoming a fantastic place to spend an evening out, steering clear of the rowdy vibe that South Parade used to have."

"Very small, friendly waitress. Menu consists of tacos, burritos and quesadillas, all elaborately prepared. The title 'Cantina ' describes the ambiance adequately. We 're not Mexican food fanatics, and we were surprised at the lack of fajitas and chilli, but the food was well presented and tasty. Distancing between the tables was good, despite the compactness of the restaurant. Nothing wrong with the food or the restaurant, but just a bit too authentic for us!"

"I visited fargos a few months ago and their New York strip steak was one of the best steaks I have tried however upon my return I was left very disappointed. I hyped the steak up to my wife and unfortunately they let me down. We ordered fire wings to start which were over fried the coating was hard and cracked when you bit into it. I’m terms of flavour they were not as hot as the description would lead you to believe. Now on to the streak easily 30% of the steak was gristle and quality of the meat had declined compared to my previous visit my wife’s steak was similar both were requested as medium rare and were cooked accordingly. Service it self was good at the end they asked how the food was in which I provided my honest assessment I received a generic “sorry” at the very least I would of liked the staff to say they would look into the issue and ensure they identify the problem whether it was a poor cut of meat or just poor quality control in the kitchen So to summarise I wouldn’t come again to a place that doesn’t take criticism seriously."

"My experience at The Sandbar in Tenby was fantastic. When our party of ten entered the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The menu was tantalizing and full of options, so my friend and I decided to share some fish tacos and the burger of the week. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The flavors and aromas were amazing - it felt like a true culinary experience. The burger of the week was especially outstanding, with avocado mayo that tasted like a miracle. Overall, The Sandbar exceeded my expectations and made my dining dreams come true. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful meal!"

"I've been coming regularly to this amazing restaurant and well let me tell you it's the best I've ever been too, the owner who reminds me of my brother in his personality is warm and friendly and gives off family like inviting vibes, always fits me and my Mrs in even on a busy Saturday evening which seems to be 7 o'clock, the food is the best I've ever eaten with very reasonable prices and with excellent portions. The owner even made a special sizzling main into a starter for us which completely blew us away, all the staff are amazing and welcoming and nothing is too much, thank you guy's my go to place for good."

"The Ram Restaurant and Brewhouse is a reliable option, though it may not be a must-visit spot. Situated at Kent Station near the cinema, the Ram is a spacious, rather unremarkable establishment serving standard American fare, from burgers to pizza. While they may not excel in any specific dish, everything is quite tasty. I appreciate their monthly rotating specials, and the prices are unbeatable—seriously, the portions are enormous for lower prices compared to most sit-down restaurants. The food is served quickly. However, I find their cocktails to be rather forgettable and wouldn't recommend them. None of the cocktails, from their margaritas to cosmopolitans, have been impressive; they often taste like they're made from convenience store premixes and are served in oversized glasses. Service tends to be hit or miss—I've encountered servers who wouldn't make eye contact, some who seemed annoyed by my presence, and others who were friendly and welcoming. It's simply inconsistent. If you're looking for solid, inexpensive food, the Ram is a good choice. Just keep your expectations in check, and you won't be let down."

"Recently booked the Margarita Room of Neon Cactus as part of a 30th birthday celebration. From initial enquiry, through to the night itself, myself and guests received a warm and friendly reception from all staff, who took great care of us. Bar visits and questions in the lead up to the event were also answered and accommodated with ease, making the whole process very stress free. Having been treated appallingly by another bar in Leeds, the team at Neon were a breath of fresh air to liaise with, and a complete contrast in bar/event management. A huge thank you to Lucy, Laura and team for their help in creating a night to remember, for all the right reasons!"

"Armed with a certificate from Zomato, I drove to this restaurant for lunch with two colleagues. This place had a lot to live up to in comparison to the Burrito trend that seems to be sweeping London during lunchtime, but unfortunately it did not quite meet expectations. The variety of meat fillings was impressive, but the bark tinga did not seem to be of the highest quality despite its promised stamp of approval. The guacamole was complimentary compared to other places, but one of my colleagues found there to be too much rice in her veggie burrito. In general, the lack of customers when we entered was perhaps a reflection of how this place compared to others. My search for the perfect London burrito continues. I may just have to write another blog post about it."
