"The Yorkshire bar&grill in St Maurices road in York is a really stylish restaurant and bar that offers an upmarket food menu and an excellent drinks range. This is an excellent place and somewhere I normally wouldn't visit but we where on our way to...a few pubs inside the city walls and went in here for a few beers. This is an upmarket bar&grill and without a doubt the most posh place we visited while on a six day city break in York.We where on our way to the Keystones pub but decided to go here as we were a bit lost and what a pleasant experience it was. We only came in for a few glasse's of John Smith's brewery bitters which where served in perfect condition albeit quite expensive but when you visit a place like this and how good this place is'its justifiable. As mentioned above this is a place that we normally wouldn't visit as we normally drink cask or craft ales but if you are looking for an upmarket bar&grill this could be a nice place to have a meal or a few drinks.Really easy to get to from Monk Bar bus stop its a minute or so away.(This is my first review of the Yorkshire bar&grill).
