"I 'm not normally one for complaining but on this occasion I feel like I have to. I placed an order at the weekend through Just Eat (my 1st time using this method) and was informed that the estimated delivery time was 8pm, okay a 90 min wait which I could just about live with. As it turned out we waited 2 hours which I find totally unacceptable, the restaurant is a mile and a half away from where I live. When the meal arrived it was missing the onion Bhajis that we ordered. Rang the restaurant and was told we could knock it off our next meal, err I don 't think so. I stated we wanted them with our meal but apparently they were very busy and would deliver them as soon as possible, I 'm still waiting 2 days later. Thinking things couldn 't get any worse we plated our meals, well things did. The garlic supreme I ordered was supposed to have extensive use of garlic .....hmm, I think the chef, and I use the word chef loosely, forgot to add the garlic and the meal was not a good experience. My wife had a rogan josh, well a child 's sized portion anyway as the carton was only two thirds full at best. We also ordered a garlic nan and a peshwari nan, both which were so bland we thought they were just plain nan 's. A nightmare experience which spoilt our night, we won 't ever use the Nobin again, there are far superior restaurants in the area with better customer service. If I could have given no stars I would have done so."

"I had the most amazing chicken masala here recently. I didn't even know this place existed. I had a business meeting in the restaurant and I am very impressed with the food. definitiw one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. they were looking forward to going back there, they also had a nice pinot grigio I forgot to get the name. the person with whom I had pasta and was also very impressed by their meal. as they can see from the photos, it was also beautifully presented."

"We happened upon this little shop whilst perusing Harrogate and brought a selection of Cheeses to take to family that evening. The two ladies working were fantastic in helping us choose a lovely Brie with Truffle, Smoked Cheddar and a strong Blue. With a little taster of each we were soon agreed and the three cheeses were nicely wrapped up in paper.Our hosts loved them that evening and being local themselves have plans to pop in and see the array on offer for themselves."

"We are loyal customers of Tiffin, ordering family meals from them every month. However, during one recent visit, we were disappointed when our salad was forgotten with the starters and there were no onions with the popadoms. Additionally, the mixed grill I ordered was served cold and I had to heat it up in the microwave. When I called to complain, the person who answered said the manager was not available and would call me back, but never did. After reaching out again a few days later, the manager did not apologize but offered free popadoms as per their policy. When I mentioned the poor service, the manager abruptly ended the call after I used a certain word. We have decided not to return as a result of this lack of customer service, even though the food is tasty."

"Went with my partner for BSB bikes wanted a nice meal we eat a lot of curry and this place is a no no starters seek kebabs hard chana purée no taste mains chicken curry hard chicken tarka dhal was blended in to a paste no flavour we asked for pilau rice with onions jeera and peas we got fried rice we asked for food to be spicy so they added loads of chilly so it was hot as your best bet is go to tescos or Wetherspoons for a curry meal was £75 and because we complained about the staters they knocked them of OMG it would have been £100 if your in the area please don’t be upset and just wait till you get home and go to your local where you know the food is good at a reasonable price"

"During our visit to Cheltenham, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant by chance. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive to all our needs. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained. My husband ordered an Afghan chicken dish from the special menu placed on our table and he loved it. I opted for the Bombay Aloo and was not disappointed. The meal came with fluffy pilau rice and a delicious garlic naan bread. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant. Well done!"

"Describing this place as a balti restaurant is misleading, as it actually resembles more of a kebab shop infested with rats. We ordered 3 curries, mixed grills, onion bhajis, and naan breads. Unfortunately, all three curries contained raw chicken, which was in large chunks similar to what you would find on a pizza. The rogan Josh had green peppers and tomato slices that you might expect on a pizza, not in a curry. The mixed grills included hamburger patties and undercooked fried mushrooms. The naan breads were overly greasy and seemed to have been cooked on a flat top stove. The garlic naans had no garlic flavor, just a dated garlic mayo dip. The cheese naan lacked cheese entirely. The food was so oily that it seemed like it was fit for a royalty from Arabian descent. We spent £80 ordering through Just Eat, but received no complimentary poppadoms. We were also asked to pay extra for delivery, and then the delivery driver claimed he couldn't find us and we had to meet him, despite being the only property in our postcode. Overall, this dining experience was extremely disappointing and could likely deter even the most dedicated food enthusiasts."

"Have eaten here befiore and it has been much better. Food was OK but one of the dishes was very bland. We had booked in advance at 8pm. It was a busy Saturday night and the service was somewhat strange all night starting with the waiter bringing a single starter. We asked if the others were coming and he rather abruptly said yes. The others then followed a bit strange but ok. The worst was when at 9:10 we were asked if we would leave the table. We still had half of our drinks left and had only just finished eating, 70 minutes after the booking time hardly an age? I feel they were being gready and putting profit before serving the customers already in the restaurant. Maybe the new restaurant was a step too far and they are struggling for staff but I really felt there had to be a manager there with the correct attitude. They all seemed a bit undertrained and all over the place to be honest which is not great as it is not cheap. Won't be going back for a while at least."

"I decided to take my sons out for a meal on a Sunday and it was our first time at Everest Inn. The service was excellent from the beginning and the food, from the starters to the main courses, was delicious. "Received a delivery last night, the first time I’ve used this restaurant. I’m afraid to say it’s not for me. We had a lamb tikka masala, chilli chicken masala, both violent red colour, with pilau rice, mushroom fried rice and a portion of chips. The food wasn’t bad and the portions were fine and my wife said hers was “ok”. Mine was “ok” too, however I would expect a chilli chicken to have a certain strength, which is why I ask for chillies! Extremely mild with it seemed a background taste of coconut, an ingredient I wouldn’t put int a masala sauce. I did find 3 small chillies in the meal. Pilau rice appeared to be boiled rice with some colouring, no cassia, cloves or cardamom flavours at all. Oh, the chips were tough and seemed old. Ordered via the website, countdown timer showing delivery time. Pointless, doesn’t track the order. Lastly, there was a service charge of 50p as well as delivery charge. I paid cash! If they’re charging for credit/debit card charges, this is illegal."

"Googled closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as were were picking relatives up. The Cinnamon Tree came out nearest. Booked a table online. Was very pleased with the food which was lovely. Good sized portions. Thought it was quite expensive though compared to our local Indian restaurant which is in a nicer setting and has nicer decor. The Cinnamon Tree would benefit from an update particularly the upstairs toiled facilities. Nice friendly Staff however and would go again if the occasion arose."

"As someone who has been a cook for many years and a lover of Indian cuisine, I recently visited this restaurant for the first time on my birthday. I must say that I was extremely impressed and even a bit frustrated that I only have one stomach, as the food was truly magical and delicious. The dishes prepared by the chefs were a delight to the taste buds and I was completely enamored with the flavors. Additionally, the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and pleasant. "Ordered online delivery on New Years Eve at 4:30pm with 45min delivery time .At 6pm phoned and told food def on way . It did arrive ... dripping wet soggy esp. Naan poppadoms . Absolutely foul . Rice was missing from order too we phoned for explanation of what one meal actually consisted of as it was like scrapings out of a deep fat fryer and dripping in grease ? Yes- it was that bad. Got offered discount from next order but I was unhappy with this option but they wouldn’t deliver missing items or 1 replacement meal we stay approx 15mins from restaurant! . I suggested I’d collect which was accepted . Rice was ok- replacement poppadoms chips just as bad 2nd time . Not sure what went wrong , but it was seriously awful took shine off end of year celebrations . Will NOT use again ."
