"slow service. when we finally served and placed our order....the waitress came back with a drink and then on to tell us there were 0/5 of the red wee available on the menu. then when we ordered food: we ordered the days special (seafood paella) she came back to tell us that it was not available now. that should have been said when we were sitting. we left without eating and an expensive £5 soaking bill for 2 softdrinks that we didn't even want, as we couldn't eat what we wanted. poesie"

"Food was good in general. However, portions were on the small side. The tabla mixta was disappointing for size with minuscule pieces of cheese included when comparing to price and other Spanish restaurants in London we’ve been to. Would possibly go back as food was tasty, but only if invited by someone else. Would not book myself."

"these are dotted around london and I was always thrilled by the facility. it looks like a deli with all the hanging jamon, then there is the tapas bar and also a casual sitting restaurant vibe. behind the bar, you will see the display of various Spanish meats and be ready to be cut, plated and served. With a friend in the city and a group of us want to entertain him, nothing completely fits like a tapas sharing experience. equipped with my taste card we drove to holborn for our reserved table. the Holborn site is large, open and airy. high ceiling, large windows above the front and beautifully spaced tables/sele. we sat in a corner that was good, as I knew, that we would probably get a little rainy. if you haven't seen a friend for a long time, of course, the wee, the remembrances are reappearing and the sweat burst. Having ordered a white and red wine from a Spanish wine list that ranged from aragon to toro, we studied the tapas menu for our choices. we went for every food group, with classy like pimento pardon and kartoffel bravas, to some lush gambas pil pil (king prawns in olive oil with garlic and chili). grilled chestnut mushrooms with Spanish blue cheese and garbanzo con chorizo (chorizo, kichererbsen, Piquillo pepper with pimento). a selection of Spanish cheeses and estofado de cerdo (a basque stew of slowly boiled pork, with carrots and carrots). it was a good cross-section of the food that was very tasty. it was enough for us four. I would be interested in a future visit, as there is nothing like Spanish meat. / mas q menos is a really relaxing place, ideal for getting friends. the service was nice, our waiter spoke about Spanish, recommended some dishes and led us through the wine list. we will definitely visit again and with off-food with tastecard, it makes the experience even sweeter."

"we're lucky that malvarosa is local to us. we do not feel the need to go to the city center for occasions, as we always get great eating in a beautiful atmosphere when we go here. we went on Friday night as a family group of 4 people. everything was delicious. the sangria is particularly recommended. tapas was great and homemade brot fantastic. we're coming back!"

"The food at this restaurant is delicious, including the breads, dips, tapas, and wine. However, we were disappointed with the service. We had to ask for everything, from taking our wine order to ordering bread. It took an hour to finally place our food order, and then we had to track someone down to get the bill. While the restaurant was busy, we have been there before without experiencing this level of inconvenience. As a party of 4, we likely would have ordered more wine and tapas if the service had been smoother. It is a shame, as the food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely."

"I would not recommend this restaurant at all. The food was terrible, to the point where we could not even finish half of it. It seemed like they were serving low-quality, microwaved dishes. The music was too loud and despite us being the only guests left inside, they turned it up even more, making it impossible to have a conversation without yelling. To top it off, they left the door open, forcing us to sit there in our coats. Overall, not worth a visit."
"On our first night in relents, we decided to tast on dating in soho, to have happiness and without reservation, we slide past the many horeca business this neighborhood is rich. In this case, we're in a good mood, and that didn't leave us. The food was delicious and came fast, the service was fine. Especially if you want to come over here and eat, we were lucky to have the last available table." No problem with this soft setup, but after we saw several groups going through the door with regret that the case is sufficient. A real rapist!"

"The bartender was very busy but still very kind and accommodating. He made an effort to be pleasant despite being overwhelmed. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant were nice, but unfortunately, everything else about the place was lacking."

