"Delicious food as always with some excellent daily specials as well as the main menu. My only complaint was that when we ordered a second round of dishes because the first was so yummy there was a misunderstanding with one dish, and then even the replacement was the wrong dish (but we didn’t have the heart to tell them it was wrong again so we ate what we were given instead of what we had ordered)."

"Our booking was for 20.00 a.m. at the night of an international rugby game in Edinburgh. It was understandably busy this day, which is the lack of better wines. The experience was disappointing for other reasons. The menu list of starters was inspiring and the menu card itself reminded of a tired diner. The food was okay, not more than that. Our table was near the door and the guests at this end had a constant series of surcharges as others came and went. The worst, and not only in the current coronavirus environment, a waiter from the WC cubicle looked straight into the dining area without washing his hands. When we were just gone, and since I didn't want to upset our guests, I didn't raise them back then. However, this is completely unacceptable."

"It's 6 months since we were last here. We had an excellent evening. We had deliberately chosen a Monday evening because one member of the party is pretty deaf (me) and we thought it would be quieter. Actually there were fewer people in the restaurant than last time but the noise level was difficult for me. We loved the variety of food, the wine was excellent and the service was outstanding. There's a lot of competition to be the best tapas restaurant in London and none of us knows of a better one than Boqueria. Thanks to all"

"we're lucky that malvarosa is local to us. we do not feel the need to go to the city center for occasions, as we always get great eating in a beautiful atmosphere when we go here. we went on Friday night as a family group of 4 people. everything was delicious. the sangria is particularly recommended. tapas was great and homemade brot fantastic. we're coming back!"

"beautiful evening! after we just returned from Spain a few weeks ago we were believed to be brave and decided to try this place. it was excellent overall, apart from the kartoffels that could be much more beautiful, they were slightly over boiled and possibly frozen before, so had a very synthetic taste except that everything was perfect! we will definitely go back."

"I went there one night with my Mum and Dad and brother. We ordered pizza which on Wednesdays and Thursdays is on a 2 for 1 offer. The pizzas were delicious. We then order some desert. I had the salted caramel cheesecake. It was one of the best cheesecakes I ever tasted. The staff were friendly and approachable, keeping things to a high standard. I would say that the main ceiling light should be turned off and just keep the lamps on. It was a little too bright in there. Other than that a great evening out at the pub. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"on Tuesday evening, the 24th May at 19 o'clock, it was very busy in the restaurant, but the staff was brilliant, courteous and friendly. we were a party of seven and asked if they could fit us, the men said they could, but we could wait one. we ordered a selection of drinks and sat within twenty minutes with menus and our orders were taken. the quality and amount of food we had was great. the menu had a great choice and very reasonable price. the party we were in was traveled by london and earth. I have no problem when they visit their gas house at my next visit and recommend to anyone who visits this part of wales to look for this little gem."

"I visited valentina for lunch today. we know that eating from past experience is great and also it tends to be a waiting for eating, but after waiting for our pizza we have got a bit hungry to say the least. the restaurant. was quite busy and asking how much longer the chef told me he was alone and fought to maintain with the commands, as he had not enough space in his many to fit everything. the young waitress was apologetic and said they would adjust the bill accordingly, what we noticed that she did not, but that is not why I write this review. my man and I live in seaford and so much like to support and use our local restaurants and can recommend them. she said that a cook had gone without warning and that meant that she had only a new one from italy and he was not used to the kitchen yet. that confused me when he looked like the same one that had been there for a while? whatever the reasons for the delays exist, there seems such a scandal that a restaurant that produces large food does not seem to sort the delivery of it or the front of home staff the training, at least keep their customers up to date standing on their order. I sincerely hope that they can regulate this, because it would be a pity not to support them in the future. I have booked a table for friends in the juni, and I think now I should think this booking new and take it elsewhere. Perhaps the owner of this restaurant can convince me otherwise."

"today we went to our Christmas day dinner at night when we went in the pub it was festive and beautifully decorated. the atmosphere was dizzy, and it was very busy, but we were served our drinks quickly and efficiently and were all turned free. from wodka. we were inaugurated in the conservatory where the tables were placed. they were beautifully laid with crackers etc. very firmly. Although it was very busy, the appetizers soon came out, everyone got the right food, our whole meal was absolutely delicious, without any mistake. there were generous portions, but not above the face, it was beautifully presented and tasted beautiful. the service was excellent, staff very efficient friendly helpful, but not transferred. sheila the charming renter was attentive and our beautiful waitress levi could not do enough for us. we had an amazing time and would not hesitate to recommend in this facility for and special occasion."

"on a sunny Saturday afternoon for some food aborted. beautiful building with a great location on the canal. beer garden was busy. in the bar area was busy, but not too loud. had a short wait before you said to go only through the restaurant that was nice in a winter garden. drinks accommodating quickly and immediately arrived. the food selection was good for a pub with the additional selection of pizzas. eating came fast and was hot. chips were good, very small piece baked, but the bark was plentiful and tasty, veg was from a package. fish was nice, but also possibly frozen, as was quite watery, but still eating was very good for pub duck. the staff was courteous, professional and friendly. the atmosphere was good."

"Awful meal for Mother’s Day, myself, partner and our baby got seated upstairs, there was no atmosphere, just one other family were sat there it looked like an empty function room. It was cold and drab I felt like we’d been put out of the way. Food was disgusting. carvery meats all swimming in water in one dish together already carved up. Vegetables were solid as a rock and the lady had fetched fresh mashed potato which when we started eating was cold. The food and atmosphere does not even deserve 1 star. Horrible experience McDonald’s on the way home and it’s ruined what should’ve been a lovely family day. Will never return. We used to visit this pub often and it has always been fantastic with a lot of variety! What has happened? Maybe new ownership? Either way save your money and look elsewhere. Very disappointing."

"Visited several times with varying friends. Couple who run this rude arrogant. More than once we were made to feel uncomfortable when we were last customers in a full hour before advertised closing time. Female pointedly paced past us whilst we were still eating moving chairs either pretending to tidy up or actually sweeeping the floor near us. The last straw was when the husband proceeded to hoover near around us. This was the only time we actually complained about such rude unhygienic practice to to be told by him if we didn't like it not to come back. Needless to say we haven't."

"We celebrated our anniversary at The White Horse in Kenninghall because its menu offered more variety than the usual pub fare at other places. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the owner made us feel very welcome. We started with dishes of whitebait accompanied by a tangy red pepper dip and Mongolian lamb in salad wraps, both of which were delicious and fresh. For the main course, I highly recommend the steak salad with blue cheese and walnuts—it was fantastic! We finished with a mocha ice cream cake, which was absolutely delightful. Overall, a lovely experience!"
