We have been customers of Neelam's for many years but won't be back. Our last order was significantly smaller than usual, cold, 45 minutes late and Raw. We ordered chicken pakoras as a side and they were inedible uncooked and extremely spicy batter and we like spicy food! Very unhappy with our experience. Unfortunately this seems to be an ongoing problem so we'll take our money elsewhere.

Chapli not a chapli some flipping omlettes os some shirt. They used to have great chapli. Time 's gone. Who really knows what that spicing is hiding. Realising that already stacked with five of so dissapointed. Haven 't tried the spinach I got with the sneaky chaplis cannot rish a russian with serious skin disease going off back to prepare. Not a good place any longer. Yuck and muck, I tell ya.

Awful service food. The person serving clearly didn 't want me in the shop as it was 10:30 on a Sunday evening. Poor service, undercooked food when I rang to complain I was hung up on 3 times told my calls had been dropped because my number was private even though the lengths of the calls differed. This USED to be 1 of the best kebab places in Birmingham but its rapidly declined in the last 15 years. Such a shame! View menu

My partner and I popped in on a whim as we was passing. We ordered two spicy lamb curries with naan breads and two cans of pop. The table we sat at was filthy and we chose the cleanest one available. After asking a staff member to clean it we sat down and awaited our food. The curries had virtually no meat and was all bone, gristle and fat. The sauce was quite good but our side salad was limp and sweaty. When my partner asked to use the toilets she came back and told me that they was too disgusting to use and decided to wait until we left and find somewhere else more hygienic. The guy who served me was so rude ! I’ve not been here for a while and through general chat I asked him how was Neelam . He said I don’t know him! Was aggressive at the same time . I know Neelam started this business and his dad had Ali Mongals across the road . Anyway I ordered a chicken teaka kebab . When the guy served me , the chicken teaka was in a plate on its own with salad minus tomatoes and sauces ! And the fries were in a separate plate !!! I've used Neelams and was very much disappointed. We ordered few meal deals and order was served very badly. I think staff even don't know the meaning of customer service. Every meal was not served as per their poster in the shop. No sauce, no salad and even if deal says chips also part of the meal, no chips were served. I have to remind the staff for everything pointing him toward his poster in shop that there was drink, there were chips part to the deal but you have not given. Kebab and curry size was like a kids meal. Curry ordered twice both had a different taste. Restaurant was not clean at all. If they can't keep restaurant clean, their food can't be clean and fresh.
