We arrived at the restaurant only to find it in darkness and closed, no notification from them to say it was closed, ruined our anniversary evening as trying to find a table in Leeds on a Saturday evening without a reservation is near impossible View menu

I was appalled to find Pintura abandoned on the day time I had booked a table. The restaurant had obviously closed recently but not only was I not informed, but I received an email only the day before asking if I was still planning to take my table. Open table have now asked me to review a restaurant that Is closed. Ridiculous. Have they gone out of business??

After booking this restaurant through OpenTable and receiving an email to confirm my booking only 2 days before, which I confirmed I would be attending. To travel and turn up for the restaurant to be closed and looking as if it had for some time! Not what was needed when trying to celebrate a birthday and therefore had to quickly find somewhere in Leeds at prime time on a Saturday night to eat!

"The drinks menu offered plenty of options, including decent wines and a selection of beers and cocktails. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, even with the restaurant fully booked on a Friday night—kudos to the staff. We even spoke with one of the team members who explained their concept of lighter curries, designed to energize rather than make you feel stuffed. They really hit the mark with that philosophy. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with a diverse and relaxed crowd all enjoying their meals and conversations. "This independent restaurant is truly fantastic. The food and service were both outstanding. The starters were exceptionally delicious. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the main course and dessert. The fact that it is 100% gluten-free is the icing on the cake. People with celiac disease have very few reliable places to dine, so this restaurant is a gem."

"Definitely best lunch my wife and I have ever had. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the decor was directly from a Parisian bistro. Now to the food. We shared 6 x Tempura king prawns for nibbles which were perfect. I had frogs legs for starters with a delicious warm salad. Duck and brandy parfait to start was loved by my wife. Main for me was halibut with clams and seafood chowder , every mouthful superb. The misses went for her favourite, Moules Mariniere and thought it delightful. We had to have desserts. Wifey went for iced white chocolate parfait with honeycomb, I chose apple tart which as you should know by now were both delicious."

"This was my husband 's choice to celebrate his birthday. Our visit started with 2 glasses of complimentary prosecco which was a nice touch It also finished with 3 complimentary brownies wishing him 'bonne anniversaire '. We loved the French ambiance from the music to the various artefacts. We chose from the tea time set menu and everything was delicious the pate, the beignets, the chicken, the ham hock, the melted chocolate pudding and the cheese board. The service was just as good as the food attentive but friendly. I think this is our new favourite restaurant in Leeds!"
