"today we went to our Christmas day dinner at night when we went in the pub it was festive and beautifully decorated. the atmosphere was dizzy, and it was very busy, but we were served our drinks quickly and efficiently and were all turned free. from wodka. we were inaugurated in the conservatory where the tables were placed. they were beautifully laid with crackers etc. very firmly. Although it was very busy, the appetizers soon came out, everyone got the right food, our whole meal was absolutely delicious, without any mistake. there were generous portions, but not above the face, it was beautifully presented and tasted beautiful. the service was excellent, staff very efficient friendly helpful, but not transferred. sheila the charming renter was attentive and our beautiful waitress levi could not do enough for us. we had an amazing time and would not hesitate to recommend in this facility for and special occasion."

We’ve just spent a wonderful evening at the Mexborough Arms. The food was great sensible portion sizes! and the entertainment was fabulous. We turned up with friends and two dogs and were made very welcome. We joined in the quiz night and were...then treated to bingo too. The food was tasty and the desserts were delicious. But the atmosphere was the icing on the cake. Sheila is a fabulous landlady and host what a great evening.

Called in by chance today and what a wonderful surprise...We decided to stay and have Sunday lunch, and are we glad we did. Three of us ordered lamb and my husband ordered beef, the meat was cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire puddings were home made and...delicious, vegetables were cooked just how I like them. And on top of all this a free desert!! if you ordered Sunday lunch, we ordered the crumble it was beautifully present with fresh berries on the side. Congratulations to the cook we will certainly be back.

"The food is enjoyable, with a variety of side options, but sadly, it lacks truly Asian offerings, opting instead for items like burgers, hot dogs, and chicken fries. It's a quality pub/bar with fair prices for generous portion sizes, something that many places struggle to achieve. The outdoor seating area is nice, equipped with heat lamps (note that the terrace closes at 9:00 PM), and the indoor space is spacious and stylish. If it were located in Leeds City Centre, I’m sure it would be bustling with customers. Parking is convenient, seating is easy to find, and the restaurant is situated on a pleasant street. However, I do have a few suggestions for the owners: First, choose a clear identity—either a pub or a restaurant. In my opinion, given its location, it would excel as a bar/pub. You have the space, so consider adding a pool table and offering attractive drink deals to draw in customers. Advertise more effectively; put up posters and enhance your online presence. While the restaurant has potential, I struggled to find any information about it—no reviews, no proper website, and even the posted opening hours were incorrect. If you're looking to generate buzz, consider giving out a free side dish in exchange for reviews. Whatever it takes to get the word out! To everyone else: If you're in the area or nearby, definitely check this place out. It’s worth a visit! **Service:** Dine-in **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** £10–20 **Food Rating:** 3/5 **Service Rating:** 5/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 3/5 **Parking Space:** Plenty available **Parking Options:** Free parking lot"
