"Firstly done judge a book by the cover. Outside looks a bit unkept and not many cars were parked. But walked through the doors and how lovely it was a warm welcome by the host. We had a table booked and was shown to it no menu just what’s on the board, good choice of starters (but not for me) which I must say not their fault. Three meats to chose from as it was Sunday Beef (local) ham and lamb, fresh veggies and the most delicious cauliflower cheese I have ever had. Puddings also good. Was asked if we had everything and if we needed anything else host and chef absolutely lovely could not do enough. Do not hesitate to go we would go back no questions asked."

We are holidaying in the area and thought it looked nice, so booked for dinner. We were not disappointed the meals were superb and the landlords were very friendly.

The chef is an excellent maker of curry. His passion is obvious when he explains the curry’s available. Serving size was really good too at this price point. Would highly recommend.

Good Sunday lunch if you like solid simple pub grub. Beef apparently overdone but enjoyable. My halloumi chips were good but bruschetta disappointing. Beers good but wine selection very limited- white Riocha pleasant enough

The team at this venue have worked hard to offer a really nice pub dining experience at good value prices. All local produce and very well kept beers. Will dine and drink again and would recommend. The new addition of pies and pasty’s from a local farm shop is excellent for a casual snack.

We went for my Birthday whilst on holiday in the area and was made most welcome by the host's and nothing was to much trouble, the food was good and reasonably priced there was a good selection of draft beer and cider, so all in all a very pleasant evening.
