"Initially shown to a table near to an outside door despite the booked reservation. It had to be made up for us although other central tables were available. Requested to move which we did but why place us there as though our booking had been forgotten? Otherwise an enjoyable meal with friendly, attentive service."

"On this occasion we were celebrating a lunchtime birthday. The January menu fitted the bill and was great value for money. This is one of our many revisits back to Albert's Worsley. The food didn't disappoint any of our party of 5. Special thanks to our waitress Leanne who was brilliant."

"It was a very convenient location for us for a pre performance dinner at 5:30 on our way to the Middle Temple Hall. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were the only diners in the place for our first half hour and they accommodated our preference to have the Muzak played more quietly a rare treat in this noisy world. The food was good, the portions plentiful. My only small complaint was that the broccoli side portion arrived pretty cold and without the garlic it was advertised as having. But it still complimented my spaghetti carbonara, which was a true Italian dish."

"We hadn't been here for about a year. It has had a refurb or something because it looked a lot fresher than before. We were greeted warmly on arrival and pre-lunch drinks orders were taken promptly. The staff were friendly and efficient, with service being...attentive but not obtrusive. I had the pate to start awesome followed by the steak, which was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavour. My colleague had the crab starter and said it was excellent. He also had the steak and agreed with my assessment. A great visit !"

"Lovely cosy restaurant that has seemed to slip under the radar under the shadow of surrounding pubs. Unfortunately so! Unlike some of the other pubs on upper st, we were welcomed in and seated immediately and presented with a menu generous with options. I could describe the meal as a really tasty home cooked roast dinner, with an edge of fancy. But doesn't sacrifice quantity for quality! Really delicious roast pork, accompanied by a £1.50 **** Mary! Great to see a veg friendly roast option. The panna cotta for dessert was silky and delicious. Great bustling atmosphere without being too noisy or busy to be served."

"We have been here before, but I 'm this occasion. We waited ages for drinks, there was a 'shortage ' of mayo so we 're given 2-3 sachets at a time, between two children and two adults. Before out starters arrived I had to take my baby outside to get her to sleep. Whilst out the starters came, no offered to keep it warm in the kitchen etc. So my husband was not happy. Would not go back. At our local pub our children often get a full pizza with a children 's meal. Here they got a slice!! The servers were polite but just very slow. One asking if we were finished we replied no, as children were still eating, and she started clearing until my husband said we still aren 't finished!! We both had steaks, no steak knives. Just not a good experience."

"The food was good but……. Service was awful, ordered wine and it was basically dumped at the bottom of our table not even the top taken off ! Pizza was good also the burger, was a chore for the waitress to get us any sauces. When we had finished we were asked can I take your plates, No can I offer you a dessert, coffee nothing. After 20 mins we got up and had to ask for our bill at the main desk, again a chore for the member of staff to have to get our bill.what a shame as it could be a very high rating place to eat."

"I made a reservation for a table for 8 people for lunch on June 16th, only to arrive and be informed that Fratelli's does not serve food at lunchtime on Sundays. We were very frustrated as we had traveled for an hour to reach the restaurant, with two separate groups coming from different directions to celebrate Father's Day. Your booking system made a significant error. Although the venue offered bar meals, it was not what we had in mind. We had to quickly make alternative plans, as we did not want to be disappointed. I took the initiative to book through Open Table and received a confirmation email, so I am very upset. I recommend that you ensure your system is regularly checked and updated. I will not be using your booking system in the future."

"We were passing by and were intrigued when we saw this restaurant, so we decided to turn around and stop here instead. We tried the cullen skink, which was absolutely fantastic. It was the best we had during our trip to Scotland. The house-made sourdough bread was delicious, and the fish and chips were the best we've had in Scotland. The addition of citrus and dill in the batter for the fish really elevated the dish. We noticed that the fish and chips were less salty here compared to the states, but that was easily remedied on our own. The onion rings were cooked perfectly and are a must-try if you're in the Inverness area, which isn't too far away - just a short car ride."

"I am ashamed to state that after 12 years passing by , as I noticed this pub had changed hands many times , I booked a meal for two last Saturday evening and I was so happily surprised! The pub is so cosy in half light and just such a kind and warming place. The staff are fantastic and the food equally fantastic. I had thought , ok, pub food but it was all natural and home cooked. You can take your dog too! There was a man singing which added to the ambience. What a great place and that will teach me for not stopping by before ! Don’t judge a book by its cover! The Monkland Arms is a fantastic place to eat and to chill with friends! Well done to you !"

"I planned to celebrate my 65th Birthday at this restaurant that I have visited a few times before. However, when I arrived, I was informed that the restaurant I had booked was under renovation and I was directed to a different one with a limited menu that did not appeal to me. Despite the waitress' apologetic offer of a complimentary drink, I was disappointed and opted to leave. I had to find another dining option in the town center, which dampened my birthday celebration. I had been looking forward to dining at the restaurant that overlooks Ibrox Stadium and had even shared my excitement on social media. It was embarrassing to admit that I left without a meal. I live 25 miles away from Ibrox and had made a substantial effort to get there, but did not receive an apology from the restaurant. Mary."

"I can't stop thinking about the incredible taste of the food! I had to go back with my wife and her friend, and they felt the same way—absolutely delicious! The dessert was simply heavenly! - RAP MASTER RICKY"