"Lovely decor. Don't miss the WCs. Food was very good for the most part. Highlights of our order were big juicy clams in white wine sauce, stuffed peppers with a deliciously light sauce which was a coulis of pureed tomato and red pepper flesh as well as the torta canarejal. This last item was a pot of melted soft ewes cheese for dipping rounds of toast, roasted new potatoes and massive capers. Heavenly. Who knew that fondue could be Spanish? Gambas ajillo were tasty but a touch overcooked for my taste. We also had the broccoli and almonds smothered in garlicky oil, padron pepper roulette, and bacalhao tempura drizzled in honey which were all pleasant. Midmeal we ordered a basket of plain sour dough which I would recommend for soaking up all the sauces. On the pricey side. With two glasses of wine and tap water, a big lunch for two including service came to £92."

"this is my new favorite restaurant in london. it was recommended to me by family friends who had come to Laxiero over 20 years ago. the fact that you are still standing after so many years, testifies to the popularity and quality of eating here I came on a Sunday, which I would not recommend as every Sunday host of the columbia road flower market, which means that the place is wounded and they will have to wait for a table without doubt. that besides eating in laxeiro is worth it. they offer a series of authentic tapas as well as individual pallela’s that they order. I ordered a series of my favorites like croquetas, tortilla de patata, jamon and albondigas....read more"

"We visited a tranquil tapas bar with a welcoming owner. Since we had our dog with us, we requested take-out and were allowed to wait in the outdoor terrace area."

"Good food and nice atmosphere. There was a slight issue in that I contacted them to add an extra person to the booking earlier in the week which they confirmed was fine. When we got there the booking was still for 4 people- this was quickly resolved and we were accommodated as a group of 5. The restaurant was quite hard to find as the Google pin wasn't totally accurate and the restaurant sign is hidden by a canopy."

"I ordered tortilla Espanola, berenjenas fritas, ensalada de esparragos, earl grey tea. In menu lots of spirits drinks and i did not find simple cup tea, but when ask, i got it. Ensalada de esparragos it is a mix of lettuce salad, fresh tomatoes, cocktail peppers, with toasted pine nuts and olive oil, decorative with 3 twig of asparagus. Interesting experience. Tasty. Thank you. Berengenas fritas it is a big pieces of aubergine fried in flour and topped agave syrup with sea salt. It is too fat, sweet and salted. Not tasty. Tortilla Espanola it's a 2 pieces of Spanish tortilla. It is look and taste like not fresh tortilla, quickly defrosted and heated on the frying pan, decorated fresh parsley. Not tasty. It is sad, this place have title La Tortilla, and serv awful tortilla. Earl grey tea were ok."

"Lovely little tapas restaurant situated in an enclave of bars and restaurants in walthastow. The normal suspects tapas dishes are suplemented with daily specials which was a nice touch.. We particularly found the fish dishes good.. The portion sizes are also a little more generous than normal tapas.. V friendly and helpful staff made our visit well worth the trek.. Will def add this place to my favourites.. Word of warning.. Book ahead.. 16 Jul, 2009 Nice place in an enclave of bars and restaurants in wathamstow.. Smallish tapas menu with extra daily specials which we found pretty good.. Not the normal regular dishes.. Fisf tapas"

"Fabulous meal! Hubby went here with colleagues and told me I'll enjoy it. So week after, I booked a table for us and everything we ordered was really good. My fave was the meaty set Tabla de Carne consist of steak, Chorizo sausage (absolutely divine! , chicken fillet and ribs with a manchego cheese and chili dip. The ribs was just so lip smacking good! A must visit place when you're in Glasgow. We're already looking forward to becoming regulars."

"Lovely family dinner with our 15 year old son. There is something on this “tapas with a twist” menu for everyone. Cosy atmosphere. We had 7 plates between the 3 of us which was perfect. The Lebanese wines by the glass are pretty good, but there is a fine selection of wines by the bottle as well. Well worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere to eat for dinner while visiting Hampton Court."

"as Spanish I am always very cautious about Spanish restaurant, if the waitress can not understand if I ask after eating with Spanish accents, then is not a good Spanish restaurant, but this place is amazing, food taste like my mother (no say I say that) and the price is stunning, the cook is spanish and the owner use to live there they know what they are. if they are looking for a real Spanish experience in glasgow, this is the place! go and try."
