"I booked this restaurant as a surprise for my daughter 's 18th birthday; had promised to take her for ages. This has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants I 've visited in a long time. And the best service in any restaurant; a lot of other places could learn from this place. We were greeted on arrival and shown to a table and I asked for a candle, as were on other tables, as it was her birthday. No problem! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with space between tables and the whole place feels comfortable and airy. As for food we had the traditional mixed platter to start followed by egg fried rice, sizzling lamb and from the 'traditional Chinese menu ' we had flat noodles with marinated beef. All delicious and the lamb and noodles are especially recommended. They serve Cantonese cuisine plus traditional Chinese dishes if you would like to try something more 'authentic ' and they are happy to explain any dishes you 're not sure about. If anything is left over it is boxed up for you to take home. The service is brilliant and I have to say a big thank you to the waiter who served us, sorry I didn 't get your name. As it was my daughter 's 18th they surprised her with banana fritters and chocolate ice cream as a surprise even sung happy birthday and gave her a gift. What a lovely restaurant! We will definitely be back. Thank you very much to the owner and your lovely staff."

"Great, in fact fantastic food. The restaurant had a very casual and relaxing feel to it, which I liked. The decor is a bit cheesy but that's the nature of the beast. Apart from us there were over 20 other patrons, all Chinese. Obviously you feel reassured of food quality if actual Chinese people are frequenting the restaurant and having a good time. If I had to picky, I'd say the main waiter, with the ear ring!, needs to cheer up a little. At least look like you enjoy the job mate...."

"The restaurant is lovely, but our experience was disappointing. There were 6 of us and the food was not good. The lamb kebabs and lamb chops were tough and unpleasant to eat. The service was also poor, with the waiter only attending to us when called. After paying a high price for poorly cooked food, we decided to never eat at hotels again. We had much better meals at other local restaurants such as Sawil and Marie Venna."

"Have been here several times and always go for the evening buffet. Which you can do at lunch or dinner time. It £29.99 a person but you can eat, as much as you like. The portions are small which is great as it means you can have lots of different things rather than the masses they give you when you order a take away. Service is always good, food hot and delicious. Really recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Egg Fried Rice, Chicken Chop Suey, King Prawns with Oyster Sauce, Special Fried Rice, Ribs, Pork Dishes, Crispy Seaweed, Sirloin Beef Dishes, Chicken Chow Mein Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes"

"great food, great atmosphere, great service. we really enjoyed eating in cocochan. booked table day on a busy day off, so our table was a bit small for five adult, but would not expect such a great place to have a larger table available on the same day. will return definitiw. for good mocktails. would recommend the virgin mojito"

"I loved the vegetarian Laksa noodle soup and will go back for it. Quantity was huge, fairly priced... could not finish...each spoon was full of flavours the best I've had. But a bad experience some confusion with the vegetarian wonton soup order... realised it was prawn midway my daughter was eating it...she felt queasy when realised it was prawn and the staff just did nothing about it. When it appeared on the bill too staff member showed me the menu how no vegetarian option is there and I had to playback my discussion of checking with waiter that if the vegetarian option was there and after that confirmed the ordered. Eventually the manager removed it from the bill but yes it did made me feel sad as I was simply loving my laksa soup. The desert was over priced and not great. But yes, it was just a one off experience...the food is great and I will surely go back for the laksa soup."

"I was staying overnight in London for work. I travelled to Swiss Cottage specifically to try this restaurant. They do not take on line bookings and having not phoned ahead I was concerned to arrive at the restaurant and find it looking very busy on a cold Thursday evening. I asked for a table for one and a table was found phew! The food was great. Quite expensive, but this is London. Basically a Chinese menu with some Malaysian dishes. So I had a quarter of crispy duck which was cooked really well and came with a generous supply of pancakes. I followed this with delicious beef rending and rice. Sometimes this sort of food can swim in MSG, but not here. Service was efficient, friendly and helpful (I liked the fact that nearly all staff wore masks). I really enjoyed this meal, although it was far from cheap."

"I really enjoy the food at this restaurant! I usually order from Ubereats, but this time I decided to dine in. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately, a few items were forgotten from our order."

"We normally use a different Chinese takeaway, however as it was closed for the Chinese New Year we decided to try Little Canton again. Never again. The food was tasteless and couldn’t tell the difference between black bean sauce, curry and the chow mien. Even the egg fried rice was appalling. I’m not entirely sure that the ‘chicken’ in the chicken and black bean dish was actually chicken. Chewy is an understatement. The only edible thing was the crispy seaweed. It gets one star only because I couldn’t give it zero. Complete waste of money, and ended up making a cheese and ham sandwich for dinner. Don’t waste your money."

"Great Thai food, super down to earth and chilled out place. A great place for a tasty lunch or dinner. Beware, they do make their food spicy (well I think so anyways) so I always of for the mild version for the Pad Krapao with pork which I highly recommend! Also try the Thai Iced Tea perfect for summer"

"so we went to the pfeffer tree, as it was late and there were not many alternatives. I would read here, they did something vegan eating and true enough they do. I probably ate the same as any other vegan who's ever in there: dim-sum, vegetable-stirring-bean and kokosreis. It was okay, not amazing, but okay. I've tied some sweet stuff and I remember a review here that said the cocos rice and mango sorbet was vegan. I asked the waitress and she went away to check and confirm it was. she also mentioned the pancake, but I was stuck with the tear. the desert came and I thought nothing of it and tried the ‘writing’, which proved to be a burned pancake. then I tried the sorbet who proved to be a tagel eis! I complained, but I really don't think she thought it was a big thing! I recommend to avoid this place to all."
