"I ordered a big meal for my family and myself, as we had never tried this restaurant before. When the food arrived, it was not very hot and we had to warm up some dishes. I ordered a king prawn bhuna and found it to be extremely bland - it tasted like prawns in plain water. My husband ordered a king prawn curry and had a similar experience. The onion bhajis had a weird texture and taste, and overall we were quite disappointed. While the food was edible, the lack of flavor means we won't be ordering from this restaurant again."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Good food, authentic taste, fantastic place to eat out with family and friends. I had a great experience however what did bother me though was the manager at woodlands on Sunday 17th. He was so rude to the girl serving us and to this lady who was walking aided by her assistant and a stick. She was trying to go to the restroom and cause woodlands Marylebone doesn't have a wheelchair access toilet she had to climb a few stairs! With much difficulty due to her condition she was trying to do this and her assistant and grandchild were helping. The staff is friendly, but they can be hard to flag down after you receive your food for more drinks or the bill. "first order the last night. service was exceptional to arrange food to be ready earlier than normal and so a beautiful person with whom we talked. I think this is a mother-daughter team and that we had for my mother when I felt it was something special. I'm vegan and my mom isn't, but we both loved it! and I can be a hard critic with Indians eating, but the aromen, where fantastic. "After reading the reviews, we were hoping to discover an excellent Indian restaurant. Unfortunately, this one did not meet our expectations. The starters were okay, but the main courses were lacking. The Tandoori mix was especially disappointing, and the special biryani wasn't much better. We are only giving it a 3-star rating because of the friendly staff. Dining in for dinner cost around £90-100 per person. The food quality was a 2, service was a 4, and the atmosphere was a 4."

"We booked by telephone after leaving a voicemail message... they call back and confirmed they could fit us in for a table of 9.. the waiter suggested we all have a mix tandor. Starter... assume this wpuld make it easy for the kitchen even thou the place was less than 1/2 full.... The starters where very nice... no probs.... Then the main course... everyone thought the food was very bland no spice or flavor to the meals... being the brave fool I wanted to send my meal back as I had selected a spicy kabab from the Cheifs special menu... so I expected some spicy and a bit of taste... both of which where lacking... I tried to get a watiers attention for 5 mins... and no one aas maming sure the table was happy... the only way I got attention was to phone from the table to ask for a waiter.... !!!!... never had to do that before... sent my meal back reordered a Balti of which they just made HOT probs to teach a customer who had dared to complain.. Never going back which is a shame as I entertain at least 5 or 6 customers every month.... too much goid food on offer in the area to go through that again....."

"27.12.21-I’ve ordered a tandoori chicken biriyani and a lamb biriyani last night. Tandoori biriyani was good but the lamb biriyani was utterly disappointing. This was our first order ever and we only ordered from Mystica was Spice Lounge was closed on 27 Dec. Lamb biriyani was like some boiled yellow rice with some mixed lamb!!! When I called and spoke to the chef he jotted my name down like he’s going to remember me next time when I order lol what a joke. Never ordering from here again!!!! 08.03.22- My above comment was from 27 Dec. I decided to give Mystica a second chance and they have delivered a gold standard service this time! I ordered two chicken tikka biriyani. On top of that they made a test lamb biriyani because of my previous experience. "We started dining at this restaurant after the first lockdown and I can no longer highly recommend it for its food and service. The staff is always friendly and happy to accommodate us, whether we choose to dine in, take away, or have it delivered. The prices are fair for the large portions of high-quality food they serve. Deliveries are always on time, or even earlier than expected. Occasionally, they have even given us a complimentary bottle of wine or beer, which is a nice gesture. Overall, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Cheltenham!"

"Great service!! I don't know that girl's name but she really made sure we had everything and that we enjoyed our dinner. About food, we ordered king prawns starter, it was tasty with little chutney on the side but just 3 small prawns. Really really really small portion size for that price. Naan here is simply yummy. We ordered Vindaloo with it. Like a typical Goan Vindaloo, this one was hot, very spicy but flavourful. It had well made chicken."

"Proper traditional and authentic Indian cuisine. I have been fond of indian spices for as long as I remember and have been eating all around the nation, wherever possible. I must admit that this restaurant served the closest touch of real and authentic Indian taste so far. I loved the ambience of the venue, well decorated, neatly arranged and friendly staffs. I don't seem to understand why some people have had bad experiences and reviews towards the establishment. Anyway, a Defo place to visit whilst around. "(Delivery) Considering the high rating on Tripadvisor and the reviews of the place we were ready to give Kali Mirchi a go. After quotes of Best Indian and So much flavour being thrown around, we were anticipating a much needed curry. After placing the order and being told it would be 40 minutes, we waited an hour before we called to be told it had just left and would be with us any minute. It came to £19.20 so I gave the driver £20 and was told he had no change! Biting my lip to the sofa we dug in to our starters. The Onion Bhajis were more gram flour than onion and for such a cheap dish to make was surprising. I could taste the old oil which isn 't always a bad thing if it wasn 't for there being too much flour to soak it up. Oily onion bhajis seen to, mains were a go. I love my naan bread and wasn 't all that impressed with the one I had infront of me, the bright red keema filling had all dropped to one side and it was very thin. The pilau rice was nice though, I think they had added a touch of saffron. The Chicken Tikka Masala was average at best and tasted alot like cheese. Not how I would expect, it was also luke warm but did have good chunks of chicken. The lamb jalfrezi was overly spiced and had more than enough green chillies but abit too much oil. Unfortunalty we didnt feel Kali Mirchi had lived up to its reputation and I am a firm believer that food should be a similar standard when delivered, if this is the standard in restaurant then I would be very disappointed to have made the journey. Summary Nothing special, average experience for a takeaway, good portions of meat, but bad balance of spice and flavour. Check your change and order well in advance!"
