When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they seemed indifferent and I had to insist on speaking with a manager. I requested that the original price be honored, but this was not offered. The overall cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired, and it appeared run-down, which might not have been so bothersome if the customer service had been better and if they had taken the time to make my mum's birthday a special occasion."
